Offered by Villa de la Vista - Ocean front Villa at Tabor & Harmony Estate - One bedroom air conditioned studio, 260 sqft living area, large closet. Updated kitchen. Sleigh bed. Bathroom with tiled shower. Currently furnished with one queen bed. Mexican terrazzo tile inside and out. Gated off-street parking. Half mile walk up Harmony Drive to Safari Taxi and VI Tran bus access. Quiet neighborhood. Constant breezes. Private entrance. Grill steaks on large (670 sqft) private tiled deck (half-covered, half-sunny). Studio has nine & ten foot ceiling with fan. Fall asleep to the constant symphony of ocean waves and wake up to the view through sliding glass doors out across the Atlantic to the horizon - framed by Great and Little Hans Lolik, Great and Little Tobago, not to mention Thatch Cay, Yost Van Dyke, Tortola and St. John to the east. Villa is roughly 200' above sea level. Washer/dryer for guest use, dedicated 100/10 mbps Internet from cable modem, in-unit Wi-Fi, cable TV. Villa de la Vista rests on a 3 dimensional, 1.5-acre pie-shaped lot. The sea has taken a few bites off the tip of the pie. Channel between St. Thomas and Thatch Kay is used by migrating hump-back whales. Climb/swim/snorkel/kayak/scuba-dive/cliff-dive/fish/boat at your own risk. Signed waivers required for ocean access from villa and use of villa kayaks. Non-smokers only. Comfortably sleeps two in a queen bed. 5 minute drive to Tutu Park Mall. 6 minute drive to Magens Bay. 7 minute drive to ferries at Red Hook. 4 minutes to Mahogany Run golf course. 5 minutes to Jimmy Buffet's new Margaritaville Resort adjacent to Coral World.

The studio was as described. Host was awesome. Quick to answer queestions. We were standed in St. Thomas for 2 extra days and the host was able to extend our stay for those days. This was very helpful.

The house was very welcoming. We appreciated having chairs to be able to carry to the beach and snorkeling equipment. There was also medicine under the counter and other things that are above and beyond an average hotel stay. There was a dehumidifier which was amazingly useful. Everything was very clean.

A little bit of heaven!!

Magical spot up in the hills beautifully overlooking the ocean. A little challenge to locate at first but google maps helped alot!! Great host!!!

Quiet retreat on St. Thomas

Comfortable place with a lovely covered porch for lounging amonst the trees. We enjoyed the quiet location in the shade with a peek of the water, surrounded by vegetation. Saw lots of birds including the black crested hummingbird and a pair of parakeets! Lovednthat it was close to Maygan's Ba

Great Views!

We loved the privacy and the views more than anything and having an eat in kitchen with everything you need made it nice to wake up in the morning’s and enjoy that first cup of coffee on the balcony.

Gorgeous view, very relaxing just sitting out on the patio. Little difficult to find, but easy to get to everything by car. Definitely would recommend renting a car if you are staying here though.

Great place to stay!!

My wife an I recently stayed for two weeks at Villa de la Vista and had a wonderful time. The outdoor space was awesome and has a beautiful view of the ocean and some islands. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. We had a problem with the jeep we rented, but Paul was right there and helped us quickly get another car. I'd definitely stay there again .

Breathtaking view quiet and relaxing

Great location to taxi ride to georgous megans bay with all the quiet relaxation. We basically spent most of our time enjoying the patio for morning coffee ,naps and grilling out. Wonderful hosts. Taxi is definitely the easiest and cheepest way to get around.we got the same driver and he came on all the days and brought us to locations we requested.

Perfect for us!

Place was as advertised. Communication was exceptional. Location is secluded, which was perfect for us. Only sounds at night werethe waves below and the frogs. It is a good idea to arrive during daylight hous as first time navigation could be challenging; however, the location was our favorite amenity. Thank you , Paul for your hospitality. We hope to return again!!

Gorgeous!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The studio was very well equipped and comfortable. It was wonderful to drink our morning coffee and grill dinner on the deck. The view is breathtaking! Red Hook and Lindquist Beach (our favorite) are only a few minutes away. I strongly recommend renting a Jeep. Thank you, Paul and Tetyana, for a lovely vacation!

A Slice of Paradise!

Lovely studio with plenty of privacy! The view was fabulous, I think we spent hours just gazing at the ocean. And at night, we felt like we could touch the stars! The location is within ten minutes of several beaches and the ferry to St John. The studio was EXACTLY as advertised. It had a full kitchen and outdoor gas grill. We were able to cook full meals every night, and eat dinner while watching the ocean. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

My stay was great, close enough to town and far enough for peace. The only suggestion would be heavier curtains in the kitchen and bathroom for more privacy. Overall, even though the owners are right upstairs, you didn't see them much and when you did it was very pleasant. Also, they provide a little welcome package which includes a bottle of champagne! 😋 Nice touch for sure!! Thanks, Juanita

Island home feel

We just spent 4 weeks in this lovely studio apartment. It had everything we needed to work remotely while enjoying St. Thomas. Paul and Tetyana were perfect hosts. They even upgraded their internet connection, allowing us to be on video calls all day while watching the waves crash below us. The north side of the island is best if you are not looking for just cruise ship shops. Red Hook is far better than Charolette Amalie. Coki Beach - 9 mins from the house - was magnificent with grilled shrimp and corn to eat at the beach bar (Catch of the Day). Well appointed studio, including laundry, kitchen plus everything you need for a day the beach. Can’t thank our hosts enough. Hope to see them again soon.

Perfect Getaway in Paradise

Paul and Tetyana were very friendly and accommodating hosts. We stayed in the studio apartment which was accurately described and had everything we needed including beach gear to use during our stay. The views were breathtaking. My wife and I have been married for almost 22 years and we have never been anywhere quite so beautiful. I walked down to the water with Paul and his family which was a little adventure in and of itself. I'm not sure how far we'll go but we are actually contemplating moving to the islands. If you're second guessing making this trip, don't. Just book it and consider staying at Paul's place. You won't regret it.

Exceptionally Excellent

Hubby and I stayed at this Amazing Cottage for 16 days for our 40th Anniversary, it was phenomenal! Paul outdid himself with this secluded location.. When I tell you this Private place has EVERYTHING, it DOES! Believe you me, THIS IS THE SPOT!! The only set back is that there’s no Smart television therefore you’re subjected to just basic television. A DVD or A Smart TV with perhaps a firestick would be super nice for entertainment. Apart from that, Paul is the BEST HOST PERIOD!! We plan to return before this year is out and hopefully, this Majestic place will be available for booking our stay!! Thank you Paul for accommodating us for 3 more days when our flight got cancelled due to the weather! Hubby and I hope to see you soon! Best Regards, Mike and Karen D

Great location, secluded yet not very far from beaches, restaurants and bars

It was a studio with a large private deck. The view of the ocean and Thatch Caye from the deck was amazing. You can hear the waves crashing at night. We did not get to kayak because the water was a little rough during our stay. He did walk us down to the water which is down a steep small path and offered to help us launch the kayaks from the rocks if we wanted. Most of the stay was private, although a couple of times the child from upstairs wandered down to our deck. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare breakfast and dinners from the groceries we purchased at a store on our way from the airport. We had a rental car and drive from the airport, about a 30 minute drive depending on traffic. I also liked the location because the northeast part of the island is a bit cooler than the rest of the island.
