EIGHT BEDROOMS, COMPLETE PRIVACY
Eight bedrooms accommodate up to 16 guests, making the residence ideal for family gatherings, wedding weekends, corporate retreats, university reunions, and holiday celebrations.
The home includes five full bathrooms and one powder room. The Master and Library suites each feature private en-suite bathrooms, while the remaining suites share bathrooms between rooms.
The layout is designed to balance togetherness with privacy, allowing everyone space to relax comfortably while remaining under one roof.

We had an excellent time. The place was beautiful and very spacious. The block was in an excellent area of Philadelphia. Check-in was a breeze. Our dishwasher broke, and within one day it was repaired! The host was excellent and communicated with us often.Overall a great place.
This house is truly amazing, it’s large and spacious enough for everyone to spread out and have many different options for spaces to hang out in. Everything was clean and welcoming and we couldn’t have had a better experience. The kitchen was stocked with everyone we needed and the roof deck hosts the best view of the city I’ve ever seen. Robertson was very easy to communicate with and responsive. I wish we could live here!
The house was perfect for our family of 17-19 during our one week stay!! The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to make all dinners at the house. Grocery stores were 4-7 blocks away and had what we needed. We were able to walk to most activities - the Independence Hall area, Museums on Ben Franklin Parkway and so much more. Bathrooms and kitchens have all been updated. The pool table in the main living room was a great bonus and provided lots of fun for all the adults and kids. It’s hard to say what part of the house was best but the last few nights we made amazing g memories enjoying the rooftop deck and watching the sun set and the moon rise. Truly it was magical!
This house is amazing! It was the perfect location for our daughter to get ready on her wedding day. Plenty of places for photo opportunities, hosting bridesmaid brunch, and sleeps a large group. Second living room & kitchen were great for teens to have a hangout spot as well. Definitely recommend!
Wow :). I could not have been happier with my weekend stay and my guests would say the same! The house is huge so there is more than enough room for everyone to spread out. We utilized all of the different seating areas and everyone was so comfortable. The house was fully equipped with anything you would need to entertain a large group and everyone said that the beds/bedding were cozy. We were lucky enough to have great weather so the rooftop was a lovely space to enjoy breakfast and coffee! I definitely want to call out the owners and property manager who had unbelievable communication leading up to and during the stay - truly such a pleasure to work with! A really great walkable neighborhood allowed everyone to explore the city and there’s so many different restaurant options. Only thing I would change is next time will stay a bit longer!
Thank you for making this house available-it was perfect for our group- would definitely recommend it for large family groups. Kids loved their own hangout areas and the rooftop was great when weather cooperated. This location allowed us to walk downtown, to theater, coffee shops, museums and using public transportation was easy and close. Philadelphia was very welcoming and memorable place to visit for whole family!
Our 6 year old grandson, after an 8 hour trip across the country, exclaimed upon arrival, “this place is a mansion, worth the long trip!” Great place for our lively family to enjoy the best of downtown Philadelphia, and congratulations to the new family addition. Cheers, the Perry’s.
Large home and in a fantastic location. We were able to find food late at night within walking distance which was critical after working until midnight and trying to feed 8 hungry fellas. Great, considerate host and plenty of space in this multi-story house!!

Hi Brian, great to hear that you guys enjoyed the house and it’s location. It was great to host you all. Welcome back any time!
This home was gorgeous and comfortable! 14 of us from a family stayed, and there was room to spare for us all. The property is stunning, and the location in Philly cannot be near. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly, too. The next time we need a place to stay in Philly, I know where I am headed back to.

Thank you for the wonderful review and being such gracious guests!
My friends and I are all from the area and we decided to do a Rittenhouse weekend and this was THE perfect place to do it! The house is absolutely stunning and has everything you’d ever want! None of us wanted to leave! Communication was also great and everything was so easy and organized. Would love to stay again!!
Great location. Huge, modern and charming townhome. Wonderful deck on roof. 2 kitchens. plenty of places to gather and talk. Stayed during a heat wave, but house was very cool. Host was very responsive.
This was our second time staying at this property. Excellent service, House was very clean. Lot's of little touches that enhanced our stay such as coffee choices, snacks, soaps and shampoos. Plenty of room for everyone.
Our family rented this house for a local wedding. There are a lot of stairs but that keeps the bedroom suites private and quiet! Very well setup and easy communication with the owner. Lovely kitchen with a great dining room for family dinner. The rooftop is amazing in the evening! Loved it!
This was a great house to have everyone in one place for the weekend. The house is in great shape for being 150 yrs old. Some bedrooms don’t have a closet for hanging clothes but most are larg
We love the home!!! The layout is perfect. We had a baby shower which took place in the parlor room. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed and the butler’s pantry was a welcomed surprise. The dining room is beautiful and felt so cozy. Our family members spent the weekend and all the bedrooms provided ample space. Thank you so much for opening up your home. It is a special place.
Had an amazing stay at this truly special, comfortable and unique property. We were a group of 14. The mansion had lots of room for everyone to have their own space along with space to spend time together. The kitchen was fully equipped, which allowed us to cook breakfast each day along with a multi-course dinner one evening. The location couldn't be better. We could walk to everything!! The street is very quiet and private, yet close enough to all of the Philly action. Highly Recommend!

Built in the 1840s, this nearly 7,000 sq ft home has welcomed guests for almost two centuries, retaining much of its original character including the Grand Parlour that once hosted Philadelphia high society. The home has historical connections to Anthony Drexel, Drexel University, and the early origins of what became J.P. Morgan Chase. We hope you enjoy your stay and become part of the home's ongoing story.
