About the host
Hosted by Laura A. Allison
Off season, we reside in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, a small resort community close to Chicago, and Milwaukee. For the past 7 years, we have enjoyed winter in Arizona, having owned three homes there. Our favorite home, by far, has been the Peralta Trails home, as it is so well fitted into the wilderness territory, and is less built out with the urban sprawl, and yet there is every convenience very close by.
We love hiking the many trails of the Superstition Mountain, golfing in the many surrounding golf courses, playing pickle ball in the community, hiking and picnicing at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum, doing day trips to other areas of AZ for art fairs, and gathering fresh farm food from a near by farm in Queen's Creek for our evening dinner. There is much to do for the outdoor enthusiast.
Why they chose this property
Peralta Trails is uniquely situated in the Superstition Mountains. The mountains are legendary for hiking opportunities, and for observing the wilderness territory of native Arizona.
What makes this property unique
The house is cozy and comfortable, and easy to maintain. The private yard has hummingbirds, and quail that visit regularly, and are quite entertaining. The pool and the recreation center are close by, and are beautiful, clean, and well equipped.
There are sidewalks in the community, and many open wash areas of native plantings which provide a beautiful natural landscape. Our dogs really enjoy walks in this community, as well as on the many near by hiking trails.
