Welcome to your home away from home! Sweet Caroline is the perfect 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom (plus outdoor shower) home for your family to come back to after a full day in the sun.

The location is a dream, especially to those families with young children or older family members. In less than 5 minutes, you are able to walk to the brand new Bonnett Street beach access, Tortugas Lie, Morningview Coffee Shop, Galaxy Golf - Mini Golf, Waveriders Deli, Coffee + Pub, Dowdy Park/Playground + The Spot Ice Cream, just to name a few!

The Bonnett Street bathhouse/access is a rare find in the Outer Banks. It is fully equipped with restrooms, showers, handicapped accessible and mostly importantly, a lifeguard!

Only a block away from the NEW Dowdy Park! There is a great playground for kids as well as summer concerts at the band stand!

Great beach house perfect location!

Beach house very comfortable for family of 6 and had all the amenities. Location was ideal with walking distance to beach, park, and multiple restaurants. Will definitely stay again!

A 2nd great stay at Sweet Caroline

Another great stay at Sweet Caroline. Amanda was a fantastic host. Great location at 2 blocks walking distance to the beach. The cottage is well appointed and included all needed amenities.

Wonderful Vacation Spot

We had an awesome stay. The property was clean and very close to the beach. The kids had a great time playing basketball and skating down to the park at the end of the road. We couldn't believe how close we were to the ocean. We will definitely plan to stay there again.

Amazing house and great location!

Our family had such a wonderful stay for spring break at Sweet Caroline. The house was extremely clean and organized including a fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed. The outdoor shower was great for after the beach. The house is within walking distance of shops, a great coffee shop and our kids loved Dowdy Park. We would hands down stay here again!

Perfect for families with kids!

This property had everything our family of 5 (kids ranging in ages 3-9) needed to stay comfortably for the week including beach chairs and toys. Check-in was easy and the host was great! The wine in the fridge and ice pops for the kids was a nice little touch that added to the vacation feel when we arrived and were unpacking our vehicle!

Family friendly

We had a great week as a family of 4 with 2 small children in Nags Head. This home fit our needs very well and had lots of family friendly details- close to Dowdy park, bins of toys for the kids to play with and nightlights in the rooms. Plus it was a close walk to the beach and space for the kids to run around.

First Vacation to OBX

Great centralized location in Nags Head with quick access to amenities, beach, restaurants, etc... but in a quiet, low-traffic neighborhood. Property is very well maintained. The host was excellent! She was always accessible if needed, with quick responses and great advice.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay here. The house was immaculate and exceeded our expectations! Kitchen fully stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils etc. The pictures didn’t do it justice. Very open floor plan on main level with high ceilings made it feel very spacious! My family had a very relaxing time here ( pups included) and will certainly be back.

Beautiful House.

First time to Nags Head!

We had a wonderful visit to Sweet Caroline!! The photos in the listing are a perfect example of this lovely home. Upon arrival the house was spotless & contained just about every amenity you might need. They even had toys & books for our 3yo!! The location was perfect for our family as it was close to the beach, the park & mini golf… not to mention many great restaurants & ice cream spots! Being able to bring our dog really topped off our trip as we could relax without worrying about leaving our girl behind! Thanks so much for a memorable week… we hope to be back again!

Excellent Beach Vacation!

Our stay in Nags Head was absolutely wonderful. We had 4 adults and two children under 2 and the house was perfect with all the kid friendly toys and items already there. The beach wagon was a particularly big hit with my 1 year old walking to and from the beach. The house was spotless when we arrived, and thanks to an early departure from the previous guests we were able to check in early. The location was absolutely perfect, and we enjoyed having the enclosed upper porch for the kids to use. Would definitely stay again in a heartbeat, a week just wasn't long enough!

Sweet Caroline vs Dorian

We were scheduled to arrive when hurricane Dorian came through. The manager was amazing keeping us posted on our check in progress and making sure we were aware of the situation the entire time and was able to accommodate our trip. The home was cute and comfortable and super close to the beach. It looked just as cute or nicer than the pictures and we really enjoyed our relaxing stay at the beach.

Wonderful Stay at Nags Head

I had a wonderful stay at “Sweet Caroline”! This was an extended weekend for me and my dog (first time to Outer Banks and Nags Head). The cottage is in an amazing location just 5 minutes walk to the beach and short driving distance to many attractions. The place is very well appointed, super confortable with all amenities you need - the sun room and the decks were great and allowed us to enjoy the good weather we had during the stay. Our host Amanda was super helpful and responsive - thanks so much for all your recommendations on the wonderful places to eat and visit! Hope to be back in the future and will definitively recommend it to friends and family.

WONDERFUL Stay!

We are still smiling from the wonderful time our family had at this beautiful beach house. It was exactly as described & pictured…even better actually. The host was excellent in her communication. The area was perfect for our family. The park was a super quick scooter ride or walk from the house as was the beach. We walked to the surf shop, ice cream shop, and coffeehouse close by. We loved the hot tub too! The house is perfectly organized with families in mind. Kiddos loved the toys and corn hole too! Thanks for a great stay!

Fabulous Fourth

We had a great beach week at Sweet Caroline. House comes stocked with so many essentials compared to other homes. Nephews wished beach was closer but walk was fine by the adults! We could see the Nags Head pier fireworks from the deck of the house which was awesome! Kitchen is well stocked with cookware and dishes. Hot tub was a nice treat. Everyone slept well. Lots of beach chairs so leave yours home!
