Ridgemont House - the definition of Caribbean luxury. Sitting high on the ridge overlooking the Caribbean Sea on one side & the Atlantic on the other, the 1.8 acre compound has truly spectacular views of our neighbouring islands.

The prestigious location, expansive plot & amenity-packed property might mean you don't need to venture out much, but 2 white-sand beaches & a handful of beachfront bars & restaurants are all within 5-10mins.

LIVING AREAS:
The main house contains the formal vaulted living room and dining room. Packed with light & air, it features panelled ceilings with fans and six sets of 9' high French doors that open to the terrace running along three sides of the very spacious Great Room. The view from here is simply stunning. You can enjoy the game on the 60" flat screen TV or your music on the Sonos sound system from the ample supply of squashy sofas. The glass dining table offers an indoor dining option, although we think you're going to want to go outside for that...

The Great Room opens into the fully equipped kitchen appointed with quartz counter tops and high quality Viking cooking appliances. You'll find everything you need here for self-catering, more than enough workspace and a central island/breakfast bar with high stools for enjoying quick bites to eat.

An air conditioned office located off the Great Room allows for a discreet conference call or a bit of work, if you must. Wifi is available throughout the villa -just bring your own laptop or portable device. An Epson printer is also at your disposal.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
1-5) No arguing over bedrooms necessary, as all five of the luxuriously decorated bedrooms feature high ceilings, large windows and patios or balconies that frame glimmering views of the Caribbean Sea or the Atlantic. Each provides a king-size bed (alternatively up to two rooms can be converted to XL-twins), 40" flat screen television & bluetooth connected sound system. All bedrooms also have newly renovated en-suites and one has a tub as well as shower for washing off a day at the beach.
For maximum privacy, one of the bedrooms offers all the features of a self-sufficient flat, including an eat-in kitchenette complete with stove, oven, microwave and refrigerator.
6)There is a queen-size pullout available in the downstairs office for 2 additional guests (total 12 guests). There is a 6th guest bathroom on the same level as the office for use of the additional guests.

STEP OUTSIDE:
Outside there is more than 2000 square ft of living space. Pull up a lounger and catch some rays on the expansive deck alongside the elegant infinity edge pool, or lounge in the shade of the veranda's comfy and spacious al fresco seating area. The convenient guest bathroom, changing room and shower is also just off the deck. You'll find a large propane BBQ poolside, which is perfect for grilling up a local Anegada lobster and enjoying it from the covered outdoor dining area. The views from here are just breathtaking - looking out along the coastline and across to Jost Van Dyke and its surrounding cays with a gentle ocean breeze is just blissful. It's a really magical spot to sit with friends & family and enjoy a meal together or listen to some music through the Sonos sound system.

To get above it all, head to the colorful gazebo high atop the ridge for a cocktail with friends, or some downtime & a quiet snooze in the hammock. Another incredible viewpoint, this is where I'd be going to watch those famous fiery BVI sunsets lighting up the skies.

❗️NOTE: The estate road that winds its way up to Ridgemont House is fully paved; a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended for navigating the curves.

Words can’t describe!

Our first time in the VBI’s and we hit the lottery with this outstanding home. There are lots of beautiful views in the Virgin Islands but I don’t think any could match the view we woke up to and went to bed with every night. The home was fantastic, comfortable, inviting. Each room had its own special view. The pool and landscaped grounds were were superb. The home and the staff were more than accommodating and efficient, they took time to talk, listen ask questions and anticipate our needs. On a scale of 1-10 it was a solid 15! If I only had one recommendation it would be to add HVAC to the main living area and kitchen. Two of the seven days we had good trade winds to cool those areas, but the other five days if no breeze it could get quite hot. 10 steps away was a cool pool to offset it. We plan to return again next year and possibly make it an annual family vacation destination. We had eight adults, two couples and the rest singles and we had more than enough space for togetherness or private quiet space. It’s definitely the perfect island home!

Incredible Place

We had an awesome time at Ridgemont. The views were amazing. The bedrooms were spacious with great views. The kitchen was stocked well and had all the comforts of home. We will be back.

Wonderful and luxurious stay in the BVI

The best vacation rental I have ever stayed in. We had a group of 8, and everyone was comfortable in their rooms. The estate is well kept and the house was spotless clean. The staff was top notch and extremely friendly! I highly recommend staying at this beautiful mansion! Thank you Sharlene, Sam, Wendy and my new friend Eric!

Beautiful home, amazing views. Great layout for multi-family

We really enjoyed our stay. We've stayed at many upscale homes and I think we all agree that the layout and pool for this one is the best. Great layout, ideal for finding places to gather as family or find a spot by yourself with amazing views and tropical breezes. We ate multiple times at the outdoor dining table with the pool on one side and the sea on the other. Big, big island in the middle of the kitchen so it didn't get cramped even with 6 or 8 of us wandering around. Pool was delightful and the landscaping lovely (even though completely outclassed by the view). Nice Sonos sound system for some ambience music. Kitchen does not have AirCond, so can get quite hot in the summer months, and if it was my home, I would upgrade the wifi to satellite and mesh to improve coverage in the house and throughput, as it was a bit flaky. Each bedroom has it's own AirCond, which worked very well. Three weeks since our stay and I can see the beautiful view of Jost van Dyke in my minds eye.

🏖️ 🛒 💃🍴CANE GARDEN BAY (15 MIN DRIVE)
Cane Garden Bay is a hub of nightlife with plenty of places to eat, drink and be merry. To name a few, there’s Indigo House, Myetts, Elm’s Beach Bar, Paradise Club and Quito’s Gazebo for eating and drinking right on the beach. Many of these also have live music nights and fun events. Bobby’s Marketplace has all the essentials for stocking up on groceries.
For beach activities, there’s plenty of beach bars you can rent a lounger from (or just setup on the sand). The water is calm and clear and underfoot is sandy so it's an excellent place for swimming. If you're feeling adventurous, there is a shipwreck a very short swim out from the North end of the beach which is great to check out with a snorkel. There are also jet skis, paddle boards and kayaks which can be rented along the beach. Callwood’s Rum Distillery is a great place to check out to see a local family business that has been running for over 200 years and to try some of their delicious tipples. *all these amenities mean that the cruise ship passengers come here so check out the BVI cruise ship schedule first.
