Cozy cabin nestled in the mountains of Ruidoso New Mexico. Great cabin feel with all the conveniences of modern living including wifi. Full cooking kitchen and outdoor grill for those wanting to stay in for meals. Wood burning fireplace in the living room for warm romantic evenings or family time around the fire. Wrap around deck wonderful for wildlife observation of deer and elk nearly daily, bear on occasion, bird watching, relaxing, or spending an evening under the stars in the crisp mountain air. The cabin was perfect for our family vacay. All the extra amenities just made it so much nicer. A lot of thoughtfulness was put into making the cabin feel so safe and comfortable. Also very clean. The outside seating area was pleasant. Seeing all different kinds of birds using the bird house was cool.

This host clearly is overly greedy! You pay cleaning fees but still are expected to do the entire cleaning team’s job end to end(and they have the audacity to leave a tip envelope!) and you BETTER NOT MISS EVEN A LITTLE DOG HAIR. Despite it being a “pet friendly property”. Then they finish it off by saying you broke things that were old and broken on arrival. Nice property but clearly terrible host. Hope they get out of the vacation home business or we’re all screwed

Fortunately we’ve been in the short term rental industry for several years and have rarely had issues such as this. We enjoy hosting and sharing our properties with other people and have been blessed with good tenants for the most part. We ask our guests to do very little upon checkout (dirty linens in tub & trash to dumpster) and to please respect the property. It is regrettable that the property was left in such shape it necessitated repairs and high level cleaning to get it ready for our next guests. We wish you the best regardless of your clear frustration.

One issue with hot water heater, but then it seemed to work by the next day fenced in yard when is clean as it could be but other than that, we enjoyed our stay a beautiful place would definitely stay there again

Allie was everything we hoped for in a host. The cabin was perfect and met our needs. Any questions I had, Allie was quick to respond. Will definitely look to book this cabin again if we are in the area!
Very cozy and loved the winter cabin decor. I especially loved the Saint Isidore in the main bedroom.
My kids absolutely loved seeing all the wildlife and the looking through the bird watching books in the cabin.

Nice place, just was only 55 degrees when we arrived and with a 2-month-old baby in the winter that was not necessarily the most desirable. Everything else was great with the cabin, and we had everything we needed. Quiet, calm neighborhood with some deer hanging out in the yards. Definitely a little more of a run-down area with quite a few cabins looking abandoned or not used often. Overall, very enjoyable stay and would go back.

It had been uncharacteristically warm and I didn’t catch that the folks who check out just prior to your arrival had turned the heater off when I got it ready for your stay. I’m so glad it warmed up fast and am sorry you were greeted by such a cold environment! Sadly several of the cabins across the street were damaged or even burned to the ground by the wild fire two summers ago and then the resultant flash flooding from the burn scars. We’re so blessed our property remains unscathed and we couldn’t be more grateful! We look forward to hosting your little family again soon!
