-Enjoy water views from our well appointed large back deck with Fire Pit and Weber BBQ for your use.
The entire upstairs has 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms for your group. Two Queen bedrooms and a Twin bedroom plus a Common Room, a very large well stocked kitchen, a cozy enclosed front porch for a quiet read or a glass of wine, and the large back deck.
The Common Room has a wide variety of games and cards to choose from.
We love to share our knowledge of unique spots to visit
in our area, and to make your holiday a special adventure. There are some great spots off the usual radar that should not be missed.
We allow a pet to stay only if it is trained. Please contact with details when booking.
We live on the main floor, away from our guests as we
have our own separated living quarters.
We do share the kitchen at times but keep out of the way. Breakfast each day is provided by Judie- your host and chef. Breakfast is healthy and homemade, with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, bran-blueberry muffin, homemade bread, French press coffee, tea, and juice.
No extra cost.
The sunny Common Room, is equipped with games, a 40 inch smart TV with sports, Prime and Netflix.
.. We are approximately 10 km south of Digby. Nearby is whale watching, Bear River artist community, with 2 art galleries, and Bear River Winery. Also, a 15 minute drive is Gilbert`s Cove Lighthouse,with inside tea room, and a 5 minute drive is Savary Park with water access.
Enjoy fresh scallops in the Digby area restaurants, such as the Wheelhouse Restaurant, Sydney St. Pub, Fundy Restaurant, and Crow`s Nest.
A 30 minute drive to Annapolis Royal which is Canada`s oldest settlement with Fort Anne, and an additional 20 minute drive to the French fort of Port Royal which is a recreated fort that existed in 1602.
Annapolis Royal has many art galleries, shops, brewery, restaurants, Saturday morning market, etc.

PONY RIDES is 20 dollars including feeding the horses.
Judie can recommend local restaurants, attractions, and places to see in the area.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good ready and waiting for us by 7-7:30 am. There was some road noise but it was not too bothersome. Very interesting,comfortable and eclectic decor and furnishings . Would stay here again!

Quaint and comfortable home overlooking St Mary’s Bay. Judy & Len are welcoming and fabulous hosts! The many things we appreciated included the information on whale watching bookings well in advance, beaches, restaurants, chocolate bars in rooms, home made muffins, and local points of interest.

Our group of four women had a super nice stay this lovely home. Judie has thought of everything to make her guests comfortable. She was also very helpful in our trip planning. She had great suggestions for dinners, lunches, coffee, and sites to see. Judie’s breakfasts are lovely as well. We enjoyed her large, inviting kitchen. The entire home is full of interesting, whimsical art and more. We highly recommend this place.

Whale watching adventure and reconnection a!

Great location for a brier island whale watching tour and exploration of the Digby area and French Acadian shore. The home is very comfortable with interesting and quirky decor. The hosts are friendly and very accommodating. We were two couples from different provinces who get together once a year to catch up. Perfect spot for us to do that!

Judie and Len are wonderful people. The house is great, quiet with an amazing view of the Bay! And forget about Google Maps & tourist guides: Judie will tell you all there is to visit in the region in regards to your tastes! Two Day Stay

Our stay with Judie & Len was the start of a 9 day visit to Nova Scotia. We were two couples, Nana & 3 children. We all fit comfortably in the three bedrooms and had three bat/washrooms too. Cosy rooms with a welcoming host!

The property was clean, cute and easy to get to! The rooms were lovely with added little touches like extra toothbrushes, water, and chocolates that made you feel at home. Loved our morning chats with Judie over a yummy breakfast! Judie also gave lots of good recommendations.

Beautiful location with incredible hosts

We loved the location with easy access to Digby Neck and nearby restaurants, along with the view from the porch and comfortable, artistic and tasteful home. We got in late and left quite early for the Yarmouth Ferry, but Julie was wonderful to work with. Everything was just as expected and the space was very generous, clean and quiet. We would definitely stay here again -Super friendly folks!

Pleasant B&B in Barton

The breakfast was ample with delicious homemade granola and muffins. Our host Judy was very helpful with recommending places to visit. The 3 bathrooms and bedrooms worked well for our party of 6 adults. Enjoyed Judy's collection of artwork and the deck.

Authentic BnB

Casa Moana was such a pleasant, comfortable, and peaceful BnB situated below Digby close to the Acadian shore. We were a group of five and had plenty of room having the entire upstairs to ourselves. Ste Marie Baie views from some windows and from the breakfast area. Breakfast was a wholesome blend of yogurt, fresh fruits, homemade granola, bran muffins, and French pressed coffee! Judie and Len were welcoming and very resourceful during our stay. Highly recommend this BnB on your trip to Nova Scotia.

Casa Moana is a beautiful home with fantastic hosts. We loved every minute of our stay. We had the entire top floor along with a sitting room downstairs, mini-fridge in the kitchen and lovely deck with an ocean view in the back. It is convenient by car, to both the Yarmouth and Digby ferries and close lots of things to do around the Bay of Fundy, such as whale watching. The hosts were very responsive, kind and flexible when one of our ferries cancelled. We hope to return one day.

Home away from home

Judie and Len were amazing hosts. She always knew what to recommend in the area we were going to explore and he always had great stories to tell. Hospitality Plus !

Upon arrival at Casa Moana , we were met at the door with smiling face and warm welcome .lovely older home with delightful ambience. Home was convenient to areas we wanted to visit. A pleasant surprise was an invitation to fire pit social. Can’t find words to properly describe our stay . Traveling through Nova Scotia

Very nice VRBO. Suggest asking guuests if they want such items as juice for breakfast. Not all of us wanted juice but felt obligated to drink it since it was prepoured. Display of "smelly" soaps for sale in the kitchen was not appreciated. Smell was Too Much especially when eating breakfast.

Stellar Host

Casa Moana is truly an amazing home to come to. It is historic, stylish, funky, enchanting, comfortable, maritime and overall a most enjoyable home/cottage where one can sit back and relax. Situated on Highway 101, the home has a classic view of Saint Mary's Bay Leading out into the Bay of Fundy flanked by the Digby neck. The morning fog was mystical as we sat in the sun porch and watched it ascend as the mornings grew on. The same views are seen from the sitting room and the deck. The deck is spacious and comfortable with deck furniture, a Webster bar-b-cue and a fire table. Casa Moana is only a ten minute drive into Digby and surrounding areas. Couldn't ask for more. Judie, our host, is more than a super host. She is stellar! Great conversation, laughter and sharing of ideas. Judie cared for the comfort of her guests, suggested places to eat and visit making our stay memorable. Judie spoiled us with daily breakfasts that were nutritional and beyond tasty. The table was beautifully set every morning and proved to be an inviting way to start each day. Thank you Judie for a remarkably enjoyable stay. We are already chatting about our next venture to Casa Moana and maybe some good cooking together with our host!
