What an amazing property and surroundings. We had a great time seeing a few local sites. But, more importantly it was being able to relax in the beautiful house and farm that Brenda and Steve provide for their guests. The breakfast treats left for us were delicious, and the farm walks made our stay. We plan to go back. Thank you so much, your accommodation is outstanding.

It was an absolute pleasure hosting such a positive fun-loving group of friends!!
This house is absolutely perfect. Every detail is done with the utmost care and highest quality. The property is amazing. We enjoyed hiking the trails, seeing the sheep, and eating the fresh grapefruit from the trees. The hosts could not have been nicer. Overall a fantastic experience.
The house was lovely so cosy but modern. It was clean and tidy and the extra touches like the snack box and extra goodies in the fridge was great! The beds were comfortable. It was a great place to relax and unwind. They had spare gumboots of various sizes for walks on the farm, torches, play equipment for the children. The veiw was fantastic ( bush clad hill, with paddock in between). Definitely recommend to stay here!!

It was our absolute pleasure hosting your family! Thanks for staying at Cone Hill Farm
Looking for something special, tranquil and relaxation then you have found it at Cone Hill.
The property is amazing. Modern with every gadget and the interior design and layout is at the highest quality. The property surrounded by rolling hills, streams and bush walks just makes you relax. Full of bird life, glow worms at night and amazing sunsets. Put your feet up and read a book on a big spacious deck or stroll through the farm. The Hosts go out of their way to ensure you stay is memorable. Try the home made jams, muesli and yoghurt - its all about the nature and natural living...enjoy as we did.

Thanks so much for your lovely comments. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay!!
Such a great place to stay. The house is perfect for larger families and the property has lots to do as well as being situated in a prime location for trips out to Raglan (15mins), Hamilton (30mins) and Waitomo (1 hour ish).
A great place to relax and enjoy nature as well. Best of everything. Thank you!
We went on a family holiday to Cone Hill and had an amazing time; cannot recommend it highly enough! The house and garden are lovingly put together, with lots of thoughtful touches, and in an idyllic location. We did all the walks through their property, paddled in their river, and did lots of activities in and around Raglan which is an easy drive away. Was easy and safe for little kids who loved to see the farm dogs at work. Brenda and her family were very helpful and communicative. All in all we loved it and highly recommend!
This place was exactly what we needed for our family Christmas break. It’s so spacious and really comfortable, definitely felt like a retreat.
The kitchen is well set up. We really appreciated the little extras, like the homemade muesli.
It’s been thoughtfully put together, even the bathroom cupboards have things that you’ve probably forgotten to pack.
We had our two year old with us and while we had to make sure someone always had eyes on her outside, it was the most relaxed we’ve been able to be away from home with her. It’s definitely family friendly. The bush walks are a great activity for everyone.
We’ll absolutely be back.

It was a pleasure having your family stay at Cone Hill Farm! See you next time.
Awesome property, great communication and information given. My only comment is that the driveway needs a marker for finding it at night as it is easy to miss in the dark and bad weather.
What a beautiful place to stay! Away from the hustle and bustle of city life, yet close enough to drive to local cafes/shops/restaurants etc. the farm was in such great condition, lovely gardens to play/relax and look out onto. House inside was just as lovely. Farm animals an added bonus for kids. Walks on the property also a bonus, and a great adventure.
Added extras thought of by hosts - gumboots to use, as well as complimentary snacks and breakfast things. Toys for children too. Makes all the difference! Not sure if these things were mentioned previously, which would have been nice to know. But a nice surprise to arrive to.
Excellent communication from hosts, very friendly too, and helpful.
Comfortable beds and couches.
We will be back! What a wonderful stay.

Thanks for your lovely review - you were a pleasure to host!
When I first saw Cone Hill Farm holiday house, it reminded me of a holiday house we stayed at annually for 10 years until we couldn’t due to the Kaikoura earthquake.
I hoped I would get the same relaxed feeling being away from the city and being on a farm. Cone Hill Farm delivered!!!
The house is superb and the location is fantastic with horses and sheep in the paddocks plus the little puppy Maverick 😁
All the small touches made it a wonderful weekend.
Comfortable beds with gorgeous linen in all the bedrooms plus spare pillows and additional bedding. Plenty of bath towels for everyone.
Well equipped kitchen with a decent sized fridge/freezer.
Beautiful lounge/dining area with a huge dining table that can comfortably seat 12. The additional lounge area just gave extra space so you never felt like you were tripping over people.
Excellent house instructions that included everything you needed to know about the house and the farm walks you could do along with suggestions of activities you can do in Raglan.
A 15 minute drive to Raglan if you needed to go in for supplies, coffee run, retail therapy or to watch the sunset at the waterfront.
Brenda was a dream to deal with and communication with her was easy and clear.
Thanks so much- we will be back!

It was our absolute pleasure having you stay at Cone Hill Farm! Kindest regards. Brenda and Steve.
After a day on a house and garden tour, we felt we had just continued the tour when we walked into this home. Beautifully renovated with lots of extras, we wanted for nothing. Sat outside for dinner, went for a walk over the farm at dusk and woke to Tuis in the bottlebrush in the morning. Loved it!
Our short stay was very refreshing and relaxing. It has a good indoor / outdoor flow and is tastefully furnished and stocked with all the required amenities. In all we enjoyed our time and the hosts kept us well informed. We would definitely want to come back again.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Family of 6, 2 adults, 2 children (3 and 6) and Nana and Poppa stayed for 12 days in this beautiful, relaxing, friendly farm stay. Well set up for adults, couples and children a like. Stylishly and caringly presented. Kitchen well stocked and thought out. Lots of activities and adventures close by for everyone's enjoyment and lots to explore on the farm itself. Would not hesitate to recommend this gorgeous holiday home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Dove Hill Farm and would love to return. The property is in a magic location. There is lots to explore on the farm but it is also a short drive to some excellent coffee and a swim. A big thank you to our hosts for their thoughtfulness and care.
A wonderful stay at Cone Hill. Everything you need for a break. Beautiful outdoor area for walks, seeing animals, outdoor games and BBQ. Lots of space and comfortable beds. Great space for relaxing with friends. They also had it beautifully set up with toys and games for our kids to play with. Certainly something for everyone!
Absolutely loved it. Thanks so much!

It was a pleasure to host you. We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay.
Lovely setting, made even nicer with the spring flowers just starting to bloom.
Extremely well equipped plus the decor looked like it had been done by a brilliant interior designer. Very comfortable, excellent hosts who were very accommodating making the stay most enjoyable.
Thoroughly recommend
Like to recommend this very clean and immaculate well furnished comfortable living home to small and large families who are looking for a perfect gateaway.
Very friendly and helpful owners..
The highlight is the scenic river bush walk in the premises itself. Loved the home made muesli which the owners had thoughtfully kept along with basic kitchen food items. Overall highly recommended stay.
Thank you
Cone Hill Farm was a lovely place to spend the night - the house is beautifully done and there are lots of thoughtful touches. It was warm and cosy, well equipped and is in such a pretty setting. We only wish we'd booked a few more nights. Brenda is great to communicate with, was very helpful and the whole process was very smooth. Thanks for the lovely stay :)
Our stay at Benda’s property was amazing, it went well above our expectations. The attention to detail and extra touches made this one of the best rental properties I have stayed in. Brenda was a delight to liaise with and was super friendly, we even got to meet and feed their pet lamb, Hollie! The location was perfect, it was a little drive out of raglan but not too far and was so peaceful. I would recommend anyone to stay at Brenda’s place if you are going to raglan. We are planning our trip back already!

What makes this property unique
Cone Hill Farm is very unique as it has its own beautiful native bush with tracks for guests to enjoy. There are a range of tracks to suit fitness levels. A river runs right through the farm and around the homestead, there are glow worms along the main bush track which can be enjoyed in the evening. Guests are also able to walk up the iconic Cone Hill and engrave their name when they make it to the top!
