For the Brave And Adventurous! Sleep and relax in an 19’ Tipi with wood floor, very comfortable double bed for two. There is also a love seat that folds down into a twin bed.
I lived in the Tipi for a couple of summers, & I stayed warm, dry, and very comfortable, even in the most wicked of rain and wind storms.
For your convenience, a kitchen gazebo which houses a stove, cooking supplies, french press for making coffee, silverware, plates, mugs and bowls. Microwave, fridge, a place to do dishes.
Off to the side of the kitchen is an additional spot to relax with lounge chairs and umbrella.
The latrine has a compostable toilet, a sink with hot h20. And last but not least, a shower with hot h20.
The Tipi is located on the edge of the small town of Gallatin Gateway, A mere 1/2 block from the Gallatin River. Although it's located in town, it's quite private with a fence that separates the house from the Tipi. The Tipi is very private and cozy. Simply a great stay at a great price.
The physical address is 188 Lynde St. Gallatin Gateway.

About the host
Hosted by Gwen Allen
I grew up in Bozeman Mt. Kindergarten through university, I have also lived in Kalispell Mt., birthplace of my oldest daughter. I spent 4 glorious years in Paradise Valley Mt. and also resided in Castle Rock Colorado where my other two children were born. I love spending time close to nature, so I set this Tipi up this summer and lived in it myself all summer. I am now residing in my house and sharing the Tipi experience with you!
Why they chose this property
I moved to Gallatin Gateway because I just wanted to live a less hectic life, and living just outside of the Bozeman donut has provided me with a quiet country living yet close to city life. The property is located on an acre of land so I have plenty of space for a house and Tipi living . The Tipi, gazebo and compostable toilet is private and is separated from the house by trees and distance.
What makes this property unique
I love the space and freedom this area allows. There are two tipis on the acreage , horses next door and the night time sky is incredible. You can even hear the Gallatin River from the TiPi, which is just yards away. A short walk will take you to the river, great food and entertainment, biking and walking around this quiet, community is really special, and quite private.
