We absolutely loved the home. It was exactly as it was described. The grill and fire pit were a lot of fun. We loved the community and look forward to coming back again!
Our stay started out great. We enjoyed the fire pit and making s'mores with our family Friday night. Saturday while walking out to go to out with the family one of the front steps snapped in half while I was going down the stairs. Urgent Care instead of Shepherd of the Hills and then it stopped my personal plans from some activities but at least my kids could still go.

Bed bugs?
Overall the place was not too bad. Clean for the most part, not the best neighborhood. Our problem was with the bunkbed room. 3 of our kids ended up with bug bites on them. We found bugs in one of the beds after our oldest complained the first morning. Not sure if it is a housekeeping issue or what. But we were not too happy about that situation.

Quiet but not so cozy
Still trying to decide how to feel about our stay. We traveled with our 5 kids so we needed space and entertainment. While we did love the cabin decor and feel, it had some obstacles. Several outlets didn’t work, the string lights by the fire didn’t work but we still enjoyed the area and the grill. Light on the front porch was so dim you couldn’t see to put in the code much less where you were walking. Both outside trash cans were so full we weren’t able to use them for more than 1 bag, which we know is beyond the owners control. Beds were so unbelievably springy, squeaky and uncomfortable. Only one bedroom had a tv which was slightly bigger than a iPad which made me grateful the kids brought their devices and the WiFi was pretty good. We were gifted 1 extra roll of toilet paper for a family of 7 for 4 days so we did have to go buy more which wasn’t a big deal. I did love the big kitchen which made it easy to prepare a few meals with the variety of dishes, pots and pans. If you’re a coffee drinker bring coffee for a regular coffee pot, only filters were provided. I did like the fact that each room had its own heat and a/c so we could all be comfortable temperature wise and there was plenty of extra blankets and even an air mattress one could use if need be.
Great cabin. Plenty of room for my 6 grandchildren! They loved it and we had everything we needed for a memorable weekend

Why they chose this property
The property is located in the small fishing village of Rockaway Beach on the outskirts of Branson. The community is safe and everything is within walking distance. The lake and public fishing peninsula with the boat launch is easy access being only 2 blocks away. There's also the nearby Pizza Cellar and White River Coffee Company for dining options.
What makes this property unique
This property stands out from the rest due to it's small and charming cabins located so close to Lake Taneycomo. I especially enjoy the atmosphere at night when you hear the crickets chirping and the feel the warmth of the outdoor fire pit. It's the place where memories are made and great times are found.
