Welcome to Magnolia!

Nestled in a quiet pocket, just a short 200 metre stroll from the Skenes Creek Beach.

This two-storey property is well appointed for the budget conscience holiday seeker looking for value for money. The 1st level features a well-appointed kitchen with dining area, lovely spacious living area with LCD & DVD, reverse cycle A/C, gas heating, main bedroom (queen) and main bathroom with separate shower, toilet & vanity.

The deck area also has a BBQ with table and chairs with ocean views. There is selection of games and books for the whole family to enjoy.

The ground level offers the 2nd bedroom (bunk), spacious laundry with separate shower and toilet all with polished concrete floors.

The property also offers a large fenced yard where your family/pet can enjoy the outdoors with parking for 2 vehicles. You may like to take a short 2 minute drive to Chris's Beacon Point Restaurant where you can enjoy panoramic Otway and ocean views while enjoying fine dining.

A short 6 km drive will see you in Apollo Bay where you can take advantage of one of the many cafes/restaurants that dot the foreshore, venture into the super markets to stock up on all the essentials, enjoy a meal/drink at one of several hotels, while you are here, take advantage of the pristine Apollo Bay beach, indulge yourselves in the retail outlets featuring unique giftware/clothing and then returning to your little piece of paradise.

Staying at this property it was evident the property was not clean. The shower had used soap toilets and showers were not clean. The cleanliness was not at a good standard; dirt, dust, grim and dog hair all over the house. I would like to not leave a terrible review online, i would like to give the owners a second chance opportunity to show me the property at cleanliness standards. My suggestion is a couple of nights complimentary on my next booking. I would much prefer to give the owners a second chnace rather than automatically leaving a very honest and daming review. Great spot, nice house to see a beautiful part of the world.

- There were no photos of the second bedroom (fully grown adults using a bunk bed was uncomfortable). - Previous renters must have had dogs in the house (wasn't cleaned or swept properly). - Lights in bedrooms needed changing (should have been done before we got there). - A vacuum would have been a good inclusion. - Overall a good stay in a nice house.

Comfortable retreat with ocean views

A lovely spot close to the beach, pet friendly and well equipped for cooking. Unfortunately the sleeping accomodation did not work well (beds very small and uncomfortable) and the lack of wifi and TV reception was challenging. However we enjoyed our stay overall as we love Apollo Bay and the Otways.

Couches smelt old. Downstairs is a dungeon. Only 2 toilet paper rolls. Bed cheap and nasty. Very old and needs. Someone’s shoes downstairs. Never coming back

We enjoyed our stay in this basic, but comfortable, beach house. It was very quiet, close to Skenes Creek beach, and had a well fenced yard to accommodate our dog.
