About this property

Charming Duplex Unit in the perfect location for your visit to Anchorage. Walking/biking distance or a 5 minute drive to Downtown Anchorage. Easy access to Anchorage's beautiful Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. 10 minute cab ride from the airport. We are surrounded by the some of the best restaurants in town. There is a Washer & Dryer with all the necessary laundry supplies. We know how important morning coffee is and are always sure to stock the cabinet with quality beans for every guest. This is a duplex property and my husband Ryan and I live next door. We respect and are inclusive to the BIPOC and the LGBTQIA2S+ community, all are welcome and safe here. In the summer you may see us gardening, having a bbq and sometimes processing our salmon catch if we’re lucky! Going fishing? We have a giant freezer in the back yard to store your fresh catch during your stay! This property provides a fenced outdoor space for guests to relax, you can have a fire, or BBQ right outside of your unit. We have a small Chicken coop (No Roosters) , a Corgi named Ulu and an Alaskan mixed pup named iluq. If you are interested in learning more about our hens, we would be happy to show you the coop. Tons of wild life right in our back yard. We have occasional visits from our neighborhood Moose, Cranes and other wildlife! If you are a birder, bring the binoculars because we’ve had many species visit the yard and the trails behind our place. Whether you are visiting from near or far, we hope you love Alaska as much as we do and we would love to have you as our guest.

This was the perfect place to stay a few nights before our cruise. The laundry was especially helpful. Casey was a great host even finding a stapler for us for our cruise luggage tags. Easy to get too and easy to park. I wouldn't say anything really fancy but for our family with two middle school youth it was fine. I

I wish I could give more stars for this accommodation.This is a beautiful, spacious and clean house with the most amazing hosts. From the second we arrived, we were made to feel right at home with personal touches that made us feel so welcome. The house itself was well-equipped with everything we needed and an information folder was available with hints and recommendations for our stay.Our children were made to feel so welcome and Casey even set up a s'mores area for us as our children had never made them (UK). There were so many thoughtful things like this that just made the stay so special.Getting to downtown was so simple. The bus stop was a short walk away and an Uber was under 10. There was a lovely trail and huge play park just a short walk away too.I would 100% recommend this accommodation. If you're staying in Anchorage, make this your base.

This is a nice and clean rental with a well stocked kitchen, fun extras like a record player with several good albums, a nice apartment-sized stacked washer/dryer combo, comfy throw blankets, huge master bedroom, some games, etc. We only have 2 suggestions - another comfortable chair in the living room would be great (we had 2 couples and there was a couch and recliner), and there were no extra towels. To be fair, we didn’t contact the host - we made do with one towel each but the other rentals we stayed in all had at least a few extras (for hair, a clean one daily if wanted, etc). We would stay here again!

This rental is part of a duplex, the owner lives on site and is very friendly. It is an older home, the furniture is comfortable, and the owner has thoughtfully provided many supplies like laundry soap, cooking spices, a few grocery items. I will note there is limited clothing storage, a. Loser with a few hangers but no dresser or drawers to store clothing. Also, there are no pots for cooking, just a fry pan and other appliances like a slow cooker. The neighborhood is a quiet residential area, there’s a nice walking trail nearby. Grocery store and restaurants are about a 7 minute drive away. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash S they were either not available, or the products available were not suitable for all guests, ie a bottle of curly hair shampoo was the only shampoo, my husband was not a fan of using this. There’s covered parking, a few steps to enter the home. It’s not fancy but served our purpose while visiting Anchorage.
