A view from almost everywhere!

The property has everything we needed. A short walk to the beach, general store and pub. Beautiful scenery with ocean views and wildlife.

Beauty and the Beach

Such a beautiful outlook for sunny days. We had some bad weather so relaxing around the fireplace was amazing. Such a beautiful area to explore. Also, try the Indian restaurant in Lorne - amazing!

Peace and Quiet

Our long weekend at Wye River was very enjoyable. The location of Trouvaille is excellent, affording you some lovely views of the beach and headland. It has great access to the beach, and foreshore and even though it is an uphill climb to get back to the house, it isn't too strenuous if you come via the dirt road behind the Surf Club. The house itself was well appointed, with plenty of oven proof dishes and saucepans, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The fact that there was a coffee machine was a huge highlight for my husband, so he is very keen to go back. We did light the fire every night we were there, as it just adds such atmosphere to any stay, and there was plenty of wood, kindling and fire starters. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay, and gave us an opportunity to explore another lovely spot along the Great Ocean Road.

Excellent property

This is a large well appointed brand new house which is very close to all that Wye has to offer. Just 3 minutes from the Beach, Store and Pub. A very enjoyable stay!

Excellent outlook and accomodation

Peaceful Wye River...a lovely house in the trees overlooking the water. Magnificent views, extremely comfortable, clean & cosy house with all the amenities for a quiet family getaway. Elevated so steep access to beach...but the price you pay for an ocean view away from the hustle and bustle. Felt like coming home.
