About the host
Hosted by Melanie Judd

We're a Maine family – Mom's a dedicated RN, Dad works hard in construction, and our two young daughters keep us on our toes! Our furry family includes Tiki the Belgian Malinois and two curious cats. For years, we've dreamt of having a special family camp where we could create lasting memories together. Opening up Dragonflies Den as a vacation rental is a way for us to achieve that dream as well as share it with you and your loved ones. We hope you'll enjoy the peace and beauty of the Rangeley region as much as we do and create your own cherished moments here.
Why they chose this property
What we truly cherish about this location is its incredible balance. Here at Quimby Pond, the privacy is unparalleled – a true escape where you can truly unwind and feel secluded. Yet, despite this tranquility, you're never far from the action. Just a short 10-minute drive brings you to a vibrant community with an active social scene and enjoyable nightlife. For our young family, Quimby Pond itself is a dream come true. Its shallow waters create the perfect, safe playground for our daughters to splash and play to their hearts' content. And all around us, the abundance of wildlife is simply breathtaking – a constant reminder of the natural beauty that surrounds us. It's the best of both worlds: peaceful retreat and easy access to fun and excitement.
What makes this property unique
This secluded property offers exceptional privacy, nestled on the quiet shores of Quimby Pond. With easy access for all, you'll find a wide array of activities right at your doorstep. From legendary fly fishing and boating on the pond to nearby hiking trails and winter snowmobiling, there's something for everyone, year-round.
