4 SEASON VACATION RENTAL

Large four bedroom, two kings beds and two queens beds, 2.5 bathroom country home. All new stainless steel kitchen appliances. Spacious living room with cathedral ceiling, large sectional sofa with three power recliners, a chaise lounge and 70 inch flat screen TV. Front and rear outside decks with seasonal views of the mountains. Gas fire pit on front deck with seating area to enjoy the outdoors in comfort. There is a fenced in back yard and a gas barbeque on the rear deck. We have a 36 ft salt water pool for summertime enjoyment and a new hot tub for year round use. Our location is minutes to Ski Windham and a short drive to Hunter Mountain both great mountains to ski and snowboard

Mountain Retreat Done Right!

Pictures cannot even accurately reflect how amazing this home is! Family of 6, all adults, spent 3 days here. The goal was to disconnect from the outside world and relax. This home had everything we needed to tune out the world and focus on our time together.The pool was beautiful, large and so refreshing! The owners have a bin full of items to float / lounge in the pool. The hot tub was PERFECT to melt all your cares away! The fire pit was probably my favorite. We sat there as my daughters sang and played guitar and ukele, covered by a beautiful blanket of stars overhead. This home may be one of my favorites ever!

A wonderful getaway from NYC

Great house - just like the listing description, but better than the listing photos! The pool and hot tub were all we needed to make our stay a good one, and both of these did not disappoint. Also nice to have: the outdoor grill, fire pit, easy kitchen to cook in, quiet bedrooms downstairs, and quick communication with the owners. My only complaint was the toasty temperature of the bedrooms. The hall dehumidifier and rooms’ fans were helpful, but it was still quite muggy and warm. (Yes, we kept the mud room door closed.)

Perfect Family Retreat

My wife and I spent a wonderful long weekend and the house with two young ones (2 & 5) and grandparents. The home was exactly as advertised - plenty of space for the 7 of us (and easily could accommodate a few more), with four bedrooms downstairs and spacious, open air living/dining/kitchen space upstairs. The true gem is the outdoor space - lovely front-facing terrace and backyard deck, grills, pool and hot tub. The area feels private, yet you're only a five minute drive from town and local grocery/convenience stores. Owners were also extremely responsive and helpful when needed. Absolutely perfect summer getaway!

Wonderful retreat

My family and I spent two weeks at the property this summer, and had an amazing time! The house gives you everything you need for a perfect getaway to relax and recharge. The house is large, clean and very comfortable. The outdoor area however, really pulls you in and you never want to leave. The house itself is located in great town near many good restaurants, and activities. We had a really wonderful time, and would love to come back next year.

Base Camp heaven!

We have been renting house via VRBO for about 20 years now, mostly out west (where w live). In those 20 or so years, I cannot think of a rental experience that was more positive, more enjoyable, and just downright GREAT than our rental of this property. We were coming into NY from San Diego, for a family reunion. We needed a place that would be great for just us, while also allowing us to invite other family members over for an afternoon BBQ. What an absolutely beautiful house, and beautiful property!! The owners have a really great artistic touch, inside and out, and the main living room is simply awesome. The decks and outdoor patios allowed us to congregate in groups small and large, and the pool and jacuzzi were immaculately clean, and so enjoyable! I would rent this house again and again; if I lived in the NEast I would rent it seasonally to ski - and if I lived on the East coast I would want to buy a house exactly like this!! Thank you again to the owners for renting to us, and for being such supportiive and responsive hosts!

Loved it!

We loved our stay! The house and property are beautiful, private, and relaxing. We were a group of 7 adults on a girls getaway. The house was cozy/roomy with multiple places to comfortably hang out. The house really has everything you need. We cooked, grilled, and got take out with ease. I forgot the hamburger meat and found a butcher 5 min down the road (nice people too). The pool is the best part. Well kept, great chairs, and a beautiful backdrop. Bob and Cheryl were great to work with - very informative and very responsive. They put a lot of care and thought into making it a wonderful getaway spot. Everyone was talking about making it an annual trip!

Incredible upstate NY experience

Everything about this stay was idyllic. The house is beautiful, the property is beautiful, and the amenities are beautiful. The salt water pool was so fun to be in on a hot summer day and didn’t leave you with a heavy chemical chlorine feeling- as an avid swimmer I appreciated that! The hot tub is perfect for stargazing. Having a grill available alongside a nicely stocked kitchen made cooking a pleasure. I’m If you want to enjoy a weekend in upstate NY among those closest to you this is the place! 5+ stars.

A True Vacation

House is beautiful. Owners were great with information. Town of Hensonville has wonderful, helpful people.. This is our third stay and always find new things to do. Plenty of room for kids to run and play.

Beautiful Property

The property owners were wonderful to work with. Very responsive to all inquiries and when there was a potential issue they let us know prior to arriving and worked very hard to resolve it before our arrival. The house itself is gorgeous, beautifully decorated inside and out. Everywhere you look there is a piece of artwork or sculpture. We were so happy with our stay.

Moms and kids vacation

This was our first trip of a soon to be annual occurrence. 5 moms and our 1st grade kids rented this lovely home. We did not leave the house for 3 days!! We were so happy and content swimming in the pool, relaxing in the anti-gravity chairs (provided poolside), gazing into the beautiful trees surrounding the property, eating BBQ, and chilling on the huge recliner couch. Bob was super responsive, I texted with a few questions and he thoughtfully got back to me right away. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Catskills home

From start to finish, a great experience. Owners were super communicative and accommodating. The home has lots of bedrooms and the outdoor area with deck, patio, pool and grill areas were great. Deer (and other smaller animals) roam the property, which was just lovely. It’s not the most modern decor, but fitting for a house upstate and it was functional and cozy for our large group. The town of Windham (7 min drive) has a surprisingly good array of restaurant options. A great vacation.

Perfect reunion spot

This property was the perfect rental for our reunion. We were 10 adult women and fit quite comfortably in the house. The outdoor decks and patio were so lovely. We spent most of the time just catching up or enjoying meals on the deck. Rain or shine this house offers everything you need to be comfortable and entertained. Very comfortable beds, a nice quiet neighborhood, and a stocked kitchen made us very happy. I would absolutely stay here again.

A True Vacation

The owners were a joy to work with. The home has everything and more. The whole area has beautiful views and many places to visit. This was our second time here and I would gladly do it again. I would recommend it to everyone.

The perfect spot!

Really needed to have the family ( our kids and grandchildren) all together after this difficult year; this House was the perfect spot. It allowed us to be together, while keeping isolated. The house was comfortable and more spacious then it appears online. Beds were amazing, with everyone sleeping like rocks. Pool was wonderful; kids had a ball and increased their swimming skills. Robert and Cheryl couldn’t have been responsive.

Lovely place to stay in the summer

We were two families with young children and we found the house very comfortable. The swimming pool was great to hang out during the day as well as the two decks for relaxing and eating. The rooms downstairs were nice and cool. Robert was very nice, fast to respond and accommodating. We will happily come back to this house.

Amazing find

Myself and a few friends stayed here for a ski weekend at Hunter mountain. The setup is perfect: There is a mud room downstairs to dump boots and equipment, followed by a bathroom and a series of 4 bedrooms with nice sized beds. Upstairs is the living room with big screen and ample seating, large kitchen and another bedroom/bathroom. House was clean no worries there. The highlight was the outdoor hot tub, which I must say was magical. We had an issue with the hot water for the showers but I only had to place one phone call and Robert helped me solve the issue in no time. (we had trouble getting cell service out here, just fyi) I would recommend making sure the hot water heater is on when you arrive because it takes a while to heat up in the winter! I would absolutely rent this home again.

Beautiful Property

We were fortunate to stay at Bob and Cheryl's beautiful home for a ski vacation at Windham Mountain. The home is even nicer than the pictures on the website. It is so cozy but also immaculate, and the kitchen is a chef's dream. Beautiful appliances and every cooking utensil and pot and pan you can imagine. We got rained out one day but nobody complained because there is a huge TV, huge reclining sectional, and endless DVD collection. The hot tub was fantastic after a long day skiing. The bedrooms were great and the house is just so clean and nice. We are looking forward to our next trip here!!

We are a 50's something couple that have enjoyed our country mountain home for years and now want to share this experience with others. We love this area and all it has to offer from the great skiing and snow boarding to the challenging hikes and mountain biking. The many wonderful restaurants and artisan shops in the town of Windham have been growing over the years and offer wonderful dinning and shopping experiences. We hope to one day spend more time here!

Why they chose this property

We offer a large four bedroom home with 2.5 bathrooms. The living room is spacious and the large sectional sofa can accommodate a large family comfortably. We have an extensive DVD collection that will be available for use. The front deck boasts seasonal mountain views, a gas fire pit and seating area to make enjoying the outdoors comfortable. We are a short drive to Windham Mountain and a little longer one to Hunter Mountain. We are located on a dead end road so there is little road traffic. Our home is located close to shopping and restaurants while still offering seclusion. We also offer a year round outdoor hot tub/spa and summertime inground saltwater pool.

What makes this property unique

Our four bedrooms are area comfortably furnished. We have two kings size beds and two queens size beds. Three of the bedrooms have televisions. There is a mud room convenient for taking off snow boots and hanging up coats. We have a new washer and dryer located on the same floor as the bedrooms. The kitchen has brand new stainless steel appliances. There is an under the counter dish washer and garbage compactor. The stove has a convection oven and a microwave above it.
