Dissappointment

Disappointing on cleaniness & maintenance! Cockroaches, cobwebs, items behind beds, someone’s prescribed medication in kitchen cupboard, for us to expect to put out bins that we couldn’t find yet we were paying for a service! Didn’t have a dishcloth, some light fittings had no covers, toilet seat is disgusting! A massive tree root sticking out of ground in front of property & no lightning so very dangerous when coming back to accommodation at night! External doors to open & lock are a fire hazard! Sorry guys for the negative feedback on this property but Elders Real Estate went beyond listening to us & would not hesitate recommending these guys! We love coming & staying in Evans & will just go direct through Elders from now on!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location, near to our unit 4. Curtains in poor condition. A fly screen falling off. This unit needs attention to improve it’s presentation. The rental is too expensive for the quality of the unit. Amenities passable. A toaster blew fuses on the first morning and was not replaced for 4 days after another call for a replacement. Consequently, I have booked unit 1 for my family to stay next year while my wife and I occupy our unit 4.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a wonderful vacation. Unfortunately the unit lacked amenities that would make it more comfortable ,enjoyable and welcoming. No bedside reading lights, no overhead fans, the tv couldn't get all channels, no coffee tables for couch, no cost hangers And the unit was a bit run down. Small touches were missing , like a line outside for drying towels etc, door stop for front door, wall pegs for hanging bags, no water filter, no books, no DVD s, incomplete cookware. I will not be requesting this unit again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a comfortable week at Pacific Palms 3. Getting the keys was easy. It is a quiet complex.The kitchen is well stocked with cooking stuff. You may want to bring things like salt, cling wrap, extra detergent, something to scrub dished with. One toilet roll is supplied so if you use more than that in a week you may want to bring some. Or get stuff from the well stocked IGA.When you go over to the beach the few 4WD's go left. Dogs are allowed at this beach. There is enough space for all. It wasn't very busy at the start of December.
