This was our first time in Ko Olina and staying at the Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club was a perfect way to end our 3 weeks in Hawaii. The resort in amazing, the room was lovely and the amenities offered everything we could want. Definitely would love to return!

Great property, but confusing booking process

The property is beautiful. Grounds are immaculate. We stayed in a studio. The kitchenette has a microwave, a small fridge, toaster, rice cooker and a few plates and glasses. No stove or oven. The property had grills with utencils. The lanai is small. Parking in garage is tight. We only had a sedan. I cant imagine parking an SUV or minivan, but many people did.This is a time share property and you will asked several times to go to the welcome center to get a gift.Booking with this owner was confusing. I requested a week that said was available, then recieved a messege that he only had a "mountian view" at a higher price. I had to insist a new listing with the details of what I was actually booking, which he did after many times going back and forth. I would encourage this owner to have accurate listings and availability. It seemed like some false advertising at a lower price you could never actually book.

Great location for a family

The resort was great. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Loved that parking fees were included. The room had an odd smell upon arriving but after some ventilation, it went away. Would book again!

Marriot Koolina Beach Club

This is the second year I have booked a studio at Marriot Ko’olina. The studio was a complete disappointment and I went down to the front office to tell them that there were hair and sticky stuff on the night stand. The whole studio smelled and so after a long flight from the mainland I had to wait to be switched to another room. This new room the ac was not working properly and I again called down stairs. There were so many problems . They did compensate me for the trouble however, I was so fed up that I booked another room at another hotel and left 4 days early. I don’t think I will book another studio here.

Great experience and property

The location is beautiful and you get access to all of the amenities. Check in process was smooth. Room was supposed to be ready at 4 but wasnt ready until 5. However the front desk gave us a $100 room credit for the inconvenience. Very well taken care of.

It worked

The property was amazing, plenty of activities and swimming options to choose from on site. We had so many activities off property so we were not able to utilize all of the activities on property. Our unit only had a Kitchenette so we didn't have many items to cook with (we did have a rice cooker, microwave, toaster, coffee/tea and table setting for 2) but the grills helped with cooking, but didn't have any cookware to bring stuff out to the grills. Plus the "greater" Ko Olina property has many great options for walking, food and activities. Also you have a short car ride to Target, Costco, WalMart & Safeway and other restaurants if needed and my new favorite store ABC.
