Bay Side Retreat is a stunning four-bedroom, four and a half-bath home, located in gated community. Only a short walk or bike ride to the calm sound waters of the Gulf or a three block walk to the Gulf of Mexico's famous emerald green waters. This upscale-home offers luxurious wood flooring and granite for your perfect beach vacation setting. Bay Side Retreat sleeps twelve guests comfortably, with a king-sized bed in the master bedroom, queen-sized beds in two of the guest bedrooms, two sets twin/queen bunk beds with XL twin beds on top and Queen beds on bottom in the additional guest bedroom. No sofa sleeper

Dogs allowed (requires approval) - up to 2 dogs, under 50 lbs each with a $200 per dog cleaning fee.

You will fall in love with the soft beach décor and inviting gourmet kitchen. Upon entering, you will be welcomed with the first floor fully-equipped kitchen displaying granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances, along with plenty of storage space and all equipment needed to enjoy your own meals while on vacation. The kitchen opens into the dining area and living room, providing plenty of room to spread out. The living room features matching furnishings along with a smart tv. The guest half bath is accessible from the hallway directly off living room. Master includes king-sized bed along with tv.

Venture to the second floor where there is a washer and dryer combination. You will also find two guest bedrooms including queen-sized beds with private bathrooms. Additional bedroom and a shared bathroom features two twin and two full bunks.

Bay Side Retreat offers many on-site amenities. Enjoy the two decks offering outdoor seating for sunset or sunrise gazing. Experience ultimate relaxation at the community private sound beach, swim in the crystal clear community swimming pool (not heated) or simply relax in the community hot tubs bubbly waters. Located at the main entrance of this beautiful gated community. There is also an outdoor shower for added convenience along with large picnic table for family enjoyment.

Enjoy the longest Gulf of Mexico Fishing pier, just a short bike ride or drive. Or spend the day enjoying the local watersports rentals jet skiing, motor boat, wind surfing, and more. The scenic bike path can now take you through the Gulf Islands National Seashore to Pensacola Beach.

2 adult Bikes, kayak and paddle board included with reservation just requires $500 refundable deposit. 4 & 6 seater Golf Carts available for rent. Pac n Play available upon request.

The kitchen was fully stocked with a toaster, muffin tins, and a blender. The only recommendation was to ensure the "starter roll" of paper towels is new. Our starter towel was 3/4 used and thankfully I brought a new roll. Also there was no starter trash can liner for the kitchen, but we used the trash bags we brought.

This house lacked for nothing, Amenities galore! I would definitely recommend you rent a golf cart as it is a hike to the beach with all the gear needed for a fun day. The community pool was small but that’s not what we come to the beach for. We would definitely rent this home again.

Perfect for big family

We traveled with 3 couples and kids! Bunk room was perfect for kids. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed (pots pans utensils). Home was very clean! Appreciated the wagon and beach items. Outdoor shower was awesome and walkable to beach or sound. Perfect quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you.

The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook or grill with, and there is plenty of seating to hang out. We came with a family of 4 and appreciated that each bedroom had its own full bathroom. It had 2 refrigerators (kitchen and garage), so plenty of food storage for large groups. The home is close enough to the beach where it is about a 10 min walk. We didn't use the community pool, since we had the whole ocean to swim in. The owner was super responsive to all of our needs, so we will keep this place in our back pocket for when we return.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, last and middle - we love the property management team (Navarre Sands Rentals-NSR). We have rented from them for several years now in this same development and area and have had stellar service.That being said, this particular home was not the best experience. The AC struggled continually, even at a moderate setting (75) both upstairs and down. Refrigerator icemaker did not work, and garage fridge was not working when we arrived (it did eventually start cooling). The unit was well outfitted and even had some things I was not expecting and the laundry room is a dream!The bunk room was perfect for one young family with us and it was nice for each bedroom to have a bath. And again, NSR responded immediately and helpfully to any issue we had. I just don't think we would book this unit again.

This house is amazing! It is the most well appointed house we have ever rented. The furniture and decor are very pretty. It has everything you could ever need. The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, cooking appliances, cutlery, plates, cups and more. Every room is spacious with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The bunk room is so cool. Big built in bunks that our grandchildren loved. The master bedroom is very pretty and the master bath is beautiful. The garage contains so many things! Extra bikes, beach wagons, beach toys (so many beach toys), extra refrigerator, paddle boards and a kayak. An absolute hidden gem is found at the end of the cul de sac in a beach access to the sound side. As you walk down the walkway and round the corner you are greeted by a beautiful beach area. It was truly gorgeous. Going out of the complex and crossing the road a short way is the gulf side beach access. The pool and hot tub are also good.Our local family joined us one evening for dinner and there was plenty of room for everyone. We are delighted to have found this wonderful house and will definitely stay here again. Thank you Bay Side Retreat for providing such a great house and taking the time to thoughtfully stock your home with everything anyone could possibly need.

We were so close to the ocean and also the sound. We spent a lot of time between the two as well as at the pool. There are so many things to do within short travel distances. There is a wonderful playground and splash pad just before you leave Navarre to come across the causeway to Navarre Beach. We loved Harbor Village and took the kids on the Buccaneer Pirate Adventure. We had a blast at Lagunas in Pensacola. Mini golf and shopping are close. Had such a terrific time! Will return and book this rental again!

Family friendly quiet beach stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of 3 moms and 7 boys loved this stay. The space was perfect for us, and the kids enjoyed the bunk room. The living and Dino’s area were comfortable. It is elevated, so you need to be able to climb the flight of stairs into the home. The houses are in a line on the cup de sac and many are homeowners, which gives it a neighborhood feel. In that regard , it is a quiet area. Probably not ideal for a rowdy group. The proximity to the back bay is wonderful, and there is a really nice little beach there which offers a beautiful sunset and swimming without the wave action. The national seashore is minutes away on foot and the beach is a quick hop across the street. We walked , but there is parking if you have a load of stuff or little ones. The swimming pool was close and clean. The staff was very responsive and polite. They were very easy to communicate with over text message. We have been taking this trip for 6 years, and we all voted this home our best stay.

Between the Bay and the Beach

We had never stayed by the bay and this was a fantastic first experience. A short walk to the bay and we enjoyed putting our lawn chairs in the water and cooling off - be sure to look for the walkway, the sand is so fine it is difficult to walk. When we wanted a change, the beach was just a few blocks away and there are public parking areas so you can drive or use a golf cart. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly need, plenty of room for three families to spread out and the manager was very responsive to any questions. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Fully furnished beautiful home with beach access on both sides.

Our group of 11 had a wonderful time & couldn't get over how beautiful the house is. We were very close to what seemed like a bay which was came waters that the little & adults enjoyed the most of. We were also not far from the bigger beach. We will definitely plan another visit to Navarre Beach & hopefully be able to rent this house again.

Beautiful house, great location, get a golf cart!

This house is fantastic. We had three small families with younger kids and a grandparent and everybody slept comfortably. Living room nice, kitchen nicer than what we have in our homes. Gated neighborhood was nice and really good for the kids and the neighbors were all friendly. The walk to the sound/bay was very easy and it was good for kids, however the beach was a solid three blocks away. Walkable but too much with kids and toys. It made the golf cart we rented super important and strongly strongly strongly recommended!

Won't use VRBO again

VRBO charged me $411 just to book this property. That is a ridiculous amount of money. I was unaware of these charges before they hit my credit card. I will NEVER use VRBO again. These were charges by VRBO - NOT the owner of the property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here last year and looked forward to returning this summer. We noticed a few changes such as more kitchen cabinets locked but most disappointing was the fact that the bedroom closets were also locked. We also rented the golf cart last year and again this year. I'm pretty sure it was not the same golf cart as last year and seemed at times to slow down or not accelerate when wanting it to. The dining chairs need some help. The bottoms of some are falling out. Other than that, we love the home, the space and the convenience to the beach.
