Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our fourth visit to N. Stradbroke and Allure was our favourite accommodation. We liked the fact that each room comes with its own ensuite which is a prerequisite in selecting an accommodation. The house was clean, furniture and beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and a view to die for. We liked the fact that every room had a handheld vacuum which makes tidying up much easier. It is good to be aware that both the master bedroom and guest room in the main house do not have any solid doors , therefore it’s not too soundproof. The studio has its own separate entrance and you can only access the main house through the front door or through the second bedroom . We will definitely book this accommodation again on our next visit to N. Stradbroke.

Once we found it we haven’t looked further and that’s after staying in at least ten other houses. The view, and how well set up the house is especially in the kitchen makes it a very comfortable house to stay in. Loved that new furniture has replaced worn out pieces. But a couple of negatives, which I hate to state, but such an easy fix to bring up to every area to be five stars!Linen company - the towels are very small and extremely worn. Duvet cover - master - was dirty - had to take it off the bed. Fly screens - if screens were installed on louvre windows you could leave these open once it’s dark. We had to close every door and window or you would have a ceiling full of bugs and mosquitos. As I said very easy fixes, for a house we love!!

This house has the most incredible views and is super modern and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and functional. The bedrooms are great and we loved how the 3rd bedroom is a seperate granny flat. Some of the decor/furniture is a bit outdated but most Straddie places are. Balcony is amazing for a BBQ/sunset drinks. Definitely recommend the Allure House to anyone!

It was amazing to sit at the dining table, in the lounge area, on the deck or even in the bath and take in the sights. Whether it was whales breaching, surfers, dog walkers or other beachgoers, it was a million-dollar outlook. This was a spot worthy of my milestone birthday and we would love to return. It's so great when expectations are exceeded. The home felt really private and relaxed and it had a spacious layout. My teenage son especially liked his own little self-contained area downstairs. Ray White were great to deal with from my initial enquiry to a slight date change and during our stay as well. Thank you!

Reviewer Comments: This is an amazing house with the best views and architectural features on the Island. We have stayed at this property many times over the last 10 years. Unfortunately, things are not what they used to be. The owners have introduced new couches and a new outdoor set which are marvelous additions. The beds are super comfy and a great improvement over the previous ones and the sheets were crisp and clean. However, the cleanliness of the property has significantly declined. Amazing views if you can actually see through the filthy windows, cobwebs all over the house and the dirt and grime in the window sills was disgusting. These are all easy fixes and is really an indictment on the management of the property rather than the property itself which we still love. Sad to see t he quality slipping so badly.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is fabulous. Very clean. Well furnished. STUNNING VIEWS from every room in the place. The only issue was that the home lacks doors on the master bedroom and bathroom. Shutters and curtains were used to close these spaces off instead of proper doors and walls, which meant there was no sound proofing between the master suite and the adjacent living space. There was also no door to the bedroom downstairs. Still, the amazing views made up for the lack of privacy. Overall, it was a great stay.

Great week with friends at North Straddie Island

The property is in a great location (Point Lookout) and has views to die for from all rooms. It is not too far from shops and attractions (e.g. beach), however the walk back up the hill could be a challenge. We were all very happy with the property. Only suggestions we can offer to make the stay even better for anyone: 1) add an aircon and ceiling fans to the dinning/living/kitchen open space in the top floor; 2) improve privacy on the main bedroom in the top level (wall does not go to the ceiling, anyone in the dining room can hear anything from the main bedroom); 3) add curtains to the dining/living/kitchen open space in the top floor; 4) nightstands and lamps in bedrooms would be very beneficial as well.
