First Light is a large contemporary 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom property set over three levels, located a short walk to The Pass and Clarkes Beach and an easy 15-minute walk into town.

The top level of the property features a spacious master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with stunning ocean views from the Juliette balcony. The mid-level features open plan living; dining, lounge area with a cosy wood fireplace, a separate area to sit and relax, and large windows that provide plenty of natural light. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the dining area has a can seat up to eight guests. The living area opens onto a north facing large entertaining deck with breathtaking ocean views.

The lower level of the property includes a rumpus room, two additional bedrooms, bathroom, and a laundry. The large rumpus room is a perfect spot for the younger members of the family to relax and play, and the two bedrooms provide comfortable accommodation for guests.

First Light was a gorgeous home in a beautiful location and a short walk from a stunning beach. It was a pleasant walk along the beach or a short car ride from the main street and was nice to be able to escape the bustle to this slice of paradise. With plenty of space for everyone (8 adults), we enjoyed a memorable family holiday and hope to return.

Excellent property in great location. We experienced a couple of glitches with the internet which turned out to be an NBN problem and not the owners fault but the owner and property manger went out of their way to provide a solution which we really appreciated. Their response was first class and we would like to than them for it. Im sure this was only a temporary issue that would be easily sorted.

Fantastic house in great location.

This house is great for a group holiday of two or three couples. Bedrooms are well separated and lots of communal space for relaxing. Beach restaurant is only a short stroll down the hill. Easy check in and check out. Comfortable beds and great facilities. One thing missing was a vacuum, which would make keeping on top of minor mess much easier.

Beautiful home - perfect for large groups

We loved our stay at First Light. The home is huge and great for groups, with plenty of seating areas and very well appointed. They even supplied beach towels which was a great addition. The balcony has an amazing view, great for a bbq or sitting outside with a morning coffee. The driveway is a bit precarious but once you've navigated it once it is no trouble. Would stay again!

A Perfect Stay at First Light

Wonderful property with a lovely relaxed ambience in a perfect location with great views. Well presented and very clean and loads of parking. Easy walk into town and to the beach. Great living spaces for a large group. Large wardrobe in master suite still has issues with the drawers unable to be accessed. We would definitely stay again

Serene, Open Spacious Airy Property with Good Ocean Views

We were pleased with both the ambience and the space this property offered for a wedding party for the groom & groomsmen. It accommodated all our needs in this regard with most bedrooms for the groomsmen on the lower floor. As the parents of the groom, our area was upstairs in a separate space. Everyone commented on the serene location, close to the Pass and out of the main, busy hub of Byron. Although it is a fantastic property in so many ways I believe it will be soon time for some building updates. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful property, could be kitted out better

This is a fabulous house in a great location with beautiful views. It's really stunning. We saw whales in the bay every day from the front porch. It did, however, have little quirks that indicate that no one has ever lived in it. For instance, it didn't have a coffee maker, the plates don't fit in the dishwasher and in the master bedroom, there is a huge walk in closet but the doors don't open enough to access any of the drawers. Overall, it is a great place. With a few improvements, it would be truly awesome.

Thank you for your feedback and great to hear that you got to see whales from the house, First Light sure offers great views of the Bay. Sorry for the confusion as there is a Delonghi Nespresso, coffee plunger and expresso stove top at the property. We also have our maintenance man looking at the sliding doors in the main bedroom and he will give the house the once over for any other issues.

The Perfect Haven

We can't thank you enough for the opportunity to enjoy everything First Light has to offer. A carefully thought out paradise that has space, light, beautiful furnishings and artwork, and all the practical bits that make it a home away from home (but so luxurious, and oh! what a view!) Private but so close to everything. We thought it looked amazing online, but photos will ever do it justice, the light and space is amazing. Thank you for having us. We will be back. CM

Spectacular!

First light is a stunning property in the most perfect location in Byron, and has all the modern conveniences you could ask for. The property is incredibly spacious with 3 distinct living areas with beautiful master suite upstairs that has a little balcony perfect for morning and sunset meditation or cup of tea. The main living area has a huge deck, where we spent most of our time and saw about 15 whales jumping out at the pass. Balcony would a great for yoga if we'd brought our mats! Kitchen has a stunning view and everything you need. Another area downstairs, only feedback for families this deck doesn't have a fence so could be dangerous for kids. The house is just steps from the pass, it's 15-20 min walk into town and right on the walking path to the lighthouse. The house came stocked with kindling for a fire, which we had 2! The real estate at Byron luxury homes were so helpful and allowed us a check out at midday, which enabled one last swim! I will definitely be back to this amazing property!
