Awesome Cabin, great view
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here.
Perhaps her more than me.
I was in the area for a medical conference.
She loved the birding on the Big Ass Deck.
Lots of construction going on across the road, so early morning wake ups at 0800.
That is to be expected this time of year as most people come in winter to ski, so folks need to remodel and update in better weather.
The cabin has everything you need including a gas grill on the big ass deck, but it was out of gas.
I should have checked beforehand, buying Wagyu beef with no grill to cook it on was a downer.
This was really an awesome cabin just needs a few things.
Cabinet doors need some rubber bumpers, so they do not slam shut when you close them.
After 3 days I still could not figure out the remote controls in the Livingroom for the TV and Cable.
That may be me being digitally challenged.
I will tell you this. If you have health issues with mobility which my wife does.
The deck is 3 steps up on the short side so if you are handicapped this cabin is straight out.
Love the big ass deck but if you cannot get up to it because there is no ramp or access for the disabled it is just something to look at as you drive by.
I still give this Cabin 5 stars because the owners did an awesome job of making you feel at home once you got inside.
Planning another trip to Ruidoso in October with my sister who is 75 and is also disabled.
She loved the pictures we sent her of all the birding.
