Perched on the shore of the glorious Chain O’Lakes in Central Wisconsin, A serene, year-round respite from hectic life with a beautiful view and a great sandy beach. Freshly renovated condo, completely appointed with a wood-burning fireplace, full kitchen, wide-screen TV, two full length screen porches perfect for yoga or a glass of wine at sunset. Our pontoon boat and kayaks are available for separate rental. Enjoy cocktail cruises, great restaurants and entertainment, only a short drive to supper clubs, great museums and other local attractions.

Renowned for its crystal clear green-blue water, the 21 spring-fed lakes of the Chain O’ Lakes are a baptism of the spirit. With the no-wake peacefulness of McCrossen Lake on one side of the point and the boater’s dream that is Round Lake on the other, this idyllic spot affords the dream vacation for everyone.

Ideal for paddle-boarding, kayaking, or a cocktail cruise on a pontoon boat in the sunset, the lakes also are fantastic for sailing, water-skiing or even ice skating in the winter. Great restaurants nearby (including the boat-in Harbor Bar), mini-golf, movies at the Rosa Theater in charming Waupaca and day trips to amazing places like The House on the Rock and the Milwaukee Art Museum.

At our beautiful Wingspan property, you’ll find two swimming/sunning docks, a fire pit, and an easy walk down a grassy hill to the best sandy beach at the lakes. The Perch on Round Lake is a serene, fun-filled respite from hectic life surrounded by pristine lakes, blue skies of puffy clouds and the best sunsets in Wisconsin.

Freshly renovated, with an open stairway connecting its two floors, The Perch is stylishly furnished with three bedrooms, a fully appointed kitchen, dining room, washer/dryer, A/C wall units and sunken living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a piano, large HDTV with Amazon Fire TV and cable, wifi and two full length, lazy screen porches perfect for a great book, or a glass of wine at sunset. It's a perfect hideout for a quiet escape, a fun location for your reunion or a place to stay while renovating or building on the Lakes.

Guests who have rented our pontoon boat should check for any personal items and leave it clean. Kayaks should be thoroughly dried before repacking.

Ensure gas to BBQ grill is turned off and cover replaced.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Carpet was dirty with pet pee stains. Wall are dirty. Dishes were dirty and needed to be washed before use. Kitchen had a ant problem. Old and uncomfortable furniture. You could see the springs in one of the chairs. The boat didn’t have appropriate lights for nighttime navigation. It was very difficult to park the boat at the dock. There were only two wall air conditioners in the condo. One downstairs and one in the master bedroom. Consequently the two other upstairs bedrooms were quite warm and stuffy. I feel the owners need to invest in their property if they continue to rent it.

Nice place on the Chain

The condo is elevated above Round Lake. The hike down and back up the stairs to the docks was pretty daunting for my 70 year old parents. The actual condo is very nice and well appointed, but you do have very close neighbors. Might not be ideal if you plan on being out of doors later at night.

Beautiful Property!

This is a condo unit on a large lot on a point on the Chain. During the week it was very quiet, but it was understandably much busier on the weekend. Still, swimming and kayaking from the property was always an option. We played tennis on the condo's court; bocce, football and frisbee on the lawn; and enjoyed road and mountain biking in the area. We also kayaked the adjacent Crystal River, once leaving right from the property. The unit was nice, with a lovely family room, screened porch and patio area facing the lake. The master bedroom upstairs was lovely, with a screened porch up there as well. The other two BRs were in the back. Nobody complained, though!

Fanastic Location, best beach on the chain, and a great place to stay.

The place was clean, organized, and very quiet. The view was fantastic and the water was crystal clear. The beach was a particular favorite. We brought our own boat, but spent most of our time in the large sand beach that extends out about 100 feet. Great place for families who love the water.

Our property is completely unique to the Chain. Situated on a gorgeous 14 acre point between Round and McCrossen lakes, Wingspan is a multi-unit oasis with a lovely beach, trails, docks, diving docks, and parking right in the center of the Chain within walking distance of The Wheelhouse, Scoopers, the Indian Crossing and Becker Marine. For a relaxing, quiet vacation, but with access to all the the water sports, lakes and night life the lakes have to offer! Perfect for an annual family reunion or a quiet getaway. Open year round, our place is stylishly decorated, with a modern kitchen and bathrooms, in a retro 70's space that is comfortable and artistic. With a gorgeous view from screen porches on both floors, it is truly idyllic - indoors and out.

What makes this property unique

We have a beautiful 20' pontoon boat for rent in our boat slip at discounted rates. Room for 14 passengers in bench seating. No need to set up an expensive rental.
