The house is so close to everything yet it’s nicely secluded with beautiful views of fields and horses. It’s not a new house but it has everything you need and was well equipped. Hosts are incredibly nice and communicative. Would stay again for sure!!
Great place in the country. We loved it. We came for a graduation and it accommodated our party perfectly. We loved the setting, the horses and the view of the pond.
Beautiful property views in a great private location!
We loved our stay at this home! It was perfect and quaint for our needs. The back deck views in the mornings/evenings were one of our favorite things! As well as getting to visit the horses out in the pasture. The property was fun for the kids to run and play. The kitchen and home was well stocked with anything we could need and Mike was also nice enough to buy a 9x13 baking dish we needed to use while we were at the home. He so nice and very attentive, we would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!
Couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay as a base for a couple of days wine tasting. My 2 yr old daughter loved the outdoor space and the animals and we were able to cook evening meals—the kitchen have everything we could have needed.
We did some wine tasting off of Pepperbridge Road and this was a nice stay close by. We loved how quiet it was and the amazing views of the pond, ducks, and horses. We would love to come back in the summer!
We spent the weekend wine tasting on the South side and this property was close and a wonderful place to come back to and relax on the deck looking at the scenery.
We had a lovely stay during the Spring Release weekend! This is the most thoughtfully appointed vrbo we've ever rented. It has everything...even carrots to feed the horses!
Thank you!!
The house had everything we needed and more. Nicely decorated home located in a quiet area. It was just the two of us. We traveled to the area to experience the wine country which did not disappoint. Thanks!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was convenient to things we wanted to do in the area. The house has wonderful views off the back deck and the inside of the house is very well thought out. We loved feeding the horses and realized that is why there are carrots in the fridge. Outside needs a little sprucing up and if you have people with limited mobility, the side door entrance near laundry works better than the front door.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tum A Lum. The house was neat and tidy but the best part of the stay was sitting on the deck looking at the pastoral scene behind the house. Very relaxing and easy to get to where ever you are going. Try Mongato Winery in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, not too far from the house. A beautiful drive and great wine. We recommend this property.
We had a wonderful stay at Tum-a-lum. What a perfect location for outings to Walla Walla and local winerys. Such a beautiful and peacful setting. The house was spotless and so well stocked! We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck and just relaxing, enjoying the fields and horses. Mike was very communicative and quick to respond to any questions I had. We will definitely be returning!

Comfortable and peaceful
The Tum-a-lum guest house is comfortable and well equipped. We had everything we needed. Be aware however, there are NO vineyard views. There are 3 rows of untended vines that are not reminiscent of a vineyard. Also the cottage was not ready at the posted check in time and we weren’t notified when it became ready an hour later. That said, it is a peaceful setting and there is lots of outdoor space.
Had the best time at the Tum a lum guest house. Very close to walla walla and all of the incredible wineries!
We have Sandy and Emery from The Q firewood and grill cook dinner for us. It was such a wonderful experience and time. We mostly wanted to get away from actual life and hangout and visit and not worry about a thing! And that’s exactly what happened at the Tum a Lum guest house.
Everything was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be back for more wine and more food!
We had such a wonderful time! The home was clean and tidy with all of the supplies needed to cook in during the evenings. The location and proximity to the wineries and downtown Walla Walla was great. The best thing was the back patio overlooking the property filled with huge trees, barns and adorable animals....cows, horses, geese with their newly born babies, and frogs. We spent many hours hanging out with these gems. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend!! The pictures do not do the grounds justice....it is stunning.
This house was well laid out for our mixed family group. It is decorated very cleverly with attractive and useful pieces, like the coat rack and the container full of blankets and the electric fireplace. Our only complaint was the oven did not heat up to roasting temperature and cook well, but we made out okay. We all loved the white plates, and there were plenty of them. The outdoor space is terrific, and with better weather we would have used it more. We would definitely come back again.
