The cabin was amazing. The owners were very kind and accommodating. We had a winter storm, the power went out. The owners checked on us and brought us hot coffee. We loved staying here.
Great house and helpful owners as they showed us a few important things a short time after check in. House was as described and the other comments seem right on. Outside the bedrooms, there is only one room (LR/DR/Kitchen combined) so if being in that close quarters is an issue given your groups dynamics that could be a problem especially if you have bad weather.
Redbud cabin and the Myer Family, in particular Kirstie and Bud were fantastic hosts and super responsive. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was awesome! The cabin has everything you need - fully stocked and plenty bathrooms! The entire cabin was a perfect mixture of coziness for the common spaces and roomy enough for the bedrooms/private areas. Great cabin perfectly situated in Hocking Hills. Girls getaway and we so enjoyed the hot tub and gas fireplace. We were also able to talk a beautiful walk through the property. Can't say enough fabulous things about the cabin and hosts! Definitely want to come back!
The cabin was great! So much space , and everything we needed for our Christmas baking was there! We enjoyed our stay so much, and look forward to future stays.
Can’t say enough about Rosebud cabin! Loved the hot tub, beautiful trees and of course the wonderful log cabin. Everything you might need to cook; fully stocked kitchen. Loved the fire pit in the evenings. Bed was very comfortable and cozy! Can’t wait to return!
The cabin was everything listed in description. Perfect location and just what our family needed for a relaxing getaway to unplug and spend time together. We are already looking forward to our next stay.
From the support before we got there we left my family and I couldn't be happier with the cabin and its upkeep. Very comfortable setting and very accessible for many different sites in the area. We will definitely be coming back every year.
I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. It was exactly as listed if not better. Communication with the owners was outstanding and we very much loved meeting Bud. We will be back!
I think the thing that sets this place truly apart is when you’re sitting out back and you don’t hear any cars and can truly just enjoy nature.
Owner was amazing. Came down to show us the place and how certain things works (the fireplace for instance).
Except for that brief encounter we were left on our own. We enjoyed the place so much! We had everything we needed and everything was properly labeled.
Thanks so much for a great trip! We will definitely come back!
This is the second time we have rented this cabin. Both times we’ve had a wonderful experience. The dining table is a great spot for our gatherings for food and games
Our family of ten (three generations) spent three nights at this beautiful home for our first ever family vacation. It was a great experience! Homeowners promptly answered all of our many questions in detail. Our grandkids enjoyed going with Grandpa Bud to feed the horses. Even though it was hot (93!), we still enjoyed the hot tub and even squeezed in a fire and Smore's our last night there. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The beautiful dining room table was large enough for us of us. Several of us had great conversations in the front porch rockers. We were pleased with the accommodations and would definitely recommend it!
We really enjoyed this property! Very clean and adequately supplied! The house is much larger in person. We all had beds and room to spread out. We really enjoyed the hot tub after hiking all day. We didnt get to use the firepit because it rained but it was very nice and two big picnic tables outside. We did use the gas grill. It was cleaned and full of propane. It is only a 25 minute ride to Old Mans Cave trail. And walmart is only 10 minutes away. If we come back to Hocking Hills we will be staying here again. The kids and us enjoyed it thoroughly.
We have a large family and just wanted a fun relaxing place to all be together. The Red Bud Cabin exceeded our expectations! Everything was perfect and we can’t say enough good about it. Hoping to come back soon!
We had a great stay at The Redbud Cabin and hope we can come back and stay again!

About Us:
Tucked into the rolling hills and wooded ridges of Hocking Hills, our small, family-owned lodging business has been welcoming guests for over 30 years with a warmth that only generations of care can provide.
What began as a simple dream in the early 1990s—often just a single cabin or a handful of rooms—has grown steadily through dedication, hard work, and a love for the land. Like many long-standing cabin operations in the area, these businesses were often started by families who saw the natural beauty of Hocking Hills and wanted to share it with others, gradually expanding from modest beginnings into well-loved retreats.
Today, the property reflects that history. Our cozy, comfortable cabins are thoughtfully spaced among towering trees, offering privacy, quiet, and a true escape from everyday life. Guests might find front porches overlooking forested valleys, fire rings for evening gatherings, and cozy interiors that blend traditional charm with modern amenities.
What truly sets our family-run lodging business apart, though, is the personal touch. Ours is still operated by the original owners or their children and grandchildren, creating a sense of continuity and pride. It’s not uncommon for returning guests to be greeted like old friends—some families have been visiting for generations, making it an annual tradition .
Over the past three decades, our business has adapted while staying true to its roots—adding conveniences like hot tubs, Wi-Fi, and updated kitchens, while preserving the peaceful, nature-centered experience that drew visitors in the first place. In a region that now attracts millions of visitors each year, our small, family-owned lodging remain a cornerstone of the Hocking Hills experience, offering authenticity, hospitality, and a place where lasting memories are made.
