Wonderful trip! Wonderful place! Wonderful host!I can’t say enough about the host…which I feel is as important as the property! This is a wonderful lake house, comfortably equipped, and with an amazing view of the sunrise! And, an accessible and accommodating host! This is our second stay at this property and we will definitely stay there again!
Amazing for families and younger kids with the beach area, shallow waters, and big yard. The cottage is far from the main road which was a concern with littles and offered a lot of privacy. My family and I have taken vacations every year and this was one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed in & the beds were very comfortable!
Beautiful location, stunning views. Had everything we needed. We were a group of friends that came to do the 70.3 Ironman. Close to Frankfort for our race. Ryan was great at communicating. We loved the sunsets and sunrise on the lake so pretty. The fire pit was awesome at nighttime we saw lots of stars and a shooting star. The canoes were an added treat to go on the lake.Overall our stay was fantastic would definitely recommend.
Amazing location, fantastic communication and immaculately clean! We loved everything about this stay. The home has a great floor plan and beautiful view. Shooting stars and milky way gazing from the hot tub and lazy days exploring beaches and nearby towns. Wonderful host. We saw a bobcat, loons and a pair of cranes while here. Thank you so much for the perfect family vacation!
We had a wonderful stay at Hidden Springs. The house was clean and comfortable, and the views of the lake are spectacular. The little beach area, fire pit, and kayaks were the cherry on top of the perfect family vacation. Ryan was also accommodating to our change in travel plans and was very communicative.
Our 3 generation family had a fabulous time at this lake house. It had everything we needed and more. Central location to the sites and restaurants we visited. Loved it!!!
We loved this location and house! We are a family of 4 and there were plenty of things for everyone to do. We loved the lake and how close we were to the dunes. The house was very well stocked with kitchen items. We used the kayaks and canoes and had no problem reaching the owner with any questions. We loved our stay and will be happy to stay again when we go back to Michigan.
So much to love about this place - great host, ideal location, comfortable and clean -- and love the sustainability efforts - in all -- so much fun and relaxation!
Loved the location and the water ease for the small children. Rooms were comfortable and everything you need is there! We enjoyed the quaint towns, Lake Michigan being so close. Beautiful property!
Access to so many fun things in such a convenient location. Owner is friendly, available and easy to work with. House was as advertised (or better). Thanks for a great vacation
We loved Hidden Springs. A perfect respite from our Ironman experience. The view from the deck was stunning. We grilled, kayaked, swam, relaxed and appreciated the hosts’ hospitality.
This was an amazing place! Just as beautiful as the pictures show. The property owner was great as well, fast in response time and super helpful! Our family enjoyed the quality time we were able to get from this stay. Would highly recommend this property!!
Love this quiet, off the main road property that is teaming with wildlife. Property offers all necessities for our stay. We also rented the additional space for my in-laws this time. Plan to be back.
The house is more spacious than the pictures make it seem. Highly recommend staying here, communication with Ryan was quick and he answered any additional questions I had. Very peaceful property and a clean place to stay.
My family and I drove up from Virginia to spend a week at this property and we left saying it was the best trip we have all taken together thus far! Our children are 2 and 3 and they had such a great time on the sandy beach, the dock, the lake, the yard. The house is clean, everything on one level. The property is quiet but still so close to local attractions like Frankfort, Crystal Lake, Glen Arbor and more. We had family renting a house nearby on Lake Michigan that popped over for dinner with their children and they also could not stop raving about how awesome this rental property was. The lake was much warmer than Lake Michigan which was perfect for our kids. You can easily walk to Old Indian Trail (we did this one morning) and access a beautiful, practically private, beach on Lake Michigan that is full of huge rocks! Ryan was easily accessible via text with any questions I had. Could not recommend this place more!
One of THE BEST getaways that we have ever experienced!!
This lovely house completely exceeded any expectations that we had! The location was so private, the layout of the house itself was perfect, and the views were...breath taking! The private beach was probably the most favorite part for our family...for our 2 young daughters to be able to get their bathing suits on and run right outside to kayak and swim, was priceless. We will definitely be staying again in the future...
This was our third year staying at this beautiful home on Long Lake. The location is lovely, the small private beach has lots of sand to play in and a dock from which to watch the sunrises and sunsets, the home is spacious and includes everything needed, the owners are very helpful and responsive. We love this area and the home and Tiny House. Can’t wait to return!

Wonderful Stay
We loved the cottage. The kitchen has everything you could need. We enjoyed the kayaks and row boat. The beach was perfect for our two year old grand daughter. We will definitely rent again. Ryan was easy to contact and he was quick with a response . We lost power and still had a fantastic time! Thanks for a great vacation!

Beautiful cottage on a lovely lake.
Beautiful clean cottage on lovely lake.Everything you'll need for a wonderful vacation! Enjoyed the sunrise every morning out of the large windows, and just a short drive to a Lake Michigan sunset. Enjoyed the small towns in area and Sleeping Bear Dunes is stunning! Don't miss the Old Indian Trail right across the main road. Canoeing on the Platte River is another must do! We would Love to come back some day soon!
My family has stayed at Hidden Springs on Long Lake for five years in a row now, and each visit has been absolutely delightful. I love having coffee while watching the sun rise over the lake. My husband takes a kayak ride each morning. The beach is so lovely for wading and making castles. The Tiny House is perfect for our adult kids to have their own space. We look forward every year to time visiting Frankfort, Empire, hiking the trails, and this year we discovered Lake Ann, which is lovely. Already looking forward to next summer!
