About this property
Lake Sinclair property in a peaceful area and very convenient location.
Great place for family fun or friend-gathering at Lake Sinclair - the perfect home for family and friends to enjoy and get great memories!
Comfortable house with 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms – 2,120 square feet of living space in a 1-acre flat, tree shaded area. This home is fit for a group up to 09 seeking a fun-filled time and a relaxing retreat. Easy access either by car (right off US-441) or boat.
Great for fishing, boating, and swimming – we have an awesome boathouse with an inviting deck for suntanning and easy access to the water for the kids. Located in a nice neighborhood and very convenient for your needs - public boat ramp, marina, restaurants, shopping and more at hand.
You can enjoy beautiful sunsets lingering in several spots in the backyard or from the screened porch. Or look at the stars and relax with the silence, around the fire pit. And do it all staring at the lake!
As summer and lake always go with barbecue, we’ve got a great covered patio with a big table, perfect for hanging out, having a drink and grilling – for your lunchtime or dinner barbecue. And yes, you can still have a view of the lake…and chill a bit in our outdoor shower.
The house has a big kitchen with all you need to cook or bake. The dining room boosts a fantastic dinner table for 10 people – so everybody can get together when felling like being inside – and yes, a cozy gas fireplace for the colder nights (or if you simply want to see the flames!).
You will have lots of spots to relax and live the lake life, doing what you like the most. We provide board games, kayaks, life vests, books and everything one would like to find in a lake house.
THE PROPERTY
One floor house: Master Bedroom: King bed | Bedroom 2: Queen bed | Bedroom 3: 2 twin beds | Bedroom 4: 2 twin beds.
Several spaces inside the house where to hangout and enjoy: the spacious kitchen – the dining room and the TV room. But if you came here for outdoors, enjoy outside – the ample backyard has space for the kids to have fun while the adult’s sunbath or simply relax in the hammock or around the fire pit. Or go for a swim: the deck in the boathouse grants a great swimming time with handy access to the lake waters – the house is in a cove, where the waters are calm, and the fuss of others don’t reach!
If you want a little bit of both, enjoy the back or side porch while the afternoon goes by turning into a pretty sunset or stay in the covered patio, perfect for hanging with the ones that are special for you.
Silence and quietness are a great asset in the neighborhood – and you are granted to sleep well, after having a relaxing day.
THE LOCATION
You will be at the lake shore, so having water fun is granted. Bring your boat! – it will be well protected in our boathouse (*). The location is great for fishing – big fish love to be in cove waters! – or simply ride your boat for any of the several picturesque places around. There are islands and small beaches that can be easily visited. Great place for tubing, water ski or jet ski – use the available kayaks for exercising or simply enjoying the sunset from the middle of the lake.
If you are coming for Georgia College or Georgia Military College events, you will be less than 8 miles from the campuses. They are right in the city charming Downtown area – where you will find restaurants, cafes, and shops. Not to mention that you will be tempted to time travel, visiting antiques shops or strolling around the big mansions of what was – in the antebellum time – the capital of Georgia!
As you drive to downtown you will have at your disposal several restaurants, shops, markets and the very Milledgeville Mall, all less than 5 miles away – and easy to access (all bordering US-441).
In case you want some rest from water fun, you will be close to several hiking/jogging trails – try the Riverwalk (Oconee Greenway Park) or the Lockerly Arboretum, for a great walk among beautiful trees and flowers, both in Downtown. Or drive a little longer:
• Rock Hawk Trail (13 miles)
• Rock Eagle Trail (17 miles)
• Oconee National Forest/Hamburg State Park (30 miles)

About the host
Hosted by Sandra Morato
We moved to Lake Sinclair in 2017 and since then we are enjoying everyday of this amazing lake life. The views, from early mornings to sunsets are always gorgeous! During the nights you can see the sky full of stars. I love watching the wild life (we have lots of birds and other animals too) and this a great spot to take pictures (you will see some of them in the house). My hobbies are pottery, photography and gardening.
Why they chose this property
We just bought this property. We decided to buy it after living by the lake for a while. This area has a lot of potential and we wanted to attract people to see how amazing Lake Sinclair and Milledgeville are. Some renovations were done in the house and it is newly decorated.
What makes this property unique
I like every spot in the house - the big dinner table, the bright kitchen, just perfect to start your day, the covered area for grilling… and the screened porch, of course.
The bedrooms are so comfortable too!!!
