About this property

Family-Friendly Home ~ Small Town Surrounded By Mountains ~ Near Holloman AFB

The master bedroom/ has a queen size bed and TV, the 2 additional bedrooms have full size beds. The fenced in back yard has a fire pit, gas grill and a patio table with 4 chairs. Central air, WiFi and cable are included. Linens, towels/washcloths, cooking and dining ware provided. There is a TV in the living room. The dining table seats 6. There are no high chairs available. No food is provided. The laundry room has a washer and dryer.

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets under any circumstances.

Holloman Air Force Base is 15 miles to the West. Nearby attractions include Space History Museum, Alamogordo Zoo, White Sands National Monument, Oliver Lee State park, Rails to Trails Hiking in the Sacramento Mountains. Just a 50 mile drive on Highway 70 is the resort town of Ruidoso which offers horse racing and hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. The Inn of the Mountain Gods has a casino for those that like to gamble and a zipline.

Carol's home was spacious and comfortable for our group of 4. Her kitchen was well stocked and she left some snacks that my boys appreciated after a long drive. The garage was also spacious and kept our black car cool. She also provided saucers and wax which was perfect for sledding at White Sands. We highly recommend her home for a stay in the area.

The condo was very clean with a fully functional kitchen they really have everything you could need. Lots of extras for a fun family day out like coolers and sleds for White Sands National Park.

We loved our stay! It was the perfect location for visiting White Sands (and they even had sleds you could use). The check in/out process was easy and Carol was very friendly and helpful with any questions. The snack basket was a pleasant surprise my daughter loved! The property is very clean. We loved the food suggestions on the fridge and visited many of them. This place has thought of everything! Highly recommend staying here!

Great spot in Alamogordo!

We really enjoyed this house and our stay here. Very clean and comfortable, beds were great. The house has everything you need - including filtered water, coffee/tea, snacks, big TV and awesome AC! We had one issue and Carol was super responsive. Highly recommend if you are in Alamogordo.

Quiet & Comfortable Home in Alamogordo

Our family of 4 enjoyed the clean, quiet spacious and comfortable house. It was well equip with a variety of complimentary snacks, Keurig coffees, teas, condiments for cooking. It was a convenient location for visiting White Sands and there were sleds in the garage for us to use on the dunes. We highly recommend this property when staying in Alamogordo.

We didn't spend a lot of time at the home, sinxe I was in town visiting family. But, it was a very peaceful and nice home to spend our nights in. It was wonderful having a garage to pull into and walk into the house easily. Would definitely stay here again.

Temporary home during PCS

Holloman AFB didn’t have TLE availability when we moved here. Stayed here for a couple weeks and it was great. Carol was very accommodating and made my transition here a lot less stressful. Definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful stay here. The home is in immaculate condition and is most comfortable. Air conditioner works great. Nice little back yard. I felt cozy like I do in my own home. Snacks left for my family to eat. Two nice tvs for evening entertainment. It was the best!

Amazing rental!

Needed a place to stay until our house was ready to move in and I couldn’t have picked a better place! It’s a duplex but didn’t hear any renters next door when I knew people had arrived! Nice area close to town for travel convenience! Amazing renter quick to reply and help when my husband locked the keys in the house as well!

The house was exactly as listed, it is a clean and comfortable home. It was a great place to relax after our busy days, I was also able to sleep well as it was very quiet. I was thankful that we had a garage to park in and lock. The area isn't bad but it's a mix of homes and businesses. It was often dark when we returned from our excursions, so I was happy to have the garage. I would definitely return.

Easy stay

We stayed in December 2019. The home was clean and comfortable. We didn't do much other than sleep, but we're did use the laundry and no complaints there. Be sure to bring your toiletries. Cons: no king sized bed, master bed is really noisy, on a pretty busy street. Pros: filtered water, lovely home, nice back patio, quiet bedrooms, easy checkin/ checkout, garage provided, very spacious home. We would stay again. :)

An Unforgettable Family Getaway Amidst Natural Wonders!

We loved our stay at this Alamogordo, New Mexico VRBO! The cozy property had a relaxing atmosphere, with well-maintained interiors in neutral tones. It offered amenities like popcorn, sleds, coffee, a fire pit, and a grill. The highlight was sliding down the stunning White Gypsum Sands nearby. We also enjoyed visiting Pistachio Land, exploring orchards, and savoring treats made from fresh pistachios. Although minor improvements like a queen bed and a small front patio roof repair would enhance the experience, we highly recommend this exceptional VRBO. Thanks to the hosts Carol and Michael for their warm hospitality. We're excited to plan our next visit!
