Newly Renovated Villa Minutes Walk to World Famous Dickenson Bay Beach

Our newly renovated secluded air-conditioned villa can be considered your 'home away from home' and is the ideal location for your exclusive Caribbean getaway. We have designed and decorated Sunset Villa to be comfortable and welcoming with all of the amenities of a hotel, without the hotel price! The large windows and two large balconies flood the villa with light and provide front row seating to the Caribbean's most incredible sunsets.

The bedrooms have been recently upgraded with high-end Queen-sized beds outfitted with luxurious memory foam mattresses. The kitchen has been completely remodeled with high-end Italian appliances and lots of counter space.

Sunset Villa is located near some of Antigua's best restaurants and entertainment. We are also a few minutes drive from Cedar Vally Golf Course, the largest and most popular golf course on the island.

At Sunset Villa, we pride ourselves on impeccable service, which includes:
Organization of rental cars at discounted rates and any other pre-planned requests, a knowledgeable, helpful guide to help you with any additional needs.
Unfortunately, we no longer offer transportation to and from the airport.

Wow this is Paradise ! The views from the two terraces have Million Dollar Views!. The 2 bed villa is huge and just a 5 min walk from the beach. The people who look after the villa are Carol who answers the emails very well and promptly and Trevor who is an absolute god send, who looks after the property and any issues, he is an absolute legend. We will definitely return.

Excellent property! Antigua locals are naturally kind, and Trevor definitely was that on check-in & check-out! He helped with the bags and provided clear checkout instructions the night before. The view is amazing!! We spent every night and morning on the balcony and I even led my family in a little yoga session on the top top and used the ocean for my 'front of the room' cues. I would definitely stay again, thank you!! Oh and the restaurant across the street, Bella Vista, is beautiful with yummy food!

Wonderful break!

We had the most incredible stay at this property. Every question was answered super speedily by Carol and Trevor. The views are what this property is all about. The sunsets from the terrace are second to none and we raced back every day to make sure we didn’t miss it. It was very homely and we immediately felt comfortable. Fantastic value for money, especially compared to the hotels in the same area. We can’t wait to stay again. Thank you!

Dickenson Bay Sunset

We had an amazing stay at this vacation home! The views of Dickinson Bay were absolutely stunning, and the sunsets were beyond beautiful—definitely a highlight of our trip. The host made everything so easy, responding promptly to any questions we had and ensuring we felt well taken care of. The location was perfect—close to the beach, grocery store, and restaurants, which made our stay even more convenient. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, and we loved being able to prepare food and enjoy it with that gorgeous view. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Lovely location

The view was wonderful and the living space was as nice. Updates appliances and the AC worked very well. The kitchen was stocked so we were able to save money cooking during our stay. The beaches are close by. We hit the beach the very first evening. Will stay again.

Antigua vacation

We stayed here for 10 days. Lovely views. Close to Dickerson beach and many great restaurants. Home had an odd layout, with living room on one end of house, with bedroom between living room and kitchen. ( We didn’t even use the living room) most of our time was spent out on the patio. Home was clean, beds comfortable, and kitchen was well equipped. Carol was very easy to communicate with. Trevor was great, was there when we arrived at the house and explained everything thoroughly. More than we expected

Spacious and beautiful accommodation overall. The 3rd room exceeded our expectations as it is a living room that is the size of a full apartment minus a kitchen. Any issues we had were quickly attended to. We did think the walk to the beach was closer but it was still fairly close and the hill it was on provided the amazing view

Week in Paradise #best view

Our Family of 5 had a relaxing stay in Antigua. The villa was well appointed with everything you need to enjoy your time on the Island. Trevor was very helpful and kind. He helped arrange a tour outing and suggested many wonderful restaurants and places for shopping. We enjoyed our kayaking tour through the mangroves with the Southern Coast Horizion Conservation group! We also spent many evenings enjoying the Views of Dickinson Bay and gorgeous Sunsets! Morning coffee and pastries from the local Bakery "Dawn to Dusk" on the outside covered porch was just what we needed to start our day! Thank you for helping us enjoy a relaxing and memorable trip!

Paradise found

The location of the property is perfect for excellent views of Dickenson Bay sunsets and is also very close to the beach. There is adequate parking in the shared lot and the beaches are just a short walk or drive. We drove down and were able to find parking once you get used to the Antiguan way! The cottage has everything you will need for a stress-free stay. We used the convenient kitchen every day and found it to be well stocked. The bedrooms are nice and the beds comfy. Trevor, the owner's representative is very attentive and helpful and Carol, the owner, is also easy to get a hold of if necessary. Property is close to several bars and restaurants if you want to stay local. Pizza across the road is excellent.

location ideal

We were very pleased with our stay at this villa. The views are magnificent. Even better than the pictures on the site. The villa was clean and it had everything we needed for our vacation. We could walk to Dickinson Beach and several restaurants by the water. We also walked across the street to Bella Vita for several meals while we were there. The food was very good. You can find enough to do near the villa without renting a car for the week. There are also many tours available if you want to explore the island. If we return to the Villa I don't think that we will rent a car again. Driving can be stressful if you aren't use to driving on the left side of the road. Plus the roads have a lot of potholes.The owner of the Villa, Carol and caretaker, Trevor, are just wonderful to deal with. We felt very welcomed by them both. Trevor is available whenever you need him and makes sure that you are happy during your stay. We feel very fortunate to have been able to stay at this little piece of paradise. Thanks, Linda and Dave

Glorious Stay (despite Hurricane Tammy)

Me, my wife and two sons (11 & 13 years) enjoyed a wonderful stay in Oct 2023. Communication with Carol and housekeeper Trevor was first rate throughout. The house is spacious and well equipped. Its a very short walk down to Dickenson Bay beach but also a short drive to Runaway and Fort James beaches which we frequented. The beds were comfy and air conditioning very effective making for a very relaxed stay. The only slight criticism was the wi-fi which was very weak in the main lounge making it difficult to stream films. However Trevor went above and beyond to resolve the problem and i suspect this won't be an issue going forward. Once again, huge thanks to Trevor and Carol who were very understanding when our flight was cancelled due to Hurricane Tammy and allowed us to stay an extra night without charge. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back some day.

Spectacular view with short walk to the beach

Outstanding views of Dickenson Bay from patio and roof deck . The location is very good with beach only a short walk. Several restaurants are close by. We ate at Bella Vita's, Ana's; Bay House, and Putters. All were good and and reasonably priced. The unit was accurate as shown and described n the listing. It has all the basic amenities except for a dish washer. The place was comfortable. Wi-fi was good. TV / Cable had a wide selection of stations. The décor and furnishings would benefit from some updating. Bed in master was a little firm. Trevor was very friendly. He met us at the rental to show how everything worked. And again to take the the keys when we left. The transaction was seamless.

A week at Sunset Villa is...

A week at Sunset Villa is a week in paradise! My wife and I have visited about 15 islands in the caribbean and this tops them all. The villa is extremely spacious, comfortable, nice stereo to play reggae, and with two porches. We named the upper one "Tre House": it has unbeatable views of Dickenson Bay and always a gentle trade win. Almost slept up there! Trevor is wonderful, helpful and interesting to talk with. Opus Restaurant is right across the street--so convenient and has great fish and fabulous pizza too. Dickenbson beach is 5 mins. walk down the hill and hosts two great beach bars--Tony's and Sneaky pete's. Peter, Dave and Eli are great hosts at Sneaky Pete's. All the watersports you could possibly want to try are right here, and you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas (strongly recommended for the potent sun). Carol has a real gem here and we strongly recommend you make it your home if you pln to visit Antigua. We miss it!

Private view of the Caribbean

We stayed for one week and greatly enjoyed the porch and the rooftop deck views. We got some spectacular sunset photos. The villa is exactly as advertised. The third full bath with shower is a real bonus. We used the kitchen a lot too. FirstChoice grocery store is only a 5 minute easy drive so we went there multiple times. The walk to the beach was easy enough and took about 10 minutes. The beach was not busy during our stay. Our favorite restaurant was Bella Vita, just a minute walk across the road. Our only warning is to plan your driving routes. Google maps tried to route us onto nonexistent roads from the airport; we got lost and Trevor came to the rescue and we followed him back (what a great guy to do that!). It is actually an easy drive if you stick to the main roads. The driving in the region around the villa is easy but I would avoid driving in or near the town of St. John's unless you are super confident with local driving customs. We enjoyed our stay and the villa is a good choice for the independent traveler.
