Art Deco, ocean-liner inspired beach home in Vero. The Ambersand Beach enclave is on a whisper thin isthmus straddling A1A surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian River, Sebastian Inlet State Park and historic Pelican Island National Wildlife Sanctuary. Ambersand Beach provides a remote island living experience with the nearby convenience of Vero’s great restaurants, galleries and shopping.

Experience the best of both worlds; beach front on one side and the widest section of Indian River just across A1A. The views are incredible. Enjoy decks on the second and third floors with views of the ocean and the river, and finish the day with happy hour on the rooftop deck with the best sunset views on the Treasure Coast!

A 350 foot dock extends into the Indian River Lagoon, with a 20 x 15 Tiki Hut at the end. Enjoy dinner and drinks in the Over-Water Tiki Hut, watching dolphins and manatees while the sun sets.

There are boat rentals nearby, and there are reasonably priced charter captains we can recommend who will pick you up at our dock for fishing or picnic excursions.

The master suite with king sized bed occupies the entire third floor. The suite includes a sitting area, desk, ocean side deck and river side deck. The second floor includes two bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a king sized bed and the other bedroom has one queen sized bed and one single bed. The second floor is the primary living area with an expansive great room. The large kitchen opens to the living room, both of which are surrounded by windows and glass doors opening to a deck wrapping around from ocean to river.

The first floor has a king size bed, en-suite bathroom and a TV. The home sleeps eight comfortably. The first floor opens to the heated pool and spa, a large Tiki Hut and the beach walkover.

The house is great with fabulous sunrises over the ocean to wake you and beautiful sunsets over the river to relax you. It’s high end and luxurious. The host was welcoming and very responsive. They left us a very nice surprise to enjoy our stay even more over New Years. The weather was too cold for us to enjoy all the amenities including bicycles, kayaks, paddle boards, swimming pool, rooftop decks, and gazebo over the river. Nevertheless, we had a great time.

Amazing location. Secluded beach plus the dock across the road. The house is clean and well equipped for our large group. Plenty of chairs and beach toys. Owners were responsive to questions and provided a ton of useful information about the.the house and the area. Saw some turtles!

Rocket launch house

We had the best stay! The house was so clean and we had the beach all to ourselves. The dock was a great place to hang out and we saw dolphins daily. Throughout the week we saw 4 rockets launch and 3 were from the roof of this house. Could not have been any better!

Beautiful beach getaway

Perfect set up for family to gather and spend time together while relaxing on the beach (and river)! The hosts kept open communication in a timely manner and were accommodating to requests. The house is fully equipped with everything needed and offers several “toys” including bikes, boards and fishing gear. Looking forward to returning to this slice of paradise!

Wow! This property is truly a slice of paradise! You have the ocean in your backyard and a river in your front yard. The house is gorgeous and the pool is big. The home had so many items that we didn’t need to purchase from the store. That was a bonus! Another five star rating was the communication with the home owner. I have never had quick response times like this. It was great! We would 100% stay here again.

Family and I were looking for a low key vacation spot within striking distance to Universal Studios. This definitely fit the bill. Pictures don't do it justice. Very Clean. Owners very attentive and just a text away. Great beach with lots of seashell. Waves and surf schools. Nice Restaurants within 15-20 minutes.

Beach Front and Dock on Lagoon

Beach and swimming in the Atlantic and the pool and hot tub behind the house. Fishing off the dock across A1A on the front. We had an excellent Thanksgiving week. Beautiful views throughout. Where else can you get spectacular sunrise and sunsets. Beds were comfortable. Owner extremely responsive to issues and questions. We rented a pontoon boat from Florida Boat Rentals for three days and kept at the dock. One of our favorite VRBO rentals.

Absolute Dream

This home was such a pleasure to be in. Incredible views, so many amenities we wish we had more time to make better use of them all! The space is super clean and well organized, everything is well thought out down to the hose on the walkway coming back from the beach to rinse your feet! The jacuzzi heats up incredibly fast -we loved being able to have a quick warm up soak after a dip in the ocean. 2 weeks later I am still closing my eyes thinking about the view from those deck hammocks and we are all genuinely missing the sound of the waves crashing on the ocean front! Without a doubt the nicest space we have ever rented. The hosts absolutely went above and beyond to ensure our family had a top notch experience. Thanks for having us!!

My wife's birthday was on the 11th she passed almost 2yr ago and I have been trying to get her closes friends and family to get together on her birthday to remind us that it shouldn't be a sad day but a day of laughter and to share stories of her life. The place was more than I expected not just the location, which was breath taking, most days we had the beach to our self's the absolute peacefulness and comfort of the house was just what I needed, they had everything that we needed from towels to kitchens supply's and beach toys and bikes I don't know if we had to pay extra for the weather and the sunsets but money well spent I Highly recommend

Terrific Home, Amazing Communication

The property was amazing. We’ve never stayed in a home that had more to offer. The hosts provided an amazing amount of beach toys/towels. The kitchen was wonderfully apportioned with pots, pans, dishes, and spices. The home was immaculately clean. The element that made the trip standout was the communication with the owner. We had a few questions and the responses were immediate, helpful, and thorough. By far, this was the best interaction we’ve ever had with a property owner. We highly recommend this property and it’s wonderful owners.

Wonderful Spring Break

Our family of five spent Spring Break at Ambersand Beach, and it was a wonderful time. This rental is definitely at the top of the list for best properties we've rented with VRBO. The property is fantastic. It's very well maintained and super clean. The layout of the house is great for both privacy and large gathering space. The views are awesome. The master suite is super awesome. The house is very well stocked, from kitchen supplies and cooking essentials, to toiletries and outdoor gear. The property listing is very representative of what you get in terms of the layout and condition of the home. There is significantly more inventory onsite (furnishings, ammenities, gear, etc) than what is listed in the property description. We loved this property for the fact that it has oceanfront beach, pool and the Indian River Lagoon. We used all three every day! The house was a great size for our family of five. We had plenty of space to have 2-3 more people in another room. The drive to Sebastian or Vero Beach is about 20 minutes for restaurants and stores. No big deal for us...we like the fact that the home is away from busy downtown areas. The property owner is fantastic. He was available and responsive ASAP for a few inquiries before our stay, and the whole time we were at the property. As good as it gets in terms of a property owner that we've ever dealt with on a VRBO. We would absolutely recommend him and this home, and we will for sure consider renting here again.

My husband and I have stayed at quite a few rental properties but this was by far the nicest home we’ve ever stayed in!! Loved everything about it. Such a unique location so you get to enjoy both the ocean and the Indian River, which we did every day. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed, including bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, it was all there. Kitchen was well stocked and bathrooms all had plenty of towels and even soap, shampoo and toothbrushes were available. Great communication with the owners as well. Definitely hope to return.
