Beautiful 1 Bedroom Condo secluded over looking the tennis courts from the screened in balcony and the Indoor Heated Pool, Hot Tub & workout room in just outside the front steps. We just adding some new furnishings. The private beach is just past the next building, less than a 2 minute walk through our beautiful court yard with a lagoon and 2 outdoor pools.
In Addition to the 1 bedroom, there is also a single built in bunk bed and a queen pull out couch. The unit has a private secure wifi available to you along with the complex having 24 hour security and gated community. The kitchen has refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and crock pot as well as your pots/pans, dishes comes stocked with some basic spices. We do supply starter toiletries and paper towels also. The Spa is nestled between Mitchellville Beach Park & Fish Haul Beach Park. We have 3 Tennis courts, 2 outdoor pools (open Apr - Nov), 1 heated indoor pool & Jacuzzi. Clamming, shrimping, oysters, mussels and fishing are all allowed on this beach (need a fishing license - avail @ Walmart). This is one of the least populated beaches on the island so it is not overcrowded at all. It is also a great beach for kids to make sand castles, play in the water. I love the walks on the beach and watching the 2 Bald Eagles we have living here with us and the dolphins too. Please note: there are no life guards at our beach.
Hilton Head Island is a premiere resort community. It has 12 miles of ocean beach, over 200 restaurants, over 30 golf courses, nature preserves, parks, shops, Mini golf, and bicycle trails. The island bike trail is right outside the complex. There are also many bike rental companies who will deliver & pickup right to the condo. Savanna is only 45 minutes away if you want to go on a day trip.

Many pool options, nicely kept grounds, the beach has nice sand, rocks and very beautiful at sunset. Family friendly and close to many city amenities.Would highly recommended

This was a horrible experience.

My overall impressions of the property are that it is an older what I would all apartments. Now, they have been fixed up, but there is no denying that it is an older complex. The owner was very very rude when I contacted her when we first arrived. It was so bad we left early.

The property was perfect for a weekend getaway. The beach was nice. It wasn’t crowded and only a few mins walk from the property. The bed was a little to hard for my liking. Overall it was a good stay.

Birthday Trip

It was my friends birthday and we just wanted to relax. The condo had plenty of room for the two of us and was fully equipped. There was so much to do on the proper that if we wanted, we never had to leave. Excellent location and space.

Condo was smaller than described. Enough room for 2 adults, but not 4. No comfortable seating provided; sofa-bed especially uncomfortable for just sitting. Kitchen nicely furnished and bedroom small but comfortable. Beach items furnished, which was nice.

Primitive beach

Needs updating. Not the cleanest. Owner extremely friendly and helpful. Beach is a natural beach so no waves , sand etc. Very muddy and no beach when we were there. Maybe better if not raining. Very private. Tenants upstairs very loud and disturbing during the night

Peaceful/Relaxing

The condo and The Spa at Royal Sound are very nice. The condo was clean and had everything you would need for your stay. The screened in deck was nice to relax on to have your early morning coffee. The condo is right next to the indoor pool, sauna, hot tub and fitness center. The beach is about a 5 minute walk from the condo. We saw several dolphins swimming while taking a stroll on the beach. The owners were very responsive to any questions I had prior to and during our stay. If you are wanting to getaway from the tourist traffic and have a quiet place to relax on the beach this would be it, but Coligny Beach is only about 10-15 minutes away. I would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Hilton Head.

Great Beach Getaway

The condo was exactly as described - clean, comfortable and a good fit for our family of four. The beds were just right; the kitchen was updated and well stocked; and the WiFi was great for our kid's video gaming. The screened porch was a wonderful place for morning coffee. The condo had many thoughtful extras such as paper products, coffee, spices, clever storage areas, games, and beach equipment. There was even a fan on the screened in porch. It is a short, pleasant walk to the local beach where we very much enjoyed our morning wildlife viewing and shell hunting at low tide. The facility itself is laid out well and nicely maintained. We especially liked both outdoor pools and the beautiful lagoon area. This condo is located on the northern end of the island, but it was a quick drive to anywhere we wanted to visit. The Atlantic coast beaches, the Coastal Museum and several nice restaurants were only a few minutes away. The owners were friendly and responsive to our questions.

John & I moved from the northeast to Hilton Head this year. We fell in love with this island, and this villa. It didn't take us long after coming down here to decide to make Hilton Head our home and move here as well.

Why they chose this property

The Spa at Port Royal Sound is a park like setting that is quiet, tranquil and great for families. This Island has over 150 restaurants, over 30 golf courses and the island is only 15 miles long! You would never know because it's all surrounded by trees and beautiful flowers.

What makes this property unique

Staying at our villa not only are you right on the beach but everything is within 10 miles away. You can shop at the outdoor shops or go the huge public beach in Coligny, or try some of the other beaches and shops along the way then come back to peaceful and tranquil villa and sit on the pier over the ocean while enjoying a cold beverage or cocktail. We have grills and picnic areas also located around the property. In the evening you can take a nice moonlight stroll on the beach or just sit right on the pier and watch the tide.
