This was our fifth stay at Little Valley Lodge, but not the last. It's like coming home for our family vacation. The house is clean and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen, indoor and outdoor games, TV/video (though we never use them), a stream (complete with crawdads), fire pit, and much more. The VRBO description is accurate. Galen and Jolie have always been wonderful hosts, accessible for questions or help whenever needed. Hiking trails of varying difficulty are nearby, as is Raystown Lake. The only negative thing we can think of is that it is near a country road in the front. The back is a wonderful flat grassy area for playtime and then the stream and fire pit. We love Little Valley Lodge.

We had another great stay at Little Valley Lodge! Thank you so much to Galen & Jolie for welcoming us back for our guys weekend. The lodge is perfect for us with all of the space, beds, and the big table so we can all eat together. Can't wait to come back again next year!

We really enjoyed this property. Lots of room, comfortable beds, quiet and relaxing. Everything worked, kitchen had everything we needed. Communication and checkin were super smooth. Loved sitting on the back porch just relaxing.

We are a large group and this house handled us all very well. Location is close to Lake to enjoy

Great house for a large family gathering

The owners were very accommodating, friendly and quick to respond. The house was clean, comfortable and even better than the photos show. There is plenty to do on the property to keep both children and adults entertained. We hope to return in the future!

The host guidance leading up to our visit provided everything we needed for a trouble free stay. I have never stayed in a vacation rental as well stocked for all of our needs as this one! Accommodations were great for our family of varying ages. It was a quick jaunt into town for a few items we forgot. Thank you!

Weekend Getaway Review

Our group really enjoyed our stay! Plenty of room for the large group we came with. The house was the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend getaway. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed! Would definitely recommend staying at this property!!

Great weekend get away!

Staying here was like staying with family. Everything was there. Toys, games, extras, a gorgeous porch for morning coffee and a creek for evening serenity. Highly recommend.

Spacious home with many activities for the family. The hosts were readily available and responsive. The location was close to town, restaurants, kayak rental, a beach area, hiking, fishing. It was nice to have towels and sheets provided, along with other amenities. We enjoyed the fire pit across the bridge from the stream. Beautiful property I would recommend!

Annual fall family getaway

Nice place! We liked the “dungeon room” for the kids to play in! The yard was nice to play games in and let the kids run (they liked the slide!) Kitchen had the essentials.

We had a great family vacation. The home was spacious, bright, and clean. We all enjoyed sitting on the back porch or playing games at the dining table. The children had fun in the creek and in the basement play room. Our grandchildren are calling it the "yellow slide cabin".

Raystown Lake vacation

We were impressed with the cabin and enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and adequately accommodated our group. Most of our time was spent on the water and our time at the cabin was relaxing. Campfires in the evening and spending time outside in the backyard was perfect for our group of multi-family with children.
