Overlooking the historic swinging bridge, on the Iowa River, this newly-remodeled guest house features 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and fully equipped new kitchen which opens to the living area. The large living room windows look onto the landscaped private patio and the river. Tucked into a quiet neighborhood, the house is perfect for a relaxing weekend, or for a get-together with family or friends. The patio features comfortable wicker rockers, gas fireplace and gas grill. Quiet relaxing oasis to enjoy trees, birds and the river slowly rolling past.

Great place to visit Iowa Falls

Second time staying here. It is convenient to where my aged mother lives, and better to have a home to ourselves than rent two or more rooms at a motel. Love the setting, and it's a very comfortable home.

Perfect Home Away from Home to Visit!

We stayed here a week whole visitong our daughter at college. The views were amazing and the house was perfect for visiting! The kitchen was very well stocked and the host was very welcoming. We had no extras needs while we were there but I have no doubt he would have responded to any needs immediately. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels and extra pillows and blankets. Even though it was right at the Swinging Bridge it was always quiet.

LOVE this place!!!

We absolutely loved this place for the time we were able to be there. Had horse shows all day for two days and didn’t get to enjoy the patio or neighborhood as much as we would have liked to. Hope to be back again in the future. Beautiful home and location. Larry was great to woek with.

Well equipped property with a view

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property. It has everything you need to host people or to cook meals at home. It’s beautifully decorated and the beds are very comfortable. We will be back!

Beautiful views of the River

Visiting family for the weekend. Location is close to town and has an absolutely gorgeous outdoor space. House was appointed very thoughtfully and was really attractive. I grew up in that area so have a very fond place in my heart for that particular stretch of the Iowa. Was fun to enjoy it from a different view. Recommend.

Wonderful Cottage with Awesome View

We were pleasantly surprised by this cottage! Larry was an excellent host and communicator. Having two king size bedrooms was perfect for a couples’ getaway. We stayed here to attend a wedding and would definitely return to be able to spend more time at the cottage itself. Well stocked kitchen, loved the patio overlooking the Iowa River. This is a hidden gem!!!!

On the River

Location couldn’t be better! Unfortunately, a downpour the night we arrived so couldn’t enjoy the beautiful patio! Sat out there anyway in the cold with our coffee Sun. morning. Loved the lights on the bridge too!

Top of the Bridge

The kitchen island is large and perfect for gathering around. Can fit the whole crew at the dining room table or on the patio. 6 of us stayed here comfortably. Thoroughly our stay.

Wedding Weekend Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage along the river! The house was in beautiful condition and well appointed. Being right next to the river and swinging bridge offered gorgeous views. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful and like a home away from home

Stayed with my mom and sister. Each bedroom was set up very comfortably with tv’s so you can have personally space if needed. Kitchen was incredibly well stocked. Very clean. Decorated adorably. We were ready to move in! The outdoor patio is set up with beautiful plants and comfortable furniture. One of the best places I’ve stayed.

Great Place

The cabin is a great place and in a great location - the community is very friendly. We were extremely disappointed in the lack of communication with the host. He did not respond to messages through VRBO or on his personal cell phone and we were unable to check in timely.

Besties Weekend

We had a wonderful much needed weekend away. The house is very comfortable. Very nice well-equipped kitchen. The patio area was a great place to have our morning coffee. Iowa Falls is a beautiful area and we will be back.

Lovely place

We loved our long weekend getaway! The river view from the back terraces was amazing. Communication with the owner was excellent. The house was decorated beautiful and was very comfortable. We were only steps away from the swinging bridge leading to the nearby park. We hope to go again.

Beautiful view

We were staying during the change to fall colors along the river. Although the tastefully decorated Swinging Bridge Cottage was wonderful, the view from the wall of wiindows was most enjoyable! Great kitchen appliances, warm and cozy when the weather changed. The manager was easily accessible and very helpful.

Beautiful setting

This is one of my favorite VRBO stays. Beautiful home. Very confy too! And the landscaping on quaint yard is outstanding. Patio is on banks on Iowa River and looks over the swinging bridge. Owner went above and beyond to help us with our plans as they changed and he even stopped by to ask if all was ok. Not a single thing we can say other than fabulous!!!
