Very well equipped and we loved the kiva fireplace too! Lots of space & comfortable bed. Location was PERFECT for so many walks to and around Old Town. Close to a park. Wish we’d be around for the garden in patio areas! A GEM -we loved experiencing a casita- and our conversations with host who lived in our Minneapolis neighborhood for years!!!! Retirees first visit to NM
OMG! We couldn’t ask for a better place! Walking distance to Old Town. Very nice patio. Everything you need including coffee and cream and sugar! Washing machine dryer. Very clean and nice. We were even visited by Agatha the dog! It was a perfect stay for us two. The owner was very nice. We really enjoyed the stay!!!
Locayion is perfect with lots within walking distance: parks, museums, old town, shops, café, etc.Details of creature comforts were well attended to, and hosts were attentive and friendly. Even though located doentown. There wss a wonderful feeling of serenity and security. Great place!
Perfect little spot in old town, as a native I really appreciated the opportunity to stay here. The hosts provide lots of extras, which makes you stay so much more convenient. I will definitely be back!
This was my second stay at La Perla, and I’m sure it won’t be my last! The perfect location, and the most comfortable, private and welcoming home away from home! Just the best! Hosts are amazing as is the vale for the price.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Perla. The cottage was perfect for 2 - super clean and well stocked. We used the washer/dryer and appreciated the available supplies. The water bottles in the fridge were very much appreciated too. Rob and Aggie were excellent hosts. Don't miss the breakfast tacos at Central Grill!
The property was clean and had everything I needed. Rob was very helpful and Agatha the Labrador was lovely and friendly. Location was perfect if you want to visit the Old Town Plaza. It was also close to a bus line if you want to use them. Recommend Church Street Cafe and Little Anita’s to eat. Noisy Water Winery had lovely wine and nice food.
Great location in Old Town Albuquerque. Walking distance to everything. Casita is perfect for a couple with nice living room, stocked kitchen and bedroom. Shower is small but workable. Great outdoor space, great host, and enjoyed having Agatha around.
I really loved staying in this casita. It has that New Mexico charm with all the comforts of your own place! I was so happy to be able to comfortably and safely walk out the door and explore! Being right in Old Town is the best! The hosts are excellent and the place is great! Can’t wait to come back!

The location, organization and supplies in this casita were second to none. We loved it!
My delightful home away from home for a week. The location can't be beat. Well equipped with the latest appliances and electronics, with plenty of tabletop & desk space & seating. Lovely patio. The shower was alright although just big enough to stand in. Nice folks & friendly dog. Arlene, the property manager, was quick to help whenever I texted her. Next time I'm in Albuquerque, this will be my first choice.
Very cute and cozy house, down the street from sawmill. The sawmill, dinosaur museum, science museum are just a short walk through a beautiful park. Loved staying there!
The location of this spacious Casita is great….walking distance to everything in Old Town! I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO’s and I have to say that this is very well stocked with all you could need, they have thought of everything! The patio area is large with many places to sit and tables to eat at or to have your morning coffee. I highly recommend you stay here. You will not be disappointed.
Great location, steps away from Old Town, Albuquerque Museum of Art and History, etc. Good onsite parking. Owner and manager both very responsive and helpful. Casita itself is very nice. Spacious bedroom with en suite bathroom, well stocked kitchen, small but adequate living room. Lovely patio. Owner's dog Agatha is large but very old and very gentle--just wants to say hello, get a pat, then go back to sleep. Only caveat is that the shower stall is quite small, roughly 3' square. Overall, we had a lovely time here during our stay.

The Rispoli family are the proud owners of La Perla in Old Town. Having traveled a great deal , they know how important the little things can be and take delight in providing a "home away from home" for our visitors from around the world. Rob spent decades providing mortgage services to families throughout the U.S. These days you're most likely to find him working or hanging out in the courtyard he lovingly cares for. As only the third owners in one hundred years, we are committed stewards to this special historic property for all to enjoy...The Rispoli Family
Why they chose this property
The Rispoli family moved a great deal and while Tempe, Arizona was our base we lived in Palo Alto, CA, Minneapolis, Durango, CO, Greenville, SC AND Albuquerque. As Tempe and the Phoenix area grew, we decided it was the right time to relocate to a smaller city and a less stressful lifestyle. One day, while on a business trip to Albuquerque, Rob noticed a for sale sign being pounded into the ground in front of a just-renovated Old Town property. He stopped, greeted the owner, went inside, called Phyllis and the rest as they say is history! We love our property and want you to feel as comfortable and relaxed as we do everyday when we greet the day. Come stay with us and enjoy the very best of our town in old town...!
What makes this property unique
You can park your car and walk from La Perla to the Old Town Plaza, 3 museums District, and the Sawmill Marketplace. It's only a 2-3 minute walk (really) to Tiguex Park, or the Old Town Plaza with its 200 year-old church, gazebo, restaurants and shopping. You'll find amazing SW and Native American jewelry. Caution: If the prices and too good to be true, that's a tipoff that it's probably not authentic!
Our guest book lists favorite New Mexican restaurants, local cafes, and fine dining. The Sawmill Marketplace is a very cool food hall with 20+ vendors and lots of outdoor dining in the warmer months.
The Summer months offer live music venues around the Old Town neighborhood. We are one mile from the Bio-Park's Aquarium and Botanical Gardens. Only an hour's drive to Santa Fe, you can also hop on the 'Railrunner' in downtown and enjoy a leisurely trip at a reasonable price.
