Maui Sunset B201: Beautiful 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath, Kihei Condo. Sleeps up to Six

Beautiful, spacious, Kihei Maui ocean side of road, two bedroom, two bath condo. Maui Sunset, unit B201. Top quality remodel in 2015 with granite counter, custom kitchen and bathroom vanities. Enjoy the garden view and all the amenities of the highly acclaimed Maui Sunset resort, including swimming pool, gas BBQ grills, free internet, elevator and free parking.

Each bedroom features a king bed, air conditioning and TV/DVD player. There’s also a queen wall bed; much more comfortable than a sofa bed. This end unit, B201, features a garden view lanai and a smaller lanai off the master bedroom with a mountain view.
The condo is complete with washer/dryer, ironing boards and all the kitchen appliances and amenities. Beach towels, chairs, and a cooler are provided for your beach excursions.
Relax with morning coffee on the lanai, enjoying the meticulously manicured tropical gardens. The beach is just steps away for nice walks and beautiful sunsets.
If you stay 14 or more days during Peak or High season we will provide cleaning service once a week.
The on-island manager is very personable and always available to assist you with any unexpected needs or issues.

Great beachfront location!

We have stayed at Maui Sunset several times before and the complex never disappoints. Great location with stores, coffee and restaurants in walking distance. The complex has a fun pool and relaxing hot tub and several other activities for all ages. The unit itself was very spacious, clean and well stocked with the basics. It fit our family of six perfectly!

Kihei Vacation August 8-13

We enjoyed our stay despite arriving Tuesday night during the fires. Darrick checked in with us Wednesday morning to make sure everyone was safe. Our grandsons loved the pool and the amenities. The location was great. Despite the horrific tragedy, we were able to enjoy our vacation. We will definitely stay her again.

Relaxing Getaway

Maui Sunset is a beautiful and extremely well kept property. We live in NE Ohio and this was a great place to get out of the cold weather. We grilled several times and were pleased to see that the grills were completely cleaned every morning. Our one suggestion would be to have a bar near the pool for adults to purchase refreshments while relaxing by the pool.

Kihei stay spring break

Condo was as described and met our needs. Beds comfortable. Kids loved the pool and activities offered like shuffleboard, bocce ball and tennis. Beach best suited for paddleboarding. Very shallow and rocky. Good news is condo centrally located to other beaches that were better for swimming. Would stay here again next time we come to Maui.

A Rental

The condo was very clean upon arrival. It was very comfortable for the 4 adults in our group. It was so nice to have the Murphy bed in the living room so my adult son didn't have to sleep on the couch. The extra lanai in the main bedroom was extremely convenient for drying our wet swimwear and towels. The owner was very accommodating and communicated extremely well. We would love to stay in unit B201 again!

Darrick was very responsive. He checked in with me after we arrived at the condo, post a bad storm, and before our trip, he was very engaged and friendly. The condo was as to be expected, clean, organized, and perfect for our group. The condo came with very nice Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrellas. It also included other beach toys and a cooler. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Nice stay!

The condo was as pictured, nice and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked and made cooking easy. They had a lot of amenities to enjoy outside, the pool, a putting green, tennis courts, and shuffleboard that the kids had fun with. On the last day we found out our flights were delayed until evening so Darrick let us check out much later. So nice of him. We would definitely recommend this unit.

Fabulous Property

The unit and the property was beautiful and so very well maintained and clean! The kitchen was very well appointed making any meals we had in very easy to prepare and we very much appreciated the in-suite laundry. Our only challenge was that the in-room air conditioners were very noisy. Otherwise, I would definitely want to visit Maui using this property again! Thanks Bruno and Barb

Nice Unit

Very nice and clean unit but unfortunately the master bedroom is located right on busy Kihei Road where there were a lot of people whizzing by and playing very loud music. Also, the a/c in the master bedroom is very loud as well so trying to block the noise by closing all the windows and drapes did not really help our sleep. The smaller guest bedroom seemed to be much quieter.

Thanks for your review Susan. While the building is well built, keeping out many sounds, it is true that the unit is close to Kihei Road and the noise can be annoying. For those not used to a wall AC, the sound is noticeable. Others who are light sleepers will appreciate your feedback. I've looked into a split system, which hopefully would allow for the wall to be closed and outside noise more effectively reduced. These are not cheap, however, so I am saving to afford one.

It’s the little things that make a difference.

I think this is the 3rd or 4th time staying at one of Darrick’s condos and he does not disappoint. Not only is a beautiful condo, great area but he’s gone out of his way to pay attention to the little things. So often with these condos you have the bare minimum and that’s it. Never enough for a full weeks stay or more. Here is soft towels, loads of amenities needed in day to day life, even curling items, female products and much more. The place is clean and welcoming. A little quieter than some areas, with a family atmosphere, these affordable units provide everything, giving you the option to eat in or out, stay on property or sightsee. Close to Wailea, but much more affordable, and close to all the Kihei amenities, including stores, beaches and restaurants, but in a quieter setting.
The staff is friendly and the grounds are wonderful. You'll find the (mix of owners and guests) other vacationers friendly and helpful as well - you'll be unwinding and relaxing the moment you step onto the property.
