We loved the animals and the pond. Private location within walking distance of Mohican bridal trails. The hosts had a nice book with information about the animals. Our family of 4 and our dog had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
We had a blast at the property. All my adult kids and my toddler grandchild loved the animals. We all love to hike so the location couldn’t be more perfect. The place was very pet friendly as well.
Yes to bith questions. He always answered our questions right away. Little more rustic then we thought but everything worked and plenty of towels and great kitchen. Kids loved the animals. Recommend for young children.
This is a great property! Highly recommended. The owners were very accommodating to our requests and responded quickly. More than enough space for our group. We loved the farm animals.
Such a spacious and awesome place to stay! The beds were comfortable. I left without back pain which is rare. The kids loved all of the animals and feeding them. The owner communicated well with us. No complaints.
This was a wonderful property for our family while we were in the area for a wedding. The kids (and adults as well!) loved the animals. There were plenty of comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again! The host was very responsive and easy to work with. Thanks so much!
We were booked for next year before the end of our 2nd stay. This is like a visit to grandmas farm! We feel like we are coming home when we stay here. I highly recommend! The owners are amazing!
Shane was very quick to reply when I messaged any questions. The rural farm atmosphere with all the animals was great. The kids lived it! And it’s pet friendly so I got to bring my dog along. His daughter is saving for college and offered some baked sweets —her cinnamon rolls were amazing!
My family recently spent the weekend in honor of my parents 50th anniversary. We had the most AMAZING time!! Everyone loved the animals! It was so refreshing to be in such a peaceful and charming place for the weekend. The house has so many spaces that we were able to use which let us create great memories. We had a camp fire and made s’mores, there were spots for my parents to sit and play card games with the grandkids, and a beautiful porch to sit and read or talk into the night while listening to the peepers. We felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. Shane was beyond accommodating to us and even took the time to talk with the kids about the animals. His daughters are saving for college and offer baked goods. We really gave them a test by asking for multiple items including cinnamon rolls, red raspberry and wildberry pies, blueberry muffins, plus a cake for my parents’ anniversary. Even though the cake wasn’t listed as an item, they were able to help us with that too! Let me tell you; everything they made for us was absolutely delicious! We couldn’t stop talking about how great they were. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about this stay. I will forever look back with fond memories at the fantastic weekend we had as a family celebrating my parents anniversary. I couldn’t have asked for a better location and owners to work with.
We LOVED our stay at the farmhouse. My 2 year old had so much fun waking up to the roosters. We loved getting to feed the animals. The location was wonderful and so peaceful, yet close to all of the Mohican activities. Would definitely recommend. No complaints whatsoever.
Loved seeing and feeding the animals, And the owner was very nice and responded quickly to any questions we had while we were there. I would recommend the baked goods they sell also- they were yummy!
It was ever thing we wanted and more. The house was cozy and comfortable, the animals were friendly and fun. It really felt like a home away from home. Will definitely be back.
