Cute Ohope Beach House

- Only a short walk to the ocean beach or Ohiwa Harbour for safe swimming, boating.
- Cosy Lockwood with modern kitchen, coffee machine. A full section, large deck, peaceful location
- Double garage, good off street parking, separate bathroom, shower room/laundry & toilet

Cute 3 bedroom Lockwood near Port Ohope between the ocean beach and Ohiwa harbour. First time ever listed for holiday rental.

Great for beachlovers, boaties and kayakers. Boat ramp nearby. Lovely area for young families with picnic areas and a playground nearby. At the peaceful end of Ohope but only a 5 minute drive back to central Ohope, cafes and the beach mini mart for more serious supplies. Great terrain for leisurely cycling on the flat or plenty more challenges for the serious cyclist.

The Port Ohope area has many of its own attractions with the Wharf for fishing and the Spit for waterskiing and water fun, and Ohope Golf Club a 5 minute drive. Port Ohope dairy and takeaways close by. The Ohope Chartered Club is only a few minutes drive away offering good bistro meals.

There is also nice takeaways at the Port and a very nice restaurant which overlooks Ohiwa Harbour.

Special conditions: Pets allowed with prior approval - small well behaved dogs only. Couples and Families preferred. This is a peaceful location with permanent residents as neighbours - not party friendly. Not suitable for large groups. No parties.

The rate is based on two people with an additional cost of $30.00 per person/per night for additional guests.

Great place with all the beach stuff available to use. Great location with parking and outside facilities. Ōhope put on amazing weather - we missed air conditioning. Would stay here again.

Relaxing weekend

This was our first time to Ohope and it was lovely to be able to relax and explore the area. The beach house was comfortable and convenient with the coffee machine a hit!

Lovely weekend gettaway

Only got to stay 2 nights, but the house was lovely! Short walk to beach, ohope is stunning whether its sunny and still, or wild and windy. Thank you, David, would love to stay longer next time!

A great little cottage, with everything we needed, albeit a little older in style, especially in the bathroom facilities. The Lockwood construction means the house does creak when you move about, which was a bit of a nuisance at night. Dave was exceptionally helpful as a host

Perfect family bach close to it all in Ohope/Ohiwa

We loved staying at this bach. It had everything we needed to comfortably accommodate our family of 2 adults, 2 university kids and a 3 year old. Quick walk to the beach or the harbour for walks and recreation. Great BBQ and outdoor seating. Short drive into town for supplies or west end beaches and Whakatane for more serious needs. You won't be disappointed.

Wet week in Ohope

Property suited us well, the location to beach is in walking distance and the are area nice and quiet. Weather was average for the week however we did swim everyday. House has full facilities for cooking and washing clothes, the only thing missing would be a clothes horse to hang wet gear as the only line is outside in the rain. Location is close to Warph which is great for jumping off.

Hey there. The bach was great. Few teething problems regarding light bulbs and heating requirements but the owner did his best to accomodate us. Nice and close to beach and plenty of room for myself and my tribe. Would book again. Thanks Dave.

Comfy house in good spot

The house felt very comfy and with everything we needed, in a great spot for both the awesome swimming beach and the harbour, thankfully quieter than the main part of Ohope at a busy time of year. Great communication and information from Dave and very thoughtful small touches not always provided like tissue boxes and a lovely gift on arrival. Good secure storage in the garage and great to have the washing machine and line. We loved our stay and would recommend.
