About this property

Yellowstone Studio # 4. Just One Mile From Yellowstone's Main Entrance

Located a mile (1.5 km) from Yellowstone National Park, this studio is right in the town of West Yellowstone. There is a comfortable king size bed, plus a small kitchen with a fridge, range, pots, pans and all you need for a self catering stay!

West Yellowstone is a very small town, with Yellowstone National Park on one side, and national forests on the other three sides.

If you're going to be cooking, we suggest you buy your groceries before you get here. There are two small markets in town. Both are terribly expensive, and do not have large selections. Please let us know which way you're coming, and we can suggest where to stop to stock up.

A maximum of two guests is permitted in this studio.

Sorry, no pets or cancellations, and NO KIDS UNDER 18, please!
Please note that check-in closes at 10 pm. I'm sorry but it will not be possible to check-in after 10 pm. Before booking, please make sure you can be here before 10 pm, as we cannot make exceptions to the check-in time. Please take delays in the park into consideration. You never know when you may run into a buffalo jam! Please do not ask if we can make an exception to the check in-time. I regret that we cannot. The reason for this is that we do not want the noise of late check-ins disturbing other guests who may be trying to sleep. Once you're here, you can get back to your room any time you choose. It's just the noise from checking in we're trying to avoid late at night. Thank you for your consideration!

Please be aware that if you're coming in the winter months, there are times when our entrance (the west entrance to Yellowstone) is closed altogether. At other times in the winter, it is only open to snowmobiles and snowcoaches, and you cannot take your car or bike into the park. Before booking, please check to make sure that you can do what you need to do while in our area.

Please remember check in closes at 10 p.m.!!!

Don't judge the book by the cover. What looks rather plain on the outside was very nice on the inside. I wish the check in instructions would have been sent sooner. The only other draw back was the bed was very high for older folks to get in and out. I would recommend to stay here.

The property was very cute and has all the amenities you need. The host is very communicative and checking in was easy. However, the bed is difficult to navigate given the space and height of the bed. The pillows and sheets smelled like sweat and felt unclean. It was gross. Pillows need replacing. Which is really unfortunate considering how clean everything else was in the unit. Nice bath towels and everything you need to make meals. Replacing the bed, pillows and clean sheets would go a long way for this cute unit.

Friendly and comfortable

We stayed one night and were very comfortable. The efficiency was cozy and situated in town where we could walk to breakfast in the morning. Parking was a little challenging but we parked in a lot next to the building rather than right outside our room.

Perfect For Us!

Our cozy studio is the perfect place to relax and recover after wonderful long days in the park. We have enjoyed cooking and preparing our meals in the well appointed litle kitchen. The staff is friendly, professional and caring. We feel right at home! So happy to have extended our stay for another five days...

Room was very small. They had a love seat in it which crowded the area even more. Everything was very clean except the floors. The manager and house keepers were very nice and helpful.Very close to Yellowstone West entry.

Nice. Clean. Large furniture. Nit very roomy. Bed was nice but large. Had to climb in it. Comfortable though. Shower needs a new door but it works. Large towels, very nice. Cooked on the stove, no problem. Not bad location just in an alley. Close to the west entrance to Yellowstone.

Easy access to the park and everything else

Accurate description of property. Don’t be concerned by the outside as the studio is perfect for lounging after a day exploring! The host is wonderful to reply to any questions you have via text especially. Parking is tight directly outside your room so unload there then park around the side where there is more room. Housekeeping is by request really. Very comfortable bed, too.

Not the unit pictured. We were in a converted attic with foam insulation filling gaps in roof and walls. Layout is crazy...bed on diagonal, could only get in bed from one side due to slopping ceiling. Thank God we only booked for one night...

Complete moron. He was upgraded from the studio he booked to a one bedroom apartment, as there was a power issue in his studio which could only be resolved the next day. The Yellowstone area has millions of bats at this time of the year. They like to nest under the eaves of cabins, which is where the apartment was, not the studios. The bats can get into the smallest holes and the only way to seal all of them is with spray foam.

Great Place to Stay Close to Yellowstone

My husband and I wanted to stay close to Yellowstone Park for our first visit to the area. This property had everything that we needed to prepare breakfast and pack a lunch for a full day of sight seeing. We even cooked a couple dinners and ate them at our outdoor table. The property is only a mile from the park entrance so it was easy to get up early and get into the park before the lines got too long.

Convenient to Yellowstone and Good Value

Considering West Yellowstone has few lodging options offering king-sized beds, this cozy accommodation ranks highly. Management provided easy check-in, and responded quickly to inquiries. The exterior of the property area is unimpressive, but the room itself is adequately stocked and has a kitchenette for simple cooking needs. Parking for a small car is available in front of each unit. We were comfortable during our stay.

Cozy Studio

Very cozy studio. It was just enough for two people. We had everything we needed for our stay. Sessil and Lily were very responsive to all of our requests, including arranging the sale of our unused Bear Spray. Thank you for the hospitality.
