Excellent rental in AiX

Great location, spacious, clean, right on border of old town. And PARKING AT THE HOME,, which is rare in AiX. We three ladies all had our own room with bath/toilet. Kitchen was well stocked. Washer and dryer was so convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous house. Having the old town on our doorstep was so good, and no car required as everything was walkable. Supermarket virtually next door also brilliant. We had a really great time. loved having the pool too.

Spacious and lovely

Laurence was extremely kind and helpful. I had an accident and broke the shower door and she couldn't have been nicer about it. The house is spacious and ideally located, in walking distance to everything in Aix.

Location was fantastic!

Loved the location right in the heart of town with a small grocery store next door and parking in the back. Had all the amenities one could dream of. Decor was sparse and the vrbo photos did not reflect the dark and tight living room which thankfully was open to the beautiful and light kitchen. Stairs were narrow and tough to bring up large luggage to each floor. Loved having a washer and dryer and enough bathrooms for us all. Overall, it had everything we needed, and we would stay there again.

Gracious Living in the Heart of Aix-en-Provence

Laurence's townhouse is as advertised. The house is roomy with 5 bedrooms on the upper 2 levels and a large open living area on the ground floor with a large modern kitchen with all the appliances you need for a home away stay. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious with excellent showers. The backyard is a huge bonus with a swimming pool, lounge chairs and a dining area, where we were able to relax after a long day of touring. Everything in Aix is within walking distance, though it has easy access to the city's buses if you prefer. Our group of three people in our 70s walked everywhere. We had a car for visiting other sites in the area, so it was nice to have enclosed parking in back outside of the poll area. Lastly, Laurence was caring host who wasa available to answer any questions we had and who offered recommendations for restaurants close by.

Very clean, spacious

There were 6 adults and 2 children, 8 and 11. The kids loved the magical loft. The orher bedrooms were very comfortable, the bathrooms clean, with great water pressure. All of the bathtubs were very slippery. The common area was huge, allowing the kids room to play board games, while the adults could sit, enjoying wine and cheese. The kitchen was fully appointed. While too cool to enjoy a dip, the pool area was lovely and inviting. Franprix next door. Never got a hang of how to watch tv but didn't miss it. W&D were wonderful. Location is great; 2 blocks to Cathedral. Would like to reurn in warmer days to enjoy the pool.

Fabulous Stay in Aix

This is a terrific property, right on the edge of the old town where we walked to most of our meals. The property is very well stocked, everything you could want. There were three of us and we each had our own bathroom which was nice. There is also a grocery store maybe 100 feet from the house where we got fresh croissants and pain du chocolat every morning. Laurence is a great host, she’s so kind and helpful! She recommended we visit Chateau La Coste where we had a great lunch, wine tasted (for free) and toured the unusual grounds, a great way to spend a half day. We were there for the Rugby World Cup in Marseille, so we just took the bus from Aix to Marseille to attend the game (returning was more difficult☹️). Overall, it’s one of the finest properties I have ever booked, I highly recommend it. Thank you Laurence!

Great location

Excellent rental for couples or a family. Each room has an en suite bathroom. Pool was perfect for dipping. Kitchen very well stocked. Perfect location for exploring centre ville Aix! Also a Franprix next door and gym down the block were added conveniences! Lawrence was a great communicator in English and French!

POST COVID DREAM HOUSE IN PROVENCE!

We flew to Aix from Los Angeles and love this house! I wish my kitchen was as well appointed and the rooms are spacious and for Europe - very large and luxurious. The property manager was delightful and texted us great picks for dining and this home is literally no more then 1-5 minutes from everything. We are already starting to plan spring break 2022 for a return visit!

Nous avons passé les fêtes de fin d'année en famille avec nos enfants et notre petit-fils dans cette magnifique maison et nous n'avons pas été déçus! La maison offre tout le confort souhaité :cuisine super équipée , Chambres avec literie haut de gamme , Salles de bains magnifiques , bonne isolation ,tous les produits de 1ère nécessité à disposition, bref tout est parfait et conforme à la description. La situation à 2 pas du centre ville est encore un plus, attention cependant si vous arrivez en voiture, l'entrée du parking ne se trouve pas dans la même rue que l'entrée de la maison , renseignez-vous avant si vous ne voulez pas tourner dans Aix car beaucoup de rues sont en sens unique voire interdites à la circulation! Ces places de parking (nous avons garé 3 voitures en se serrant bien) sont très appréciables dans une ville comme Aix. Un grand merci aussi à la personne qui nous a reçu avec une extrême gentillesse et une disponibilité sans faille, Nous conseillons vivement cette maison aux éventuels vacanciers intéressés , de plus , l'été avec la piscine, ce doit être fabuleux... Merci à Laurence pour ces 3 jours très agréables

Wonderfully Spacious, Updated, Immaculate Townhome in Great Location in Aix-en-Provence

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Aix-en-Provence during the Christmas holiday, and our rental of this lovely, spacious town home was a big reason. It is very well situated in Aix, a short walk to the heart of the village center. We loved having bedrooms available for everyone in our group of 7, and there were plenty of bathrooms to accommodate everyone as well. The large, bright kitchen is very well stocked, and we enjoyed cooking a few home made meals there. We rented a van for a few days during our stay and we appreciated having a private parking spot (admittedly, it was difficult to maneuver the large van in and out of the gate, but we did it!). The photos of this townhouse do not lie! It is really attractive and comfortable.

This house is wonderful. It is located so close to the city center yet you have plenty of room for all of your family. When it's warm we just relaxed in the pool in the backyard which was a great treat in the middle of the city. Wonderful people, wonderful place, just an amazing stay overall.

Oh-La-La! Don't pass up this perfect home!

This property has it all!! Private, on-site parking (very rare) for 2 or more vehicles, beautifully decorated interior, a fully equipped kitchen, and a two minute walk to the old town. There's plenty of space for everyone and privacy, too, with en suite bathrooms. The only caveat--the owner didn't respond to my request for location info until our arrival day, which made me nervous. Also, ask for specific directions for parking as you need to turn up a side street prior to reaching the house and if you miss it you can easily become lost in the maze of narrow, one way streets (yes, that happened to us!) But, I would do it again just to stay in a place that far exceeded our expectations.

Why they chose this property

I searched for a long time my property : I wanted to be both in the hypercentre of Aix, and still have a house (not a flat) and a backyard with a pool for the summertime.

What makes this property unique

It is fabulous to cross the street and be right in the heart of the vibrant old town Aix en Provence, and yet enjoy the calm of a deck, a backyard and a pool when spring and summer are there.
