Tiny house with a big heart ( 3km from Postojna)

This cute little cottage offers you a comfortable stay in the countryside. Perfect for active couples, who want to explore surrounding by sightseeing or doing sports and enjoying peaceful evenings. Numerous options for hiking& cycling, bird watching, horse riding, sport flying as well as fishing, rock climbing, paragliding and swimming in the sea.
Perfect location: 5 km to Postojna and Postojna caves, only 30 min away by car are the capital Ljubljana, the coast in Slovenia (Piran) 50 min, the coast in Croatia (Opatija) 50 min, Bled 60 min, Italy (Trieste) 35 min, Lipica (Lipizzaner) 15 min, Caves Škocjan.

The house is located at a peaceful location sharing the yard with the owner's house. Behind the house there is a large lawn. Under a tall walnut tree there is a patio with a seating area and deckchairs, where the guests can relax, read and enjoy nature.The front yard is enclosed from all sides. In front of the house, under the shade and privacy of a flower wall there is a terrace with a dining table, where the guests can enjoy quiet candle-lit evenings. On the right of the house there is a little terrace, perfect for drinking coffee or tea.
There is a double bed upstairs, accessible by stairs. If necessary the sofa downstairs can be converted to a bed for one person.
TV screen is connected to USB with a big number of movies to chose from for later relaxation in the evening.

Kitchen has a refrigerator and a gas stove. All cookware (plates, dishes, glasses, cutlery, etc.) are present. Guests have dish washing utensils, kitchen towels and basic cooking ingredients (sugar, flour, salt and pepper, oil, vinegar, tea, coffee and spices) at their disposal.

In the bathroom there is a shower, a sink and a toilet. Clean towels and hair drier also available. In the bathroom there are basic personal hygiene items (soap, toilet paper).

Guest access

Guests are given full access of the cottage. If requested, access to a washing machine, iron and ironing board can be arranged. If you are traveling by motorbike or a bicycle, you can store the bikes in the garage.

Interaction with guests

Guests are greeted upon arrival and bid farewell upon departure. Communication is possible in English, German, Italian, Croatian and Slovenian.
Guests will be more than gladly advised on what to do and where to go in the area according to their wishes. There is a list of only a few of numerous options in the Guidebook section.

The tourist tax is not included in the price (1,25€ per person per night) and the guests pay it to the host.
Pets are allowed (one dog or one cat). An additional payment of 10€ per night is required, paid to the host at the accommodation.

If you wish to explore the area by bike you can borrow a pair of bicycles.
