The Space
The property offers a mix of traditional and modern architecture, with contemporary amenities and a zen front garden with water fountain that is frequently visited by hummingbirds and dragonflies. San Diego’s famously perfect weather all year-round lends itself well to outdoor living every month of the year. The pool patio with deck above a canyon features a large swimming pool, a fire pit with comfortable seating area, landscaping, and a dining table and grill for barbecuing on those many warm Southern California evenings. The house itself sleeps 6 adults in maximum comfort (extra children can also be accommodated with air beds). It offers one master bedroom with King-sized ultra-plush bed and en-suite bathroom (with two person shower) upstairs and two bedrooms (one with medium-firm Queen-sized bed and one with two TwinXL memory-foam beds that can be converted into one true king bed) downstairs. There is a modern bathroom with large jetted tub/shower combination and luxurious European hardware conveniently located between the two downstairs bedrooms. All bedrooms are appointed with high-thread-count sheets, high-end mattresses, and luxurious towels. The gourmet contemporary kitchen features a 6-burner Dacor dual-fuel range, top-of-the-line Bosch dishwasher, microwave/convection oven, large 42" French-door refrigerator and is stocked with plates, glasses, silverware, pots & pans, and anything else that you might need for a meal cooked and enjoyed at home. The dining room table comfortably seats 8 people. We hope that you will enjoy the living room with its modern furniture, a 52” TV & surround sound audio with Cable access, and lovely view of the beautiful pool area (pool can be heated at additional cost). The long driveway along the side of the house can easily accommodate three cars. Additionally there is a washer/dryer hidden in the kitchen. WiFi access throughout the property facilitates 50Mbps internet access.

The home is located on a small street in San Diego’s Hillcrest/Mission Hills residential neighborhood. Hillcrest’s lively, diverse, and eclectic center with countless restaurants and bars is about a 10-minute walk away. We are located 1.3 miles from beautiful Balboa Park with close to 20 museums, gardens, and theaters, 2 miles from the San Diego Zoo, 3.8 miles from San Diego’s famous downtown Gaslamp district with bars, restaurants and shops, 5.8 miles from Sea World, 3.6 miles from the airport, and 6 – 8 miles from some of the city’s most beautiful beaches. The nearest grocery store is less than a 10-minute walk away from the house.
