Beautiful Vacation Getaway

A safe, clean, peaceful place to be in. We enjoyed our 18 days here. The 3rd floor balcony view of the complex is beautiful. This suite was tastefully decorated. Had all the amenities we needed for a long stay. It was a 15 minute walk to the beach for us which we did not mind as there were a lot of shops & restaurants along the way to visit. We definitely would come back here. The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Great apartment

Great location short walk to beach restaurant groceries staff / security very friendly the apartment itself had everything we needed only issue we had is the loud music coming from a disco nearby every weekend Friday Saturday nights would start midnight right up till 6 am sometimes other then that great place to stay

Great Location

The apartment is small and quaint, we were not there during the day so only used the AC at night which worked out for us with only a small amount of $20 that I had to pay on top of the daily allowable amount. The location is great, within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. I appreciated the washer and dryer since we always had towels and beach clothes to wash. The pool was a bonus after a long day at the beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate on coming back! Thank you!

Thank you for your review of the quaint apartment in Punta Cana! It's great to hear that the apartment worked well for your needs, as you were mostly out during the day and only used the AC at night. The extra $20 electricity fee on top of the daily allowance seems reasonable given the AC usage. The prime location within walking distance to the beach and restaurants is a huge plus. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment is very convenient for washing towels and beach clothes after a long day in the sun. And being able to cool off in the pool after a beach day is an added bonus. Overall, it sounds like you had an enjoyable stay and would be happy to return. The quaint apartment seems to have provided everything you needed for a comfortable beach vacation. Thank you for the positive review and feedback!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The management ruined the experience they are more focused on créating arbitrage then an actual rental. This can be proven by photographic evidence. We worked hard left it spotless they claim messiness even went to extent of removing sofa cover to claim that there was somesort of damage. Was hoping to come back and spend a way longer stay but it will not be happening anymore

Priscilla and family left the place a bit messier than expected and some damages, but maybe it was because the accommodation was treated as a hotel/resort. Guests would be more suited to a hotel environment. We sent evidence of damages to guest and she refused to pay for damages. Airbnb's Air Cover had to step in and pay for all damages caused by the guest. In addition, this is another review left for Priscilla by another host. "We were happy to host Priscilla and her family, and there was good communication, but we regret how dirty the apartment was left on the checkout day. Our housekeeper spent 2 hours cleaning a small one-bedroom apartment. Food was on the floors, sofas and night tables, dishes and pots not washed in days. Didn't take care of any garbage bags or greasy stained sheets from eaten food. Very disappointing." Enough said....

It was literally a make shift apartment not suitable for human. Everything broken and when I reported it, they said maybe it’s cause the appliances I’m used to at home is different. You’re absolutely correct cause I’m not use to appliances being broken. Horrible experience. Then charged my card $100+ for electricity on top of what I already paid. DO NOT STAY THERE ⚠️ ⛔️ WARNING !!️

It is unfortunate that an unhappy tenant is able to leave a negative review with overly exaggerated complaints. Interesting how two days before ending your week long stay you send us WhatsApp message "Hello! Our vacation is going wonderful. The only this is the washer is not working properly." We responded right away with assistance and you responded "Unfortunately, we are out all day and we leave tomorrow". Furthermore, you initially rated us with 5 stars in your pre-checkout form, but after receiving details about your electricity usage, your feedback turned negative and you started expressing dissatisfaction and dishonesty in your review. You never mentioned anything about a smell of sewage and mold during your 7 night stay. The Dominican Republic, being a developing country, faces challenges in terms of cost-effective electricity distribution. To promote energy conservation among renters during their stay, we offer a daily electricity allowance. *Electricity allowance of US$5 per night 1BDR, US$10 per night 2 BDR, $15 per night 3 BDR for daily/weekly rentals. Any usage exceeding this allowance will result in guests being responsible for the additional electricity charges incurred. This information can be found in the listing description, rental agreement, and house rules provided before and upon arrival. This approach enables us to offer competitive rates without having to increase the nightly cost to accommodate electricity consumption. Throughout the years, numerous guests have chosen to stay at our condo. We welcome both new and returning guests who rent from us annually. It is worth noting that we have never encountered a review containing false allegations like this one before. It is regrettable that we were unable to meet this guest's expectations. Please do not hesitate to address any concerns you may have with us prior to renting. We are confident that you will have a pleasant stay at our condo.

Paseo del mar B3A

This condo is in excellent condition...well equipped and easy to maintain. A suggestion for the owners : the balcony could have a sun screen because it is facing south west and unusable from 4 to 6-7pm (way to hot 40C+). Also the pool was closed 4 times during our 3 mth stay...let's hope they find the problem.

Darlene was a NO SHOW, never stayed in our condo. Third party booking. She tried to book for someone else and none of the guests were allowed to check in. Reported to Airbnb and banned from platform.

Noisy neighbor

Over all a good stay. There was one guest in the complex that was extremely loud. Playing music until late at night . She and her guest were extremely loud. To my surprise the guard did not a thing to stop the noise . At one point a guest had to tell her to turn the music down.

Too expensive for what it is

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In general i will say that it was good but it was not up to my expectations.We were in the 3rd floor and they was no mentions that there is no elevator, i was alone with my friend to drop off our lugages upstairs. The condo was very clean and furnished. But the climate was very heavy even if we put the air conditioner few hours and stop it, the house do not stay cool a long time.The pool was good but a lot of insects was inside of it in the start of our stay, and then they put a product to clean it, we was 3 days approximatively without going in, they cut the grass and it goes dirty again.At the end of our stay, in nights we had noise from "intruders" who stayed in the pool with loud music, shout cries...The beach was not at "2 short minutes walk", but more like 10 minutes, except if you go to a closer one which you have to pay the entry. I will say that it do not cost the price of this, and could be better...

Thank you for your feedback. To clarify, it is indicated in the listing information that unit is located on third floor and have 2 flight of stairs. Also, there are 7 different public beach access all within walking distance. No such thing as paying for beach access. You only pay for beach access if you wish to go to one of the all inclusive resorts. So you would pay for a day pass or choose to stay at an all inclusive resort probably for 2-3 times what you paid for the condo. In the summer it can be hot and if you wish to keep the condo cool, you have to open the windows to air the condo then turn on the AC and close all the windows. Located on the 3rd floor there is always a breeze that helps cool the unit. During your stay you never informed us of any issues with the swimming pool or the alleged "intruders". There is security 24/7 and you might've confused "intruders" with other guests or maybe even other owners. We are available 24 hours to report any issues and you should inform us of any issues so we can address them immediately and not learn about them afterwards via a review. Totally unfair to not allow us to make things right during your stay. If you have an issue, you need to speak up so we can address the issue immediately. It seems you would be more suited to a hotel environment. Our condo has new as well as returning guests that rent every year. We have never had a negative review before. It is unfortunate that we were unable to please this guest. Please feel free to discuss any concerns you may have with us before you rent. We feel sure you will enjoy your stay at our condo.
