Holiday with your friends and family at this great town property, located conveniently just meters from the water with views over the Newlands Backwater, and 5 minutes walking distance to town, playgrounds and swimming areas!

Set up with all the facilities to ensure that your holiday is a relaxed one, this recently refurbished space has three bedrooms with room for up to 10 guests, a large open kitchen, a coffee machine, Free wifi and a playstation for the kids. Perfect for all year round with a wood fireplace and a reverse A/C, you and your guests will enjoy every moment, and with a pet friendly backyard and doggy doors you can even bring the dogs along! Only just across the road from the Newlands backwater and the boat ramps.

Relaxed house perfect for quiet getaway

Cute, older house with a bit of charm that provided a central location for us to enjoy the surrounds. Really enjoyed being close to the walking track. Doggy door huge bonus for us, thanks!

Upon arrival this property was a huge disappointment and of concern especially given its website description and the high price paid. Its old, outdated and had a musty smell about it which was not going to be suitable for our friend with health issues. I visited the property manager (Brayden) who was excellent in finding us modern and suitable alternate accommodation. Brayden's customer service is of the highest order.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I actually loved the house and location. The kitchen is really well set up and the place has a real beachy vibe. The couches and beds really let the place down, the master bed is ok but the others are awful.The couch and sleep quality is not good,The main bedroom has just a venetian blind that doesnt keep any light out. So much that my husband left early. If you are ok with a relaxed, cleanish beach house then you will love it. I did.

We were aware that we had booked a 'rustic' experience, but mice, red backs and a bedroom that made me dry reach due to the damp smell is unacceptable. My daughter even had a shard of glass stuck in her big toe due to uncleanliness.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Windsong is located in a lovely position in Paynesville. As far as space, it was perfect as we had family over for Christmas lunch.The beds were very comfortable with clean linen supplied. Kitchen was well supplied however the oven was not particularly good as it was very slow.When we arrived we found the bins full so not very impressed. TThe step in the kitchen was quite a hazard as it is not clearly visible that it is there. A few of us fell off this step on a few occasions including elderley parents. I would suggest that something be put there to make it more visible or you may find that someone has a serious accident.Blinds in the bedrooms were dusty and dirtyOverall all was ok however for what it was,we felt it was too expensive. Perhaps there could be some updating of the furniture in the dining/entry area.

Great holiday shack

It had a view to the lakes down the street opposite, was clean and were one to have 10 something kids, it had a room all sort up for computer games. The main room, with the view, had a humungous table to live at(eat, board games, family dinners). Useful and secure back garden for dogs. And close to all Paynesville amenities.
