We had a great time at the Shawnee Cabin. The hosts were very welcoming, communications were great, the cabin was pretty well appointed, location was great, and it was decorated for Christmas - a nice touch. Our family very much appreciated the faith based content as well. My only critique is that the master bed mattress is in need of replacement, it is quite indented from usage.

Anniversary Trip

Nice cabin. Semi secluded but quick and easy commute to Branson or beyond. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and we cut our trip short by one day to ensure a safe trip home before the snow fell. Would definitely consider staying here again. Maybe when the weather would not be an issue.

Beautiful place. We traveled from KC to Branson area unfortunately during an ice storm so a lot of places were closed, but didn’t mind just having a remote relaxing little getaway at the cabin.

Thank you for your generous review and comments. Unfortunately the well supplying water to the houses in the area had an issue. Once we were aware of the situation we took immediate action to restore the water pressure. Our house is exterminated on a regular schedule. Sometimes with families /groups opening and closing doors often and the close proximity to the wooded area bugs may get into the house, just like at anyone’s house. This was already scheduled for exterminating the day of your checkout. I would have sent someone sooner if we were aware of the situation We do encourage all guests to call with any concerns and we will address the matter immediately. We want every guest to have a 5 Star Experience. Thanks again for your review and comments.

The only problem we had was the coffee maker would not brew full pots, so we used k-cups which worked fine. Everything else was perfect!!

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! The area is gorgeous, with fun activities close by. The location was perfect. Our adventure started when the link took us to the wrong address—we nearly moved into someone else’s house! But the real cabin, much nicer than the pictures suggest- was luckily nearby. It's spacious, VERY clean, and charming, with a peaceful outdoor area. A friendly cat greeted us upon arrival and became our furry companion for the stay. The cabin does have a few quirks: the bathrooms have no locks (surprise!), OPEN DOOR POLICY in effect the whole vacation, and the kitchen's largest pan is 6 inches, with no spatula in sight. But who needs a spatula when you have creativity? "Bucky," the deer head above the sofa bed, watched over us as we slept. And we even found used men’s underwear in a drawer—talk about rustic living! Just a tip: don’t feed the bears, unless you want to be responsible for Bucky losing a forest friend. Overall, a unique and memorable stay! The little details that were missing didn’t ruin our trip- just suggestions to the host that would make it even better! Great place and I’d be happy to stay there again!

We loved our stay at the Shawnee cabin. The owner was easy and great to communicate with if we needed anything. Check in was super easy, and it was located near everything we wanted to do in Branson, but still off the main road which is how we like it. Very Beautiful and peaceful location. Our Family loved the pool table.
