This quaint, mountain cottage is perfect for a couple’s getaway. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, “Getaway Disosway” is a three bedroom, one bath cottage with two decks, and an outdoor hot tub. Built in 1941, this well maintained property boasts original hardwood floors and a claw foot bath tub. Take a step back in time as you sit by the fire or have dinner in the dining room perfect for a southern spread.

You’ll be amazed at the gorgeous outdoor space “Getaway Disosway” has to offer. Enjoy a barbecue on the upper deck with a gas grill and seating for four. Take a few steps down to the second deck, and relax in the 6 person hot tub. Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch swing, located on the back patio. The back yard is beautiful, and perfect for a blanket picnic. If that’s not enough, there is another outdoor seating area, beautifully landscaped with seating for four.

Black Mountain is a picturesque town full of southern charm. Home to award winning Pisgah Brewing Company, you can sample over twelve different local beers exclusive to Western North Carolina. Enjoy an afternoon of golf at the Black Mountain Golf Club, or a swedish massage at Black Mountain Body Works. “Getaway Disosway” is located five minutes from downtown Black Mountain.

Asheville is located 19 miles from Black Mountain. The Land of the Sky, has several city tours, local breweries, and boutique shopping. Known for the eclectic and fabulous cuisine, Asheville is home to over 50 restaurants with options from sushi to tapas. The Biltmore Estate is a must see- with home and ground tours, wine tastings and horse back riding for two.

Not only is this cabin, beautiful structurally, but you will find yourself like we did,smiling,all the time that you are inside because of the way it is laid out and the decorations. It is truly a special place to stay.

The house was perfect to get away and still less than a mile to the cute town of Black Mountain. Town has a small town feel but all you might need. The cabin was clean and we had everything we needed have a night in. Love the details in the decor, the book of ideas of things to visit, and the host was amazing when we reached out for help with the fireplace. Perfect getaway spot and only 15 miles to Asheville if you want more. Would absolutely go back!!

What a wonderful property. Was close to everything we wanted to do while visiting my Daughter. This property was SUPER clean. We have stayed at many properties over the years, and this one was spotless. Lots of room for us to relax. Outdoor areas were a plus. Our dog loved roaming the yard. We walked the neighborhood, which was very quiet. Host was so nice and was very communicative. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect little place for relaxing. We grilled, used the hot tub and fire pit. The kitchen had everything possible. Perfect location for easy trips to Ingles or into town. And clean! Would 100% stay here again

This perfect home is located close to town and many shops and reataurants yet tucked away on a little hill overlooking the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the rooms were comfortable and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

Great lil place not too far from asheville, me and my friends had a great time staying there. Had a good mix of cabin vibes without leaving us without internet or amenities with a nice mountain view in the back!
