This was a nice and clean place to stay. It brought back a lot of great memories of when I would stay a with my grandparents. There were several cute little shops to visit and perfect location to visit Yellowstone.

Alger House was all we could ask for, clean, comfortable, within walking distance of downtown Cody. A great base from which to explore Yellowstone and Beartooth.

Overall it was a positive experience. The living room can use a larger TV and the owner should consider placing a TV in the bedroom for adults who aren't that mobile. Did not like the fact that as a guest I felt like a hotel janitorian. To ask a guest to take out the garbage, throw sheets on top of the washer was way out of line and frankly rude

This home is a destination in itself! The history, the decor, all of it. It's a beautiful place to stay. Have children? They will enjoy the floor to ceiling toys and book options in the second bedroom. A cook has just about any tool one might need. The home is comfy and accommodating for visiting Cody and Yellowstone. Melissa was quick to reply to any questions, proactive to offer creature comforts in the form of adding another air conditioner and friendly. We definitely plan to return. Highly recommend! The only way I'd not recommend this home is if you're unable to do stairs.
