Escape to our new Timber-lined designer North-facing Studio, and experience Warrandyte's tranquility and views - continental breakfast included of course - with your very own private viewing deck. Views, sunshine, Espresso, billiards, river walks/swims - I'm sure you'll have a magical stay!
THE SPACE Bright, open, and cozy. Panoramic, frameless double-glazed windows give you unbroken views of the valley to the North to enjoy in pure privacy, while the warmth of the beautiful Siberian Larch flooring permeates through your feet. The back of the studio is cut directly into the rock, giving you the perfect temperature and sound isolation all-year-round.
Take in the views of the nearby valley as you relax with your morning Nespresso style coffee on the sun-soaked deck. Make a day out of the most sought-after corners of the Yarra River, and relax or float in the sun at our local swimming spot. Don't miss the chance to experience Victoria's best wineries and tastings, less than 10 minutes drive. Or a little further out to the beautiful Yarra Valley.

***PRIVACY***
We have never had a guest mention a lack of privacy, but for your peace of mind: Rest assured that any of your privacy concerns will wash away upon arrival. Yes, the studio is 'architecturally' part of a main house above (set back and further above on the hill), but it is entirely seperate in the sense that it has it's own private entrance that is in front of the main house (no need to pass any main-house windows), and it is cut into the rock UNDER the main house, meaning the only accesible part of the main house that comes close to the studio is the deck on top of the studio (which is typically not used during any Guest stays). Most guests don't even see Andrew after check-in unless they need something, since there is only bush and views, visible from the studio - meaning you also can't peer IN to the studio (one-way looking glass in daylight). You can quite literally, (loudly even) sneak in- and out without a trace.
GUEST ACCESS All interior space in the studio is accessible. The studio is situated in the front underside of the main house. Guests will be able to access most of the outdoor garden areas of the property in the immediate surroundings of the studio, as well as the entire west (carpark) and north gardens.

We highly recommend staying in this tranquil property perfect for a couple and Warrandyte is a lovely little village with great food, coffee and lovely walks nearby.
Staying at this property was wonderful. Andrew was so easy to communicate with and was very attentive to a few needs that came up during our stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who comes to Melbourne as it is comfortable, quiet and not too far from many places. We look forward to coming back again someday soon
We had a lovely time in Warrandyte. The room was comfortable and private, and waking up to the view of the treetops made us feel a little like we were sleeping in a treehouse. The little courtyard was gorgeous. Highly recommend!
Our stay was exceptionally good. The accommodation is very comfortable, immaculately clean, and is set up with everything travellers need. The bed was really comfy and the kitchenette was well provisioned with breakfast cereal, coffee, tea etc. and cooking implements and pans.
We hope to be able to stay here again at a future date.
We enjoyed our 4 night stay, studio was very well presented with thoughtful extras. Double glazed wide windows allowed for lovely views. Location was perfect for us. Thank you Andrew
Amazing stay. Had a peaceful time. Property had everything you need for a short getaway. Equipped with Alexa and Netflix for your evening comfort. Close drive to nearby Warrandyte shops. Thank you for a beautiful stay
We really enjoyed our weekend in this cosy space! You can tell the owners have put lots of work into making it comfortable, right down to thoughtful touches like the coffee machine and motion nightlight in the bathroom. The outlook was beautiful and the space was very private, well insulated from the weather and close to town, the river and the Yarra Valley food/wine district. Highly recommend!
We were happy with the place. My partner and I stayed for the weekend. The location was close to town, the cafes and restaurants were nearby with just a drive away. Breakfast was also included with the accommodation. They also had Netflix, that was a surprise as most places do not provide a paid channel. Overall it was a great stay.
Property is impressive in looks and compact in size, but with everything you need. Location is very good with access to the upper reaches of the Yarra River at Warrandyte and easy access to the Yarra Valley area.
Picturesque views of landscaped gardens through large tinted windows. A canopy of ivy and fairy lights forms the ceiling for the private outdoor setting. Tea, coffee, and a choice of cereals is provided. Oversized showerhead supplies abundance of water, built for two. Music of choice on voice command; timed heating and cooling. Security automated locking system. Hospitable host. We are grateful for the experience.
The accommodation is pretty tidy and clean, quiet and comfortable. we had a wonderful time staying there. The location of the accommodation is great, it's close to the river and only a few mins to the nearest restaurant.
It was a great break on the leafy edge of Melbourne. The apartment had everything we needed for a 3 day stay and we enjoyed the walks in the local area. The continental breakfast was very handy and felt like home!
The village is a great place to visit too.
Was a perfect little get away for the weekend. Neat and tidy with good amenities. Great inclusion of board games and books to use. Would happily recommend to others :)

Why they chose this property
I built this apartment on my own and continue to manage it on my own. I live on the property and am mostly retired so able to help with anything and everything to make your stay as perfect and relaxed as possible.
What makes this property unique
The view from the apartment is a panoramic picture of the Australian bush. With the doors open often the only thing you'll hear is the native birds, and the leaves swaying in the wind. The interior itself is also very warm and cosy, with everything you need to not feel guilty about only enjoying the outside, from inside.
