Comfy, clean and close to NYC

Very nice place to stay. Like having your own 2 bedroom apartment. The host is quick to respond to any text questions. About a 45 minute drive to NYC on average for sightseeing etc.

Wonderful property

We had an amazing stay! The space is beautiful, and exactly as pictured in the listing. Cozy furnishings make it feel like home, and it was the perfect size for our family. The adjacent street has a sidewalk which made walking our dog easy and convenient, and she was very comfortable in the property. The host was easy to reach with any questions, quick to respond, and very welcoming. The location was perfect for our needs - an easy drive to major highways and surrounding towns. We could not have asked for more!

Great Stay , Would recommend

My family had a great stay at the carriage house! Stephen and Trina were great hosts and were accommodating. The decor and aminities in the carriage house made us feel right at home. The stove/ oven was tricky for us to operate but used toaster over just fine. If asked , I am sure Stephen would help assist with any oven questions / concerns. We found the carriage house to be very up kept and clean and would highly recommend for your next stay in the area.

Good choice

We stayed nearly a month- me and my 17 year old daughter. It was a nice safe property, and it was very convenient to my daughter’s events and the Newark airport. The only thing for future renters is that unlike some vrbos, you do interact with the host, because they live in the main house and you live in the garage apartment above the garage. If you want silence and zero interaction, this is not your property. We were fine with it and had a great stay.

The apartment was exactly as advertised. We absolutely enjoyed our stay there. We brought our small puppy dog and she was very comfortable there . Our host was very kind and accommodating. We thank you for the stay.

Great stay in Roseland

Stephen and Trina's carriage house worked out perfect for us. We stayed over Thanksgiving. The space was very comfortable and quiet with everything you need for a short or long stay. Stephen and Trina were quick to respond with any questions. Roseland town center is a short walk or shorter drive with a good places to eat and variety. We would definitely stay there again without hesitation. We have stayed at a good number of VRBO's and this is one of the best.

Comfortable carriage house

Our host was helpful and accommodating from the beginning of our stay to a pleasant farewell. The property is well located within walking distance to a grocery store and multiple restaurants. The apartment made it possible for us to have a comfortable stay while visiting family nearby. Thank you Stephen.

Tranquility in Roseland

The carriage house apartment is part of a lovely, large home on a huge, well cared for property. The apartment was immaculate, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The internet reception was excellent and the cable includes quite the choice of streaming services. The neighborhood offers many terrific walks. Fairchild's, a boutique market with a huge array of wines and gourmet foods as well as breakfast and lunch items is a short two blocks away. Greenwood Gardens, 15 minutes away is a must see (at this time reservations are required). The area is accessible to major interchanges and is 20 minutes from Newark Airport. The owners respond in record time to any questions. At the risk on not having this property available the next time we visit family, we highly recommend the Carriage House.

Peaceful country retreat

We truly enjoyed our stay at Stephen's property. The space (2 bedroom apartment above the garage) was perfect for us. We also had enough room to have family visit. Stephen even provided a pack and play along with a plush animal rocker for our grandbaby! The location is convenient to shopping and restaurants. We hope to stay here again!

Beautiful modern carriage house.

Great place to stay, owner Stephen and his wife were approachable and friendly. This house was central to all we wanted to do and a bus ride from New York City. We would definitely stay here again, I would recommend it to anyone.

Comfortable,well furnished accomadation, in a lovely quiet area can't be beat! Best experience with VRBO yet. Great location for all of N.J. and the N.Y. metropolitan area. Owner was helpful without being intrusive. Nearby reastrants and shopping. I highly recommend this property. Barb

A Warm and Welcoming Oasis

I was moving to New Jersey for a new job and had no idea what I was doing. They gave me just enough time to load my car and drive here. I didn't want to sit in a hotel with my dog while I acclimated to the area and figured out where I wanted to live so I thought I would check on here and see if there might be a spot for me to stay. I had never used this site before, just heard about it from family. I could not have gotten any luckier when I came across the Dremels. They have been the shining light of the move. They took me in and made me feel welcome immediately. MY dog fell in love with them and I never felt like we were a burden. And of course, the house is beautiful and the property is amazing. It’s a great location, close to everything I needed; work, stores, the city. Easy to get to the highways. They even helped me find another place stay when I hadn’t found a place yet but there was another reservation. The stay was a true delight and by far the highlight of my move thus far. Thank you

The original home was removed from the front of the property in 2009. The newly constructed home was built and set on the property to take advantage of natural daylighting, parklike property and natural air flow.

What makes this property unique

The Carriage Home has 10 large windows and loads of natural light. Sunsets views from the Living / Dining Area. This space includes many green building techniques and energy efficient design ideas.
