Beautifully Updated Beach House At Ogunquit's Footbridge Beach

This beach house has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and is steps away from the much sought-after, beautiful Footbridge Beach (you can't get better views or any closer - see pictures!), and is within walking distance of Ogunquit's shops and restaurants. A very quiet and private beach location. This beach house is tastefully and comfortably decorated and was fully renovated (Spring 2021), including new kitchen, bathroom, central air, hardwood flooring, doors, windows, porches, decks, etc.

Boston Magazine ranked Footbridge Beach the #1 beach in New England, and Yankee Magazine ranked Ogunquit 'Best Beach Town' in New England.

Please note that the only public listing of our beach houses is on VRBO/HomeAway. We are aware of impersonators that try to scam vacation renters. Be careful not to get scammed by impersonators.

Our beach house is located at 12 Beach Plum Lane in Ogunquit, Maine. A very versatile home where each floor feels like your own individual beach house -- especially handy for more than one family or multiple generations of the same family vacationing together. The first floor has two bedrooms, a full bath, a living room with 3 sets of sliders, and a covered porch and 2 decks overlooking the Ogunquit River, marsh and the ocean, and a fully equipped remodeled kitchen opening to a dining room with a gas fireplace. The second floor also has two bedrooms, a remodeled full bath, an open concept fully equipped kitchen, dining and living room area, and another deck overlooking the Ogunquit River, marsh and the ocean. Watch the sunrise or the moon rise over the water from the spacious living rooms and decks and porch on either floor. Outdoor amenities include an outdoor shower, a river/beach-side picnic table, gas grill and Adirondak chairs for relaxing on the lawn. All the comforts of home.

Paddle the 2 kayaks or 2 paddle boards on the estuary. Launch right from the house!

Wonderful!

We had a great family stay. The house is in a wonderful location, easily walkable to the beach, and looking out over the tidal river. You can kayak up and down the Ogunquit river. The hosts live next door, and were very helpful with any questions we had and with local recommendations. Would stay here again!

Incredible location

We had such a amazing vacation. The location was perfect for walking to the beach and to many restaurants. Len's home had everything that you'd need for a beach vacation. We enjoyed the sunrise, it was spectacular! Len was so easy to communicate with. We can't wait to return....

Family's First Maine Vacation

Beautiful and memorable family experience! Awesome tidal river, dune and ocean views. Easy accessibility to Maine's best beach. Plenty of comfortable living and outdoor space for adults and 15-month grandson; very clean and full of amenities. Great eats in Ogunquit and Wells nearby. Can't wait to bring everyone back for more!

Ogonquit visit.

Three retired nurses on a ladies trip had the best time visiting Ogonquit. The property was as promised and location couldn’t have been more beautiful. Len was most helpful and greeted us on arriving. Would love to return again.

Nature at its Best!

We had a great stay at Len's Place. The house was perfect and everything was exactly as described on VRBO. Sitting out in front of the house and watching all the wild life was incredible. If we get back to Maine we would definetely rent this houe again.

A week of total relaxation!

We had the most amazing experience with both Len and his vacation property. Len was a great communicator and made you feel right at home. The rental was updated, spacious and extremely clean. Anything we could need was there in this well stocked house. Being right on the Estuary, the views were incredible and we enjoyed watching the blue heron and other wildlife. A short walk over the footbridge and we were on the beach! There were several great restaurants within walking distance and the Village was a few short miles from the house. There isn't one thing that we didn't enjoy with our week's stay. A++

Nice Spot for Family Vacation

Len is very organized so communications and check-in were a breeze. He was also available for our questions & very helpful. The house is clean and in great condition. We were only 4 adults and 2 children, but there was plenty of space & seating to spare. The house is incredibly convenient to footbridge beach which was handy as we were able to quickly bop back and forth to the beach for meals, snacks, or more beach toys. The beach itself is beautiful, of course, and the roses on the dunes smelled great. Two thumbs up--Thanks Len!

Amazing beach getaway

This property exceeded all of our expectations. The owner was warm and welcoming and very thorough in his information about our stay. The house was as described but so much more. It was roomy for our 8 adults- extended family. Location can’t be topped. The views are magnificent. Can’t wait to return again - definite do over!!

Perfect Getaway

12 Beach Plum Lane was the perfect getaway for us. The property updates are beautiful and well thought out and the location could not be better. We enjoyed watching the tide go in and out everyday, as well as, easy access to the beach. Len is extremely responsive and helpful. We look forward to returning someday!

I could not have picked a more beautiful home for my family to rent for a week it was comfortable and a short walk to foot bridge beach my family’s favorite beach . Len and his wife where available for any questions and the view was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Amazing location - beautiful house!

Loved our week in Ogunquit. The house is right at the estuary, so the views were amazing and we could use the kayaks and paddleboard to enjoy the water. The house is very close to the beach. Town is a bit more than a mile away but there are sidewalks the whole way. Highly recommend!

Clean home with an amazing view!

This clean, well-kept home is in an amazing location. It has beautiful views and is incredibly convenient to the beach and restaurants. It is set up almost as two separate apartments with kitchens and living areas upstairs and downstairs, but they are connected, so if you want your own space, you have it! The owners are very responsive and try their best to make one's stay pleasant and comfortable. We had fun taking the kayaks out as well as the boogie boards. All in all, our trip and the house are great. There are a few dated aspects to the house, but the owners are in the process of updating them, which will make everyone's stay going forward even better than ours was, which was hard to beat!

Our family has been vacationing in the Ogunquit seacoast area for decades. Our favorite beach is Footbridge. We are fortunate to own 12 Beach Plum as you cannot get a better location. We love the vibe of the beach and the ebb and flow of the seasons, watching the tide come in and go out in the Ogunquit River and marsh.

Why they chose this property

12 Beach Plum Lane is a very special beach house. It is right on the Ogunquit River and mere steps away from the Footbridge at Footbridge Beach. Alternatively, you can go out the back door and walk directly across the river at low tide to the beach. Our beach house is 1 mile to downtown Ogunquit, which you can get to by walking the beach or the road. There are also restaurants (fine restaurants to pizza shops) and bars within 1/4 mile.

What makes this property unique

Our beach house is very privately located. We have another beach house next door but there are no other houses within view from the beach side.

The marsh, river and ocean views cannot be adequately described! See the pictures! Watch the tides roll in and out and the heron, seagulls and drakes land in your private porch or decks and backyard. Going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean waves is very peaceful.
