Very good

Great communication and easy Book a Bach experience. Easily accommodated all our needs with 6 children. Comfortable beds and all round functional accommodation. Would have liked two functioning showers though, as one shower for 8 of us was a challenge. No locks on bathroom doors could an easy fix for privacy and a curtain on the ensuite would be good too.
Lovely private spot, with three decent sized bedrooms and a large lounge/dining as well as plenty of outdoor space. Kids loved the property itself, with lots of surprises to explore like the playground up above the house, little paths and so on. Very central to all the things we needed to get to in Nelson. Good exercise walking up the pathway too. Had everything we needed, including a great television selection if the weather had turned bad.

Easy location to the city
The house has a good location for easy walking access to the city. Tidy, clean home but probably not quite suited for 10 people - there was not enough plates for dinner for us all. Although Craig had mentioned the external access to 4th room, it was a little too separated for our children (even 12 year olds) with no toilet.

Great NZ Bach experience in lovely Nelson
Craig was a very responsive and helpful host who was easy to contact and helped us with our requests during our stay.
Plenty of provisions in the house, especially for the kids, which was well presented and comfortable. New towels were nice and fluffy!
The house needs a bit of maintenance in places and some of cleaning of surfaces such as cupboard doors, door frames and walls, as well as couches could do with a steam clean. The downstairs accommodation is a bit musty and lacks airflow.
We had a lovely stay in Craig’s classic Bach, which is in a good location and provided us with a great spot to create some lovely memories of our time in Nelson.

Nice Private setting close to town
Setting was lovely and private and the house was well equipped but could have been a bit cleaner e.g. fridge and microwave. The location as shown by the pin on map was not accurate. We know the area well and would not have chosen if we had known the exact location but despite that we had an enjoyable stay. Steep driveway and accessibility might be an issue for some.
