Sycamore Guesthouse, Sleeps 14+, Steps to Journeyman Distillery!

Sycamore Guesthouse, where contemporary furnishings meet within a restored 1880's Victorian home with all modern conveniences for today's needs. Each of the 5 bedroom suites has its own private bathroom with modern Euro showers. Beds are queen luxury mattresses & quality linens set upon modern upholstered platform beds. There are 5 queen beds, 2 full/double beds and 1 pack-n-play crib giving room for 14 adults + children. Just across the street from Journeyman Distillery. We offer your group 5+ bedrooms & 5-1/2 private baths. The covered wrap-around porch is the perfect place to see and be seen as we are located in the heart of Three Oaks Village. The kitchen is well stocked and equipped for most every cooking / preparation needs. We also offer an outdoor gas grill, yard & fire pit May-October (we do not supply firewood.) Outdoor security cameras (2 on porch, 1 at garage and 2 in yard) and video doorbell are dis-armed during your stay.

This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend family wedding in Three Oaks. A beautiful front porch to sit on, comfortable furniture inside and outside of the house. We found the kitchen well equipped and a nice place to gather. Everything about this house was perfect. I would love to rent it again.

This property was as described. The kitchen was well equipped. Everything was spotless. Communication with the hosts was great as well as their responsiveness when we did encounter a problem. My sisters and I had a wonderful time and the location was perfect for our 40th sisters weekend! Thank you!

The property was amazing!! It was so clean and had all the amenities described in the listing. The home was quaint and decorated beautifully for the period of the architecture. The beautiful, big kitchen accommodated the 10 of us, as did the porch. 5 roomy bedrooms each with their own bath gave us all the privacy we needed. The home is walking distance to the coffee shops and other great stores. It is also across the street from the distillery where we took a tour and had dinner. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and checked in during our stay. I would recommend this property to everyone!

Our stay was absolutely amazing, we all loved the house and how accommodating it was for all of us. Such a beautiful home as well. The location was wondering, walking distance to so many places, and only a 10 minute drive to Lake Michigan beaches. I would recommend this house to everyone.

Perfect weekend getaway

We loved the Sycamore house, it was perfect for a fall getaway with friends! The set up was perfect, every bedroom had a bathroom, had a well stocked kitchen and a cute little downtown to explore. I highly recommend the Sycamore House, we will be back!

Lovely little house

We utilized this this property close to Journeyman Distillery for a corporate retreat, and it was everything our team needed for their stay. Check in was easy, the house was clean, and provided the amenities to make their time enjoyable. We'll definitely stay here again!

July 4 holiday

Very nice place and very pleasant stay. The house was beautiful and the porch was very nice to use. It was right on the main street of town, so traffic noise was a bit much at times, but also very convenient to walk around downtown and enjoy the area.

Family Reunion

This property was perfect for our family! Having so many bathrooms was great for our multi-generation family reunion. The kitchen was well appointed and the location was very convenient for getting around to all our favorite spots in the area.

Great Weekend Getaway

We had a girls weekend at this house in Three Oaks and it was perfect. It is a beautiful old house that is brilliantly designed for groups. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and the dining room, kitchen and deck were perfect for when the whole group wanted to gather. Plus, it is an easy walk to everything in town. The hosts were very responsive and we had a great weekend!

Bachelorette weekend

I have stayed at many rental properties and this was by far was the cleanest I have ever stayed at. It was in the perfect location and each room had its own bathroom. It truly could not have been more perfect! Oh and safe!!

Ken and Ron opened the first B&B (Three Oaks Inn) in the Village of Three Oaks in 2011 and quickly identified a need for additional fine lodging within the downtown area of Three Oaks, Village. We brought in Ron's brother to partner with us to create the Sycamore Guesthouse, a luxury guesthouse. Ken grew up in the area and ran his parents retail store for a decade prior to opening Three Oaks Inn with Ron. Ken is also a licensed massage therapist and practices out of the Three Oaks Inn. Mario and Ron are local Real Estate Agents (each their 2nd career after leaving Illinois for Michigan.) They grew up in Chicago and visited the area since childhood. Originally drawn to the lakefront, Ron settled in Three Oaks and set upon his goals of opening a luxury B&B. He's never looked back and continues to grow their lodging business.

Why they chose this property

Each bedroom has a private bathroom (Total of 5+ bedrooms / 5-1/2 bathrooms) and we are just across the street from Journeyman Distillery. We run a tight ship and you'll find no other vacation rental as well maintained or with as many private bathrooms. We were approached by the owner back in 2015 who declared that if anyone in town could make something of the property, it was us. We embarked on a long journey and created a luxury property for singles, couples, families and groups where they can create their own memories that will last a lifetime.

What makes this property unique

Each of the 5 bedrooms has its own private bathroom + a hall 1/2 bath! A fully renovated 1880's Victorian home that combines the original architectural details of the building with modern/contemporary furnishings & appointments. Original framed artworks by Miro and Chagall are displayed throughout the property as well.
